  1. ^^I completely forgot about that one! That one WAS great! Thanks for the help guys...keep them coming if you know of any!
  2. I can think of USH, Liseberg, and Fuji-Q. Are there any others with true year-round haunt (as in with actors and everything you would expect at HHN) attractions?
  3. ^The seats you took a picture from are $84.
  4. Just what we need...another new NFL stadium where it will only cost $84 for to have a seat where you can actually see the field. I'll stick to college football.
  5. ^Read the post. Read what he quoted. Then you'll have your answer as to what cell phones have to do with training.
  6. Perhaps that is a sign SFMM should invest in its employees and build some breakrooms? BTW, here's a news update for the park: An employee stole $10,000 from SFMM
  7. BeemerBoy: what is your stance on crime? Being that you are a Miami fan, I am led to believe that you are not tough on crime. Please elaborate.
  8. Forgive me if this is a stupid question...but what is the big deal?
  9. Evaluations? Why in the world would a park buy three new trains simply to evaluate them? I'm guessing the old X train is still there for one of two reasons: parts and/or they just don't know what to do with it yet.
  10. Red Beards Revenge and Mother Noose's Scary tales are not new names. They are recycled from Knott's.
  11. Maybe I am missing something here, but where in this thread did anyone not accept your opinion? Everyone in the thread was polite and respectful of your opinion. Besides, you said yourself in your original post that "The rides were top notch, the atmosphere was cool, and the smells were agonizingly amazing." Then in your response, you said "I was simply AMAZED at how nice the staff was, the ride ops seemed as if they were having a blast and they truly wanted to be there. The theming and smells were great, and most of the rides were really fun." So technically, many of the posts in here AGREED with your point of view.
  12. That's part of his act. He's awesome.
  13. The scare zones for Haunt are Gauntlet, Ghost Town, and CarnEvil.
  14. Really? Why is this even an issue every summer? Does the Irvine Company really expect that land to be worth anything to them with the economy the way it is and Irvine Meadows still there for another 17 years?
  15. ^^Was it really necessary to come off so rude in your post?
  16. I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I doubt it was as big as the radio station made it out to be, but I also doubt it was as small a situation as the park spokesperson said as well.
  17. Let that serve as an example of why correct grammar and punctuation are so important on these boards. Apologies. But in the future, please proof read your posts before posting in order to avoid situations like this one. Slow operations in the middle of August are still a huge problem.
  18. Trust me, he didn't do the show. I'm sure the exact details will be in the news at some point, since there was tons of press in attendance.
  19. ^Why would bland, generic background music be an improvement? Losing any atmosphere music, especially the awesome Batman soundtrack is a bigtime bummer. I hope it's just a temporary thing.
  20. The ride is designed to valley in that spot. This is a non-story.
  21. Between the golfers, their families/friends, sponsors, tour staff, media, Disney executives, and so on...a lot of people will be in town for the event. I would guess that there are some sort of contractual obligations regarding the rooms. Disney is probably required to hold the rooms until a certain date so all the aforementioned people can get first dibs on them.
  22. ^^Why is that? His ride is still so popular with guests 30 years after it opened that the park was able to sell advertising on it.
