  1. ^ During the week it's kinda dead, Tantrum and Ride of Steel will have the longest wait around 15-20 minutes, everything else is gonna be a one ride wait or a walk on. The best places to eat in my opinion is either the boardwalk, they have everything, or Maria's Italian Kitchen, they have stuff like raviolis, spaghetti parm, etc, and it's SUPER GOOD, like it's a step up from their normal theme park food they have everywhere else, definitely recommend.
  2. ^ Yes! Behind the building that previously housed sea lions, Nik Walenda, and Batman, that's currently used for maintenance. I'm sure if you get off viper and look behind that building you could see them, that is, if they haven't moved them or scrapped them.
  3. ^ I heard someone say that it was for a new haunted house/maze for Fright Fest, I think it was Screamscape, but I'm not sure..
  4. I feel like they'd include memberships in the sale, at least I hope they do. If they have a sale on those, you KNOW I'm getting a diamond elite membership for all those perks.
  5. The park, during Fright Fest, is open till' 11PM on Fridays & Saturdays, and 9PM on Sundays.
  6. Who's selling the park? I mean that's what Six Flags should do, not what Premier should do before SF takes over operations. And most of the buildings that house restaurants and gift shops need them, and I highly doubt they're gonna be taken down.
  7. Yes, but take a look at areas like the old hill that housed Cuda' Falls, that still has Floodgate and it looks hideous if you see it from the Giant Wheel. The locker room in front of it is in disrepair also, it's the cracks and paint chips everywhere in buildings (and rides for that matter) that need to be spruced up, it sticks out and is not hard to pick out.
  8. ^ If you go sometime, you'll see. The park really needs some TLC before it can start bringing in new rides, that's what I hope Six Flags will do over the 18-19 off-season, spruce up the buildings and landscaping, fix some of the rides up, stuff like that is needed.
  9. I feel like the Haymaker is doing well, and it's a classic, it just needs TLC. A new gen. Enterprise or a Zamperla Endeavor would be a cool replacement for Silver Bullet, I wouldn't complain. I feel like there's enough area behind the black gates next to Ride Of Steel for a DC Comics area, which would be cool if they did that in the near future. Rides like a Tourbillon, Tilt a Whirl, and a Giant Discovery would be awesome there, even a Free Fly.
  10. ^ NO! In other news, some stupid kid (most likely) stole my free refill cup at the park Friday. Like why? It's covered in my germs, rinsing it in water won't do anything.. I'll most likely give in and buy another one, but like come on.
  11. MUMBO JUMBO - Tierra Whack She's such a creative and unique artist! I def. recommend.
  12. ^ THIS! Same thought process I have, those would both be awesome additions. They could possibly do both, as 4D free fly's (someone back me up here, but I don't know if it's true) are cheaper than other coasters Six Flags adds, so in a span of 3-5 years they could add that and RMC Predator.
  13. So a deal has popped up! If you're a SF or Darien Lake season pass holder, you can go to a website to add on a park for only $20 (I know this was talked about but now you can do it online)! Found this from the SF corporation forum, where anonymouscactus wrote: https://mypass.sixflags.com/welcomeoffer.aspx , so if you're interested, go ahead!
  14. How would I do this if I wanted to do this the opposite way and get admission to Six Flags park with a Darien Lake season pass?
  15. Nah, it was actually okay 2 out of the 3 rides, and my friend was waiting for the rest of the group to meet up with us so she was saying to go on it again, then they got with us and we rode it one more time.
  16. Thanks for the tips, I'm going August 27th, so don't know how lines will be.
  17. Went to the park yesterday to support my friends at the music festival performing in chorus, and it was fun! Rode a few rides with them after awards (which we won a few. ) and the lines were okay. Rode: Boomerang 3x Mind Eraser 1x Predator 1x Ride Of Steel 1x Viper 1x Bear Valley Bumper Buggies 3x Haymaker 1x
  18. ^ Maybe they're moving them up to be ready to be sent to the scrap yard. Cuda Falls always reminds me of how one time in a single tube I got stuck in the teal Cuda slide. They had to send someone down to push my tube out.
  19. So for my summer trip I'm going to Canada's Wonderland for the first time! Really excited for Leviathan and Behemoth. Just wanted to know some tips and tricks at how to attack the park, like where to eat, path I should take, and yes, I'm budgeting for fast lane plus. Tips are greatly appreciated, thanks!
  20. If you still haven’t been on Tantrum, DO IT! It doesn’t disappoint! The adrenaline from the lift to the brakes is unending! Got there a little before 9:30, and the radio people (with the giveaway goodies) weren’t there yet, so a bunch of other winners were waiting. Finally got the stuff and got into the park. Might I add there were a bunch of school field trips today for band, orchestra, and chorus competitions, so. Park didn’t technically open till 10, so I sat down and waited till they dropped the rope, and “fast walked” to Tantrum. Got to pretty close to the front of the line, but turns out I actually was first cause school kids were trying to get on but the contest winners had priority. Got off the ride and was interviewed for WROC (which wasn’t in their news on the website, RUDE.) and 89.1 (not from Rochester so I don’t know if it was broadcasted). Went to ride Rolling Thunder and that’s always a fun ride. Lines started getting long due to the meddling school kids, so the water park was dead, so bought a swimsuit and did some slides. Pretty fun. Line for RoS was the straight line back out of the station. The restraints are so comfortable, lapbars are always the way to go! Here we go! Hello again! The video won’t post of the ribbon cutting, but it was fun! Cuda Falls slide pieces in a field across from RoS!!
  21. Heading to the park this morning for Tantrum's grand opening! (From Darien Lake's insta)
  22. I LIVE for the new Intamins. This coaster is gonna be a Golden Ticket contender, I know it.
  23. Hand tossed. The Addams Family or Big Fish (musicals)?
