I felt that the ride itself was quite slow, and not very well paced. Tighten drops and turns, and keep everything lower to the grond to make your rides more thrilling and fast. (See Wolf, another NL woodie)

I really don't think this will have as many capacity problems, as there will be less large people that they have to staple to allow them to ride (cough *El Toro* cough).

The headchoppers should be pretty good, and I think that this can easily surpass any other CP coaster...

I think it is because CP is so well known (stupid Golden Tickets) around the nation as being the best park in the country (though it truly isn't). Because of this, everyone expects what they put in to be "amazing" and so then they have to rave about a ride that hasn't even been announced! Combine that with the number of "OMG! Teh New Ridezzz!" comments, as well as the pointlessly long aquatrax debate, and you get 258 pages of mostly meaningless blabber...

Well, after finally buying a DS Lite (white), I can say that for sure my money will go to the Wii. I absolutely adore my DS (and Animal Crossing!), and it's just the new handheld system! Besides, with Super Mario Galaxy, the new Zelda title, and a new SSB, it has to own. I am even more excited about this than I was, and I pray to God they release it soon!!!

Can they please announce it and end this thread???!!! Thursday can't come soon enough.

...you gotta be kiding me When every one of these coasters came out it WAS the biggest and the best. There not gonna tear down a new coaster everytime something bigger comes out. People are so unappreciative of the incredible rides at this park it blows my mind The keyword here is was. If they tried to make coasters that can't easily be topped (see TTD...), then more of their coasters would still be the best. How long has Exped. Geforce been open? Same with S:RoS. TTD was topped in less than 4 years. I'm not unaprreciative of their ride selection, it's just that I've been on better. They have good rides, really, they do. Other parks just have amazing ones and less concrete...

None. El Toro in no way gives you the insane sustained -G feeling that an Intamin drop tower does. (It's still my #1 woodie, as I don't think I'll be going on the Voyage for a long time...)

So, basically, because they spent MILLIONS of dollars on a ride and put in hundreds of hours designing it, you have to complain because it isn't the biggest or the baddest??!! Honestly, that is the STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard. Ever. My bet is that this is going to be one of the best rides at the park (none of their rides are amazing, and only a handful are very good. The rest are mediocre). And all you do is sit and complain. PATHETIC. Really mature and thoughtful too. You have no idea how it is going to feel, but you decide to complain anyway. Now, this isn't directed just at you, as I'm 100% sure more will complain. Your post was just the first one that I saw, and that's the only reason I quoted it. It's the same with Griffon. People complaining about million dollar rides really annoy me.

Yeah. Easily the best coster enthusiast site around. You guys have an awesome sense of humor and you know how to keep everythin fun!

Flashback was not that great. Honestly, I've ridden it twice and will never ride it again if it is open and has any sort of line. It is pointless. The argument about it being historical is stupid because if Magic Mountain is paved, it will be 2x as sad to see Revvy go (first successful looper vs. only space diver). I doubt very many people would complain if all the SLCs were torn down, and Flashback hurts just as much as any of those I've been on. It looks like fun, but it is violent and mildly painful. It really is not worth it to the park at all to reopen it. Would it be sad to see it torn down? No. It isn't operating, so what's the difference...

The thing I don't like is that Disney doesn't really get any respect in this. Most of the people voting have been to at least one Disney park, if not more, and experienced their world class shows and rides. The fact that most pople don't vote more for any of the parks is astonishing because they really deserve more credibility in this. If half of those people had been to say, TDS, it would've gotten placed somewhere very high (if not beating CP). I just find it amazing in the lack of judgement in (most, not all of) the voters.

^Make your node adjuster thingys longer (I sound like a genius, lol...) and use only 2 nodes per hill. One at the top and one at the bottom. My turns aren't that great, so I'd ask someone else how to do them. Also, you could practice doing steel coasters and then do the wooden ones a lot like them.

^Except for the fact that it is triangular, does not have any type of rail for a catch car, and doesn't look like LIM/LSM's could attatch to it......
