  1. Can Six Flags or Cedar Fair claim intellectual property rights on Geauga Lake's old floating bridge and sue Goodwin for using the idea in his former park?
  2. Medusa was a freak of coaster. Bizarro will still be as well. Will this ride be sponsered by Dairy Queen now? Blizzard.
  3. I can't believe the degree to which I disagree with a lot of the answers.
  4. I've never given an ounce of thought to consider Calico Mine Train was a coaster. I believe it's not.
  5. Best: The Beast, SROS SFNE Worst: Ninja, Adventure Express. I bet Cliffhanger would add to the list if it ever reopens. Dominator and Hydra have the worst endings for floorless coasters I've been on.
  6. hardrockpark.com is back up, finally updated in 2009 tonight 3/31/09. It just has a basic: Check back for updates status. No rides, maps, info just yet. The most promising thing is an upright link to Hard Rock Cafe's site.
  7. Can they keep the "Eat Me" sign on the one eatery? They should call the restaurant Goodwin's and slap a sign under that one. Perhaps they get a Goodwin's Grease Truck for the crap he's serving? NEWSFLASH: I read on another forum the website hardrockpark.com is offline. I tested and it's true. http://www.hrpusa.com/index.php I found that site for Goodwin in looking up HRP's site after it went down.
  8. At least beat Cedar Fair to the chase.
  9. Keep me level that it's business as usual. I'll come in with my season pass still. I might buy a souvenir trinket, not enough to save the place and certainly not a Bizarro shirt but I'll continue with my word of mouth about the place to the GP. I just want to have as normal of a year as possible. I know things are going to settle one way or another in the offseason or near the end of the season-Aug-Fright Fest.
  10. I'm steamed with Mr. Goodwin. Maybe I'll go back to my first vacation choice: Ohio-Indiana.
  11. Aquaman has a chance now. I tried my local SFGADV market coupon distributors not expecting results today and I was correct. They're not out here yet.
  12. With the break on the SFNE coaster name I decided to try finding coupons at my local Dunkin Donuts or Mc Donald's today in the SFGADV market. As I expected: no luck like in the SFNE market. I didn't take it seriously but wanted to play my luck.
  13. NITRO at SFGADV will once again be my first coaster of the year. I want to go Opening Day.
  14. They went on an East Coast trip last year when Ravine Flyer II and Behemoth opened. Darien Lake rules.
  15. I never liked Anaconda's color schemes. It was truly the color of a snake. Shockwave's last paint job of all green was horrid as well at PKD.
  16. Time is ticking away and there's this dumb distraction. I already want to plan my June vacation. It should be about getting the park ready for me and the GP. The naming rights and other issues should be the focus.
  17. The Sahara Sams opening was front page news in my county paper: The Burlington County Times I think last Sunday.
  18. NITRO and B:TR are more of a must ride than the Kong/Medusa SFDK duo even.
  19. Our Medusa is better than its following mirror clone Scream! at SFMM. I'm sorry that it won't be open but even if it was I'd recommend not one but at least two runs on it. Even though you were on the SFMM B:TR I suggest you would get ours. The line shouldn't be more than a half hour for it. I don't see that in late April happening either. It does not count as a credit if you do not ride the version here in person. I definitely did not pass up SFMM's B:TR when I was there. Blackbeard Treasure Train is the easiest credit time wise to get in the park. Even get that.
  20. No need to repeat a terrible joke. The flame thrower is where it should be. Where it will be only a baboon can get to it. That will either be one from the Safari next door or a baboon minded person.
  21. I agree with Superman: The Escape. CHILLER was pretty loud but not S:TE loud at SFGADV.
  22. Even if the power is off I'm sure the park would not want guests in proximity of flammable materials on a MCBR in case people have to evac. It shouldn't be off the ground anyway.
  23. What if the train needs to stop and rest on the MCBR? FAIL. A blackout during the summer might cause the train to stop there. The spiral staircase is up there for a reason besides maintenance.
  24. That was a terrible Tonight Show performance but I'd promote too probably.
