Europa Park Discussion Thread

^^^^ My sincerest apologies, I didn't realize English wasn't Hermanus's first language. I'll think twice before sending something like that in the future. -

That's actually hilarious, and kind of amazing in some respects. It looks like they're trying to report on it as if it were an actual issue that we should be concerned about Also, anyone else find it funny how in the middle of the article they randomly say "Furthermore, the top 10 tallest roller coasters in the world all exceed 300 feet, according to RCDB.com, the online encyclopedia of roller coasters worldwide" for no reason?

How much of SFA closed during thunderstorm (as opposed to just normal rain which I’ve been told doesn’t close much). Also, how long does it take after a thunderstorm ends before the rides that closed for thunder reopen? -

Glad to see this project is progressing! Looks like they took quite a bite out of that helix. I wonder if they're removing it from the layout, if it'll just be low-to-the-ground, or if the wood needed replacing for whatever reason. Can't wait for RMC track to show up! -

If that's the case then it seems like I shouldn't have too much of an issue for memorial's day. Worst case scenario, we ride a few things and then return home and come back another day. That would be pretty annoying though, as SFA's about an hour drive each way for me. -

I guess my question boils down to this: Is it worth going to SFA on memorial day weekend, or should I just wait until next week? I only care about the dry park crowds (though I may go into the water park to take a peek at Wahoo river but not ride anything) -
My first (and so far only) visit to SFGAdv was on a Fright Fest Saturday (I didn't know that Fright Fest got crowded at the time, nor did I have any say in when we went anyway). The park was super crowded, and almost everything was 45min wait. Luckily, I had overall a fun trip because 1)I was with my best friend, and 2) see my signature . Unfortunately, because of wait times, Ka going down after I waited 45min , and excessive walking as well as just standing around, I only got 5 of the coasters (Toro, B:TR, Nitro, Bizarro, Dark Knight) and only one re-ride (Toro). So I wouldn't recommend Fright Fest.

On Memorial day weekend, is it just the waterpark that gets crowds or also the dry park? Also which day of the week (sat, sun or mon) is the least crowded? -

Looks like we're going to have to deal with distinguishing between the two S:ROS's again Assuming they simply revert back to Ride of Steel's old name, that is. -

If the layout’s good, we may get the best rollercoaster in France right next to the worst one -

Does anyone know if this park gets crowded on Memorial Day weekend? I know it’s just an FEC so it won’t get many crowds, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. -

^ ^^ Thanks for the feedback! Another quick question: How crowded does SFA get Memorial Day weekend? Specifically the dry park. -

How much of SFA closes for rain? I'm thinking of going Saturday but the forecast calls for ~90% chance of rain.
