So just decided my August trip this year is Cedar Point! Staying at their Express hotel, so I'll be sure to use the early ride time. But question, what should my plan be to what rides to go to first? Cause I rarely ever go there, last time being in 2016 when Valravn opened and I just went clockwise around the park. Also found out Chick Fil A is opening outside of the park after they closed the one inside the park, so I'm blessed.

If only DL bought it when Liseberg put it up for sale. Rip. It'd be cool to see a new Vekoma come to the US, a Vekoma Firestorm would be amazing for the park. But I feel like Vekoma is mostly turning towards Europe-Asia parks (*cough* Energylandia).

Only a few of these I'd ever probably ride, because I usually only do 1-4 trips a year. Steel Vengeance Lightning Run Tantrum Wonder Woman: Golden Lasso Coaster / Railblazer (Either or) Hangtime Laff Trakk a lot more but the list goes on

Dark Knight! Pretty fun, but being almost completely numb from the bitter cold in the middle of December at SFGA kinda ruined that fun. I was hoping my last coaster of the year would be Superman Ultimate Flight, but the park closed early while I was running to get to that ride.

So DL has a wooden coaster, a decent hyper, a family launch, kiddies coaster, an slc (which honestly needs to be repainted & revamped or removed), a boomerang, an arrow, and now a eurofighter. Wondering what they'd need next coaster wise...

I wouldn't have a clue, but it isn't a smart idea, especially when they have concerts, the only line I'll stand in on those days is Ride of Steel, every other coaster isn't worth waiting in line on busy days.

Yea, I feel like they'll upgrade their water park next year with that area, but a large flat ride or compact coaster (not in 2019, highly doubt that) there would be awesome.

I'd be so grateful if they were to buy back Darien Lake, we need a big company like Six Flags to get our park back into shape.

Kinda bummed they got rid of the themed sections on the map, Premier Parks really doesn't like theming, but at least thrilling rides and slides have been arriving to the park, which is great. But I'd really like a good ride with a theme, like a dark ride, it could take up the old Cuda Falls area.

Since Darien Lake is getting a new roller coaster, would you ever plan a trip there sometime this year? It's been awhile (I'm pretty sure) since you've gone to the park, just wondering.

That's what I was thinking. I'm having a hard time thinking of theme parks that are reasonably close to existing Six Flags parks that the company would consider purchasing. I personally would love to see Elitch Gardens and Darien Lake become Six Flags parks again, but I highly doubt that will ever happen. Maybe Alabama Adventure, since it is a 2.5 hour drive from SFOG? Or something up near SFGAm like Indiana Beach or Wisconsin Dells maybe? I really have no idea. I really wish they would bring back Darien Lake, they're in need of a big and wealthy company to get the park back up to standards, many areas of the park need to be repaired, attendance is barely climbing (though with Tantrum arriving I think it'll reel in some), and the park's coasters only have 1 train.
