  1. Hey everybody! Last night was night 2 of our Haunted House scaring job. Once again, we had a great time and frightened a lot of people. We can't wait for Halloween! We changed our costumes so that we wouldn't look the same as we did on night 1 because we knew that certain people were returning. Here are some pics of us on night 2! Blood Red eyes always freak people out. CLOWN! My mom looked the scariest again. Here we are, ready to scare!
  2. Hello everyone! This year, me, my brother, my mom, and my dad are all working as scare actors in a local haunted house. It is an awesome yard haunt in the La Crescenta area. If anyone wants to go, PM me and I'll give you the information. It is going on tonight as well as Halloween. Last night was the first night, so we were all dressed up! It was so much fun, and we all scared a bunch of people. Here are the pics from last night. Tonight we will look different, so I'll post tonight's pics tomorrow. I'm the one in the Rasta mask, my brother is the one in the Skull-ish mask with the mohawk, and my mom is obviously the one in the dress with the face appliance. She did her own make-up. Tell us what you think! =] ----Antonio
  3. Yeah, it was great to see! I'm very happy that Fright Fest has improved so much! I'm sure I'll go back one more time this year. ----Antonio"Glad everyone is liking the photos"G.
  4. Hello Everyone! Last night, me, my family, Brent(socalMAN123), his dad BJ, Robb, Jahan, and Hanno met up at Fright Fest and had a great time. IMO, the coasters were running GREAT, and the mazes were far better than they have ever been. (Except for Jokester's) Riding the rides in the dark was a lot of fun, and the overall vibe at the park was really good. It seemed like all the actors were genuinely enjoying their jobs, and that always causes them to create better scares! As for the scare zones, they were FAR better than I've ever seen them. Everyone was very animated and lively. The sliders in Gotham City were good, but the sliders at the top of the mountain were EXCELLENT! Also, the new scare zone just past Log Jammer was a great addition. I actually got some Haunt quality scares in the mazes and the scare zones. That made me very happy! Now for a quick maze breakdown: Joksters was first, and my expectations were high. I had really enjoyed this maze last year. Although I had a lot of fun, I was very disappointed that my favorite part was taken out. That messed up the overall experience for me. Oh well. Still an okay maze. Brutal Planet was next, and I LOVED it! The scares were AMAZING, and the maze design was superb. The maze was so long, and because the theming changed constantly, everyone just kept on getting scared! I really applaud everyone from Brutal Planet. They all did a wonderful job. We moved to Bog, and I enjoyed it as well. The use of fog was great, as it added to the already creepy ambiance. I got a couple good scares, and everyone hid really well. I liked this one a lot. Willoughby's Mansion was the next surprise of the night. It had improved a million times from last year! I got great scares here, and once again, everyone was doing a GREAT JOB! I can't wait to go through it again. Warehouse 13 was the last maze. I really liked it, but the scares just weren't there for me. The design was good, but it also felt very predictable. The use of knives against the metal railings were fun, but again, not scary. Overall, I think Warehouse 13 is a good addition to Fright Fest. It's a nice family maze. Not too scary, not too dark, but still fun. Now, on to the photos! Every pic was taken by my mom, Pennie. Except for the last one. Once again, the whole event was so much better this year. Last year, the monsters didn't want their pictures taken, and they seemed a bit lackluster. This year was the total opposite. All the scareactors were AWESOME! YAY for Fright Fest! I'm looking forward to going back again! ----Antonio Goodbye Magic Mountain! Keep up the great work! Thanks again to my mom for taking all these pictures. All the monsters were very happy that she stayed for the scares! One last stop at Jokester's Hideout. Why isn't this "Haunted Canyon Blaster?! Giovanni wants to be in Japan too. He likes airtime. "Can I unlock my restraint during the ride? I can reach the pin!" "No Brent, you aren't in Japan." Kiddie credit! "SNORT" I liked this lady! She was melting. These two are at the wrong park. They belong in the Mangler Asylum at Knotts. Giovanni loved it again! Jahan and Brent on Colossus. Oh no! Robb's cameraphobia is back!!!! Back to Colossus Backwards! It's Jahan. Thanks to him for being such a GREAT tour guide. ;] Robb has now gotten rid of his cameraphobia. TPR hoodie twins. I can't even truly describe Hanno's reaction to Goliath. I'll just put it this way: before the ride, he was talking about Expedition GeForce and Goliath at Walibi World. Bloody or burnt? What do you think? Whatever he is, he shouldn't have been smiling. Hey! Like my contacts? Isn't she beautiful? YAY! It's the lady again. This guy was different. He didn't really want to talk, but he wanted to stand still and let people take his picture. ......Warehouse 13! On our way into........ Here's a zoomed in pic so that you can see his weird teeth and extra gums. This guy was having a lot of fun. He crept up behind my mom and snorted in her ear. He gave some really good scares to everyone. Vampire Thing! He was one of my favorite actors of the night. He was really into his character, and his teeth went perfectly with his face! This wolf-man was absolutely incredible. He was very animated, and extremely realistic. His teeth and eyes really added to his already great make-up job. This guy was trying to scare me while I was talking to him. I really like his giant cheek bones. "Will you take the picture before Jay fires me for not scaring enough?!" I'm not sure what this guy was supposed to be. Magic Mountain did a good job of making this maze creepy despite the uneventful layout. As you can see, the use of colored lights and fog worked well. We weren't sure what to expect. This slider was scaring people in the line. He was very "in character". Deadman's bog was fun. We are happy for Hanno. His credit count is climbing! Love or hate? You decide. Robb is showing his severe phobia of cameras. TPR blur on Gold Rusher. Pumpkin. THROUGH THE TREES! This guy was really cool too. His sliding abilities were very impressive. This lady was AWESOME! More and more stopped there. Monsters began gathering at the maze exit. He was wearing an outfit from the 1800's. This guy was creepy. He had a pick axe. BRUTAL PLANET! Best maze of the night! This guy had fun kicking trash cans. Lots of people were scared of him. Sanjaya! Sanjaya! This hearse driver was very proper and polite. As you can see, Brent wants his job in 2009. Yay for clowns! They were having fun with everyone. Pose for the camera! These clowns were new for 2008. They were better actors than the evil ones. Everyone was excited to see how Jokester's was this year. CLOWNS! Of course, he liked backwards better than forwards, and wanted to go on it again. Giovanni is ready! Brent and BJ had a good ride though. My dad sat in wheel seat. Big mistake! One thing that can always be looked forward to......Colossus Backwards!!!! Shouldn't retro Batman be replaced with The Dark Knight? We have our wristbands, and we're ready. The devil's a puss. YAY! It's Fright Fest again! =]
  5. ^Whoa, whoa, whoa... It's called Hi-Miler. Yes, in my opinion, Hi-Miler is awesome. It's just awesome in a completely different way from other coasters. It not like it's my favorite or anything, I just really appreciate the fact that it can pack so much fun into its tiny footprint. It has insanely good airtime in the back seat, and it's really re-rideable. ----Antonio"just my 2 cents"G.
  6. ^ Eric, there was a Star Flyer at the Fair. Is that the same thing as a sky flyer? I'm glad everyone likes the photos. ----Antonio
  7. ^Thanks. And, what is Chick-Fil-A? It's awesome. =] Chick-Fil-A is a really good fast food place. They serve all kinds of chicken, (IMO, the classic nuggets are the best), and some insanely good ice cream. Another plus to Chick-Fil-A is how healthy is it compared to other places. Everything that is fried, is cooked in cholesterol free and Trans-fat free peanut oil. The ice cream only has 4 grams of fat, and their lemonade is fresh squeezed. You should find one near you and go to it! The closest one to me is 50 minutes away. =[
  8. Hey everyone! Me, my brother, and my mom took a trip to the L.A. County Fair. We took advantage of the McDonalds Wednesdays offer. We were able to get Unlimited Ride Wristbands for only $20.00! This even included the Mega Drop and Speed (Booster)! It was a great deal! There were quite a few people, but it was really fun. Hi-Miler was awesome as always. All of us really like that little coaster. It is very forceful, with lots of ejector air. It's really amazing to me that a 40 foot tall coaster can provide so much intensity! The Crazy Coaster was running well, and we spun quite a bit. It wasn't nearly as good as Hi-Miler, but still a lot of fun. All the slides were awesome, except for the Goliath Slide. It totally sucked. Mega Drop was GREAT!!!! It is extremely intense, and it gets my stomach every time. The free fall sensation is excellent. -.5 G's at the beginning of the drop, and 5.5 g's at the bottom. Yikes! I could talk about all the rides, but I'll just let the pics and captions tell the rest of the story. All in all, the L.A. County Fair is awesome. Everyone needs to go! ----Antonio We ended our day by stopping at Chick-Fil-A. =] Giovanni decided to lay down this time. Whee. MEGA DROP again! In this picture, you can actually see that we are still dropping, even though we're almost to the ground! Worst. Slide. Ever. Giovanni didn't like it too much. He wanted it to be more intense. Here's the third coaster of the day. It was very strange. The sky ride gives some pretty good views of the largest carnival midway in America. Here's my mom and Giovanni on the Sky Ride. "I'm a bearded dragon. Gimme some candy!" Yay for shaved ice. This is a 2 story blow up slide. It was interesting. Titanic! "The other slope was a lot better!" This is in the Winter Wonderland section of the fair. This slope was a little bumpy. Here we are on the "Crazy Coaster". It wasn't crazy, but it had one good drop, and a few good spinny moments. This is the Euro Slide. It's tall and fast. And, to my surprise, the last 3 dips get my stomach. Zoomed in again. LOL at my face. Perfect timing. ACTION SHOT! Seriously, the fall stops right before you hit the bottom. It is an incredible little ride. Up we go! As I said earlier, when the drop begins, -0.5 g's are experienced. At the bottom, 5.5 g's are pulled. Pretty awesome for a fair ride. This is absolutely true. The ride op pushes the button, and the ride goes up the tower. It can't be stopped once it's started. Here I am on the AMAZING Mega Drop. It's only 135 feet tall, but that's pretty good for a traveling fair ride. The end of the ride. Giovanni is wondering what just happened. Camel backs! Close up! The first drop on an EXCELLENT coaster. =D Giovanni, Me, and Oddish in the Moscow Circus Fun house. First ride of the day: Hydro Slide. It was fun.
  9. ^Spelling "backwards" correctly might be a good thing for a start. In all seriousness, getting a good job when you are 14 is not very easy. Some theme parks and water parks will hire you at 15, though. In fact, at 15 it is a lot easier to get a job anywhere. Maybe you can just wait one more year, huh? ----Antonio"good luck"G.
  10. Fair next week!
  11. ^Is 15 and hasn't reached puberty V Is scared of Halloween.
  12. The angels just cut out her tongue, call her Black Mariah. Would I lie to you? That girl's not right in the brain. Mass convulsions strike the choir by the grace of God!
  13. I was just listening to Electrohead by Combichrist. Now, it's My Darkest Hour by Scary Kids Scaring Kids. ----Antonio
  14. Yes. 1:48 Do you like industrial music?
  15. MCR? EMO?! Not at all. Gerard Way, MCR front man once said, "I think emo’s a pile of sh!t... Emo is f**king garbage – it’s bullshit. I think there are bands that we get lumped in with that are considered emo and, by default, that starts to make us emo. All I can say is that anyone actually listening to the records, putting the records next to each other and listening to them, would know there are actually no similarities.” Hope that clears things up, CP. ----Antonio
  16. So, last week I was at SFHH (Cali). I was in line for the Taboo Tower slides, and this girl was standing in front of me. I was talking to my brother about Venom Drop, because the view of it from the line is really good. For those of you who don't know, Venom Drop is a very steep, 75' tall speed slide. So, this girl interrupts our conversation by asking, "Have you guys ever heard of Summit Plummet?" I told her yes. She then told me how steep it is. She said, "Summit Plummet is WAY steeper than that slide!" (Pointing at Venom Drop.) I told her that in actuality, Summit Plummet was much taller than Venom, but not as steep. She insisted that Summit Plummet was taller and steeper. She told me that as soon as it "goes under the platform, the slide goes to vertical." I was done arguing with her, but I was very surprised at the fact that anyone could ever think that a water slide was 90 degrees steep. Especially half way down! The GP are crazy! Anyway, here are a couple pics of Venom Drop. ........And a close-up of his reaction to a free fall slide. =] Here is my 7 year old brother........... Here I am, sliding down Venom Drop.
  17. Wow. The world will end after tribulation is over. Considering the fact that it hasn't even started yet, the world is most definitely not ending today. And, for all of you 2012 people, IMO the world can't end then either. I believe that this is the order: 1. Rapture 2. Tribulation/seven year period 3. More of God's wrath 4. End of the world So......even if the rapture happened today, there are not 7 years between today and 2012. So basically, I don't believe either of these concepts. ----Antonio"just my two cents"G.
  18. It's been too long since my last concert. I may go to Together as One on Dec. 31/ Jan. 1. What I really, REALLY want is to go see these guys! I'm listening to them right now. ----Antonio This is the lead guy, Andy. This is Combichrist!
  19. ^Loves dogs V Eats dogs
  20. I listen to awesomeness. It's just that simple. Right now I'm listening to Happy F**king Birthday by Combichrist, but I was just listening to Katy Perry. Before that it was Offspring. ----Antonio"Diverse enough?"G.
  21. Nope. Intamin takes the cake. Have you heard of Combichrist? (They are awesome)
  22. Wow.......I like this topic. I'm going to me editing this post over and over adding places. Ok. 24. Thank you very much for the critique, coastercrazy216. However, I said what I said in my original post because I knew people like you would look at my coaster. I thought it would be a good idea to give everyone a warning that my coaster was purposely custom, and an extremely different ride than a normal B&M floorless coaster. Next, the "odd moment" out of the station was just for fun. Third, I feel that the portion after the lift was part of my own creativity. Fourth, I must humbly say that I completely disagree with your statement about the inversions being unsuitable for a B&M coaster. Almost every B&M floorless has a loop and a heartline, as does Black Sea Nettle. Others, Griffon for example, have immelmens. Fifth, you say that I "didn't even have a break run." What was the thing right before the barrel roll? I do believe that those are called brake runs. I truly hope that I'm not sounding rude, because I do appreciate your critique. I just feel that things need to be cleared up a bit. ----Antonio
