^ I really do hope Six Flags puts some shade over the queues off-season, it's kind of a need, and if I come home not sunburnt (cause I don't put on sun screen unless I'm doing the water park) it's a shock.

Going to Waldameer in the beginning of August!

S&S has recently done some amazing stuff, from the looks of it, in China, like OCT Thrust and Launch Coaster (literally the name). I have faith in this project, as it looks promising, and S&S bounced back from the Gale Force mistake and I'm sure it runs pretty well now. Does anyone else get (at least visually) screaming squirrel vibes from this coaster?

^ Thanks!! Pretty excited because we don't have Chick Fil A and Kripsy Kreme in Buffalo, so getting those sometime with the trip. How is their water park? Is it worth the extra money to get all day rides AND the water park?

Was looking at RCDB, and surprised this hasn't been talked about recently. The family launch coaster is nowhere to be found on RCDB, so either it hasn't been updated or they canceled that plan. Someone earlier mentioned about a possibility of Darien Lake getting a Skywarp for 2019, and maybe it's going in the land behind the black gate next to Ride of Steel, so maybe they're prepping and opening that area up? I don't know, it's really weird why RoS is closed.

Six Flags really needs to have some of their representatives to come to the park for a day and see what's up, and how they're gonna fix these problems off-season.

Honestly yea, especially in Buffalo, Mardi Gras wouldn't really make sense here.. It'd be cool if they tried Holiday In The Park here, cause if they can do it in Great Adventure & Great America, they can for sure do it here, but just be ready to see lots of days either closing early or just not opening. That'd be awesome! Love seeing a throwback memory of the park.

^ Which is the need, concert days are awful, since they only have one train (excluding Tantrum but that has a low capacity too), I can wait on a new ride for 2020, what I'd like is a second train on AT LEAST Ride Of Steel and Viper.

A bath bomb from Lush, and man, if you have had a long stressful day, definitely recommend using these! They look amazing when they fizz in the tub, and have oils to help your skin and stuff. The one I got was called "Over and Over" and it's really cool! :

^ Seems like it, cause they're bringing in Fright Fest advertisements in the park currently, and the event is sponsored by Snickers, so it's indeed a Six Flags Fright Fest.

Seems odd they're putting in new additions as soon as they just acquired the park, as it'd make sense to wait a year, see how things work, spruce up the park, THEN add rides. But if that's what they're gonna do I'm not complaining.

^ They could replace that with a music express of some sort and theme it to spinsanity or slap on Harley Quinn's name to that.

I feel like Deja Vu would be in better shape if it was still at Magic Mountain, it's just so rough as Goliath at New England, came off that ride in the 2nd row with an awful headache and was bummed that I had to wait a little bit till the pain went away to ride more rides, you can't ride it anywhere except the first row.
