  1. I loved Gilroy Gardens' cars, and Castle Park's ride is notable for the simple fact that it's really freakin' fast - I'm sure Jason (aka printersdevil79) will back me up on this, since we rode together, way back in '09.
  2. Worse than License To Kill? Definitely! I actually love License to KIll, but it may be a guilty pleasure more than anything. I also think All-Time High from Octopussy deserves a mention for 'poor Bond themes'. Back to the scheduled topic...
  3. Great report - and the references to my favourite-Bond-film-with-my-least-favourite-Bond-theme were the icing on a very seedy cake.
  4. Out of the stand-ups I've ridden - Shockwave at Drayton Manor, Vortex at Carowinds, and Shockwave at KD - I liked the Togo the best. And by 'liked', I mean it was one of my surprise hit rides of the IntimidaTour.
  5. Saw Elbow last night. Amazing gig, and I thought I was a fan before - but I think I'm going to actually make the effort to get the rest of their albums as soon as I have the money. I'm that serious
  6. How I wish I could get to this. Sigh.
  7. Scritti Politti - Start Again (Live)
  8. Elbow on Tuesday, excitement! Also, my desperate hope that I'll finally see Scritti Politti is getting more and more likely.

West End: Avenue Q x7 Billy Elliot x9 Brief Encounter Evita x4 Hairspray x5 Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Legally Blonde x2 The Lion King x2 Lord of the Rings x4 (Whoo, my first word filter substitution!) Oliver! x6 Priscilla: Queen of the Desert Sister Act The Sound of Music Spamalot x2 We Will Rock You x2 Wicked x19 (Yeah, you read right! Kind of regret it now, but I was 16...and 17...and 18...) Broadway: Legally Blonde Rent Wicked x2 (However, don't regret these AT ALL, Julia Murney was amazing) Chicago: Wicked UK National Tour: Beauty and the Beast x3 Cats x5 Little Shop of Horrors Mary Poppins x4 The Sound of Music Tell Me on a Sunday The Wedding Singer We Will Rock You x2 UK Amateur: Oliver! Rent West Side Story ....yup.
  10. Just checked my Libsyn stats and discovered every episode of my podcast so far was downloaded by someone in Japan (in the Hyogo prefecture, so pretty far from the epicentre) in the last two days.
  11. The Tubes - Overture (Live)
  12. Looks like I MAY see it in during the opening months...
  13. 15/20 - about 3 or 4 were guesses, the others were Lego geekery. Perhaps unsurprisingly, my best score yet
  14. Average reaction time: 0.3306 Gender: M Time: 22 past midnight Age: 20 Video-games: Yes
  15. Miles' reaction face may be my favourite thing I've ever seen on TPR.
  16. Scritti Politti - Human Fly (Live)
  17. Took about 6 seconds altogether with my FF browser, can't remember which version I'm on but I'm pretty sure it's the most recent.
  18. ^ Happy for you, I know you've been waiting for it for ages. You KNOW I'll be at you for opinions when I see you in Japan!
  19. The Time Voyagers 4D show at Thorpe Park during the UK, only before the show rather than during. Comedy gold, the supervisor watches us, spurts us a couple of times with the backseat sprays, then turns the ridiculously powerful sprinklers on when we scream 'NO!', as he grins evilly from the control booth. Alternatively, Dudley Do-Right - I expected, and didn't get, a thorough drenching from the main drop - what took me by surprise was the soaking from the audience-operated water cannons when we were stacked before getting to unload. Clearly I naively thought people would be more conscientous in November, even though it wasn't exactly 'cold'. Wettest mistake I ever made.
  20. Reviewing my own fan audio commentary for Dumbo.
  21. Belle & Sebastian - Step Into My Office, Baby
  22. De La Soul - Eye Know (The Know It All Mix)
  23. I've so far refrained from commenting on this project, preferring to watch approvingly from the wings. But holy cats, that's looking amazing.
  24. Awesome TR A.J., and it's great to hear you've having a good time at work as well. I definitely agree about PhilharMagic, I returned to it just as 'something to do', this last trip in December, and it surprised me how much I loved it - though it doesn't beat out MuppetVision for me, it's a great attraction.
