  1. Those strips of wood across the turns, not fully enclosing, gaps between pieces. I'm just glad there's a buzz now for this ride. We're overlooking the name; we just want to ride it.
  2. I'm not crazy about the first drop, it's not a looker, but this genre of ride is to be compact and fun like Boardwalk Bullet. This is a very interesting package for possible future Six Flags use. The tunnels/quasi tunnels look cool with the fan turns. I wouldn't compare it to Prowler either. I would be bored I with that I bet if it didn't involve deep woods. It's a whole different style. I'm not siding that one is better than the other.
  3. I think they already took what I mostly valued of the place. The Topspin is probably toast. Vekomas left behind: I don't care.
  4. Pennsylvania is a second home to me, being that neighboring state.
  5. The park map is revealed: freestylemusicpark.com/blog/wp-content/themes/freestylemusicpark/images/parkMap/parkMap.htm Soak'd is Slippery When Wet Hang Ten (Some of us saw clues already) for Shake Rattle n Roll Roundabout for Max RPM
  6. It's probably the quickest thing they could pull together. Use the star attraction plus the station. Wasn't there a lift around that coaster reported a while ago? I guess they were shooting the ad. I also read that the former EAGLES coaster will be called Ironhorse. That's already the third name for this coaster.
  7. Ladies and gentlemen good evening You've seen that seeing is believing... The first commerical. INTRODUCING “ADRENALINE RUSH” AND “ICE COLD COUNTRY” New Shows Will Feature Extreme Sports and Ice Skating Themes May 12, 2009, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Freestyle Music Park today announced two news shows for the 2009 season, Adrenaline Rush and Ice Cold Country. A fast-paced, high-energy competition, Adrenaline Rush pits two X-Games-style teams, “Team Extreme Rock” and “Team Extreme Roll,” head-to-head in a race for the World Cup Championship of extreme sports. With a cast of 10 male and female skateboarders, in-line skaters, BMX bikers and announcers, Adrenaline Rush is teeming with extreme stunts on a stage filled with half pipes, grind rails, a pool and ramp launches. A show in which audience members can fully participate by cheering on their team to help them earn points toward the championship, Adrenaline Rush cast members perform their stunts to the latest hits by today’s top music artists. Taking place four times daily, the 25 minute Adrenaline Rush show is set in the Myrtle’s Beach area of the Park. In Ice Cold Country, urban country gets the ice skating treatment through this hand clapping, foot stomping, theatrical presentation. Great fun for the entire family, Ice Cold Country gives a new twist to yesterday and today’s urban country hits. A one-of-a-kind show, Ice Cold Country combines country music, dramatic lighting, exciting choreography and dazzling special effects. In addition, the 10 cast members of Ice Cold Country are a troupe of world class championship skating stars. Ice Cold Country is a 25 minute show that takes place three times daily and is set in the 860-seat Country Cooler Theater, which resembles a turn-of-the-century ice factory. “We are excited to announce the additions of “Adrenaline Rush” and “Ice Cold Country” to our entertainment show roster for the 2009 season,” said John Stine, director of marketing and sales for Freestyle Music Park. “At Freestyle Music Park, we feature a bountiful number of entertainment shows, rides and attractions for children of all ages and as we move forward toward our opening day of May 23, we look forward to providing a tremendous season of ‘full-volume family fun.’”
  8. Even if they took it out of commission for a year like the Texas Titan project, that would be cool. South Korea is part of the new steel production empire. It would be great if they could work out a new special project, have track made at Pahong in country.
  9. So leave the thing to become a relic? Demolition would be just as difficult.
  10. How about straight up track replacement like SFOT did for Shockwave? I'm glad I got EF in all its wildness.
  11. Remember the DeLorean and later (or do I mean earlier?) the steam train n Back to the Future III
  12. I love the B&M bib. The Zamperla one is terrible with all the chest pressure I feel. The Flying Dutchman restraint is terrible. It shoves with my body into the twists. That makes me a little uneasy. I do alright with the Arrow restraint.
  13. Does the Rock n Rollercoaster have different tracks per ride? I suppose several cycles would be needed.
  14. I was jealous of guests being able to choose all those tracks on Hollywood Dream. I can overlook the ride name with the fact that you have more choices now and it's the first for B&M in the US.
  15. I can second what Yoshi said about S:UF's typical line. That was so Bizarre you should have taken a pic of SUF's line for the Bizarro picture contest.
  16. SFOT handled it way better than the Cowgirls down the road.
  17. The Parachute shot looks awesome. I wish I could have made it Saturday but new things came up. Sunday was a wash.
  18. I already preferred SROS over MF. Now with the new lighting I hope/believe it will give MF a run for the money lighting wise. It's too bad I probably can't be at the park at night. I live far away enough that I should leave by 5 on a SFNE visit day.
  19. Throwing around the word Love on the Screamscape, The Red Hot Chili Peppers Love Coaster would be an awesome retheme. : ) Anyone going to a Friday's or a baseball game could come up with that name on short notice. "Rollercoaster of love."
  20. Its for you guys cause I befriended them awhile ago, even the old place. Only 23 days - nervous. Quite a bit left to be done.
  21. Hey, You have to spell Philadelphia right. I represent. To me I can't choose NYC over Philly or Philly over NYC but I will say I rank both above Washington DC.
  22. Raging Bull probably draws beyond the area it's in and along with the Chicago history like the Chicago Bulls do. The railroad made Chicago a big town for the meat industry.
  23. So finally they updated their own site. The website has moved into the next incarnation this past weekend. They have a countdown clock on there.
  24. Six Flags Great Adventure. Then go to Cedar Point. Every Enthusiast needs to get to Cedar Point sometime in their life but I really like SFGADV.
