^Indeed. I don't think people actually realize the 5 Intaimin rides were actually under 1 contract, which is why they were put in so quickly. I am actually pretty impressed now that CP can actually still put in 300ft tall rides. I would think they would actually take a year off, but it never really happens. If it's not a thrill ride, it's an entire children section. It is actually pretty impressive to me..

Yeah, ride nights are tons of fun! The hosting crew gets to dress up, have a party, whatever they want...this year my Twister crew did a rave and we had half the station lights off, strobe lights on the train, and we wore glow sticks and bracelets and stuff. It was great! Twister Crew 2011

I feel like this topic has disappeared I know you're busy Robb, but I'm excited to see the rest of this trip!

I have worked Raptor, Wicked Twister, DT, Planet, Giant Wheel, Troika, Space spiral, Turnpike cars, and Calypso. Most of the front of the park basically. It is a really cool job; I never have to use public entrances, I get to walk through low zones (the "danger keep out" signed places), I get to hear the electrical room during a launch on Twister, I get to walk the entire track at DT (we have to do that every night), I get to walk to the top of the lift of any ride I happen to work, I get to push buttons, I get to ride rides whenever I want to, I get to experience them with completely empty trains every morning (it doesn't even matter what ride you work, you can test ride others if you want to), I get to meet a lot of cool people who also know a lot about roller coasters...oh yeah, and I get paid to do it all

Actually the popular ones this year were GCI (so I guess that's holding on...) and B&M dive machine in place of Antique cars.

I was wondering is anybody else caught that! Hopefully a park gets a hold of this so we can work for them! I would love to mix my two great passions, video and coasters. If you spend a lot of time at Dragster (<-fanboy) you can actually see that the entire tower sways and twists a whole lot. The end of the launch track does that because there isn't any side support. You can tell after every launch...it's pretty crazy actually. If you are aware, you can actually notice the sway while you're riding.

And they say Dragster has no airtime...

^^It doesn't have an Intamin/B&M rattle. Does that answer your question?

To be honest, the shoulder part of the Intamin harnesses aren't what bother me, it's the lap bar part...

^You'll probably die on it, too, so it's perfect! I have to get to Formula Rossa, being an Intamin fanboy. It's gonna be years....

^^Yes, they swap wheels a lot because the course is supposed to last an exact amount of time, also, the extensive testing lets engineers know how the strain and forces will affect the parts, so the trains are inspected thoroughly many times throughout. They also program the computer so that automatic/manual modes work correctly, move proxys if needed, adjust wheel tolerances, make sure all buttons (there are a lot, especially at each block) work properly in all modes, etc...there's a lot that needs to be done.

They should make peta stay at sea world for a while and see how they like it

Wow, you can really tell the difference between loaded and empty. Even empty it looks like this coaster will be getting pretty good speed. I'm proud of B&M for this one!
