  1. Somewhere I have a bunch of Steel Phantom photos taken on a day we visited and there were practically no people in the park. I have to dig through some boxes, so it might take awhile to locate them, but I will begin the search... dt
  2. Agreed. And I think what made it even more amusing was the reaction from the ECC/ACE folks. The main articles on ARN&R are somewhat inconsistant (though Site O'The Weak usually amuses), but the stuff on the sidebar is consistanly comedy gold. That's what keeps me coming back to the site... dt
  3. I've been to all three of those Jeepers. I'm pretty sure the Parkville one did used to be a grocery store. These places are kind of fun with a group of people. Robb and I almost killing ourselves on the bumper cars was a highlight of one visit. Just don't eat the food at any of these places! dt
  4. Grrrr, guess I'll miss this again. This is one tough credit to get! dt
  5. ^Agreed. Though these guys do seem to have a background in using a lot of focus groups/marketing surveys, so let's hope they really use a lot of these methods to find out what works/doesn't work, and fine tune their new efforts. I'm still waiting to see if "Clean Safe Fun" actually comes true... dt
  6. I'm currently at 402, if my count is correct (haven't updated it in awhile). Got over 100 new credits last year, and should get a decent number again this year... dt
  7. ^Aw, and it looked like he would have been such a great contributor to the forum... Yeah, I'm 44. I not only like coasters, but I also go white water rafting and attend metal shows (was just at Devin Townsend/Dark Tranquility/Opeth on Friday). I'll stop doing this stuff when I die. Age is just a state of mind anyway... dt
  8. Iron Maiden - Number Of The Beast dt
  9. I used to work at Hersheypark, but it was over 20 years ago, and the place is totally different now. The area around Hershey is nice, though depending on where you're from you might find it on the quiet side. You're not too far from Harrisburg, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shopping areas all over the place. Depending on what kind of music you like, the PA music scene can be pretty weak. Have fun! dt
  10. Expedition Ge Force. I cannot imagine EVER getting tired of riding that... dt
  11. If you mean "screams dave will need to be placed into a mental health facility after riding", then yes. Dave "NO ENCLOSED WATERSLIDES EVER" Thomas
  12. You cannot take a rental car in to Mexico (the rental places in CA will point this out to you when you rent a car). dt
  13. I'll second that contest idea. A 10th Anniversary Logo contest would be a lot of fun... dt
  14. ^Rumor has it I'll be in the Valencia area that night... dt
  15. I've lived in the top three. I can't even imagine how much time I've spent in my car. I quit my last job because I was spending up to four hours a day in my car. dt
  16. Williams Grove was a dump when I was a kid. It's a dump now. It has a sort of odd charm, but it's really not a nice park. I honestly don't think it will ever be open again, though I suspect it will sit there rotting away, as there's no way they'll be able to build anything there with the race track right next to the place. I'd imagine a lot of the rides could be moved, though I have no idea what sort of shape they're in. The Cyclone could probably be pushed over by a group of pre-schoolers in an afternoon without too much effort, so I don't think that will be going anywhere... dt
  17. Word has it that the coolest person ever is coming all the way from Maryland for this event... dt
  18. Going to a drag show on VD day is a BRILLIANT idea! Thanks for posting the pics... dt
  19. I really enjoyed DLP when we visited last year. I highly recommend visiting if you have the chance... dt
  20. I've used front page, but don't currently have a copy. I'm using Dreamweaver now. Anyway, let me know if you need my help... dt
  21. Sadly, Alien Encounter has been replaced with one of the worst attractions I've ever experienced. They would have been better off making it a gift shop... dt
  22. Most hotels have laundry facilities, so I'd take advantage of those. I'd only use the Laundromat as a last resort, but that might just be me as I find them totally creepy and depressing. We brought three week's worth of clothes to Europe last year, and did all our laundry when we got home. There's usually not enough time on a trip to do the wash... dt
  23. Congrats on the new project. I know almost nothing about The Transformers, but hopefully a rail gun will be involved somehow... dt
  24. You are an evil man... dt
  25. Happy Birthday to the TPR Forums. And Happy 44th birthday to someone else...*cough* dt
