  1. Wow - I can definitely tell a difference from the pictures, and I bet you can CERTAINLY tell a difference in how you feel. Great job! David
  2. I am SO sorry about that. I know it sucks and is very sad. My thoughts go out to you.
  3. Rock me Amadaus - Falco
  4. ^ I LIKE your hair in the second picture. It reminds me of Cruelly DeVille! Good good good.
  5. My main goals will be achieved on the Mid-West TPR trip. I'm SO FREAKING EXCITED. I'll also go to SFoG on Easter Sunday, and am planning a trip to Dollywood (my first time) sometime this spring. David
  6. It's good to see so many people interested in getting a bit more healthy. I'm still at about 30lbs loss, but I'm hoping that because I am also working out at the gym, that some of the weight on me now is muscle gain?! Great job everyone...it's easier to walk around the parks without some of the extra baggage.... David
  7. So I went and saw Primevil this weekend (or however you spell it...) This movie is NOTHING like I expected it to be. It is really a political thriller type movie with a Giant alligator munching people in it. I didn't know alligators could be serial killers. Kind of a let down. Not that it was a bad movie, but I expected to see some terrifying flick about a deranged serial killer, and instead got a giant animal on the loose flick. Can't rate it because I'm still too confused by it. David
  8. Great news that she is doing better. Please keep us updated, and I will still include you and Xena in my prayers. David
  9. Got all sorts of stuff for my new apartment in the Hood. Also got some $$ for the Midwest trip next summer. Makes paying for it a bit easier on the old wallet. Hope everyone had a Happpy Holiday's and that everyone has a safe and fun New Year. David
  10. - all about You Can't Do That on Television - that was totally one of my favorite shows. And Moose, yes - Pinwheel was on Nick. Actually, wasn't there a character on YCDToT named Moose? David
  11. 5'11" is me.
  12. That's great - good work!! Congratulations - I know how difficult it can be, but the benefits are so very rewarding. David
  13. The Pride thing is pride meaning "not ashamed" - in that matter, I am proud to be gay. I don't dance around wearing a rainbow cape, nor do I waltz through life like the Queen of Sheeba, but I am proud to be who I am and I don't hide it. Pride doesn't mean flaunting anything, but it does mean not being ashamed of being the person that I was born to be. David
  14. I was kind of suprised by the "Petrelli Bomb"part of the story line. Good move on the show's part becasue I will be thinking about that until January.
  15. ^I couldn't have said it better myself. I don't know how I feel about that whole conversaiton in school. One one hand, it is good to bring the topic out in the open. When I was in school that conversation/lesson would NEVER have happened. On the other hand, though, it sounds kind of creepy and would definitely have made me uncomfortable as a gay kid. David
  16. When Sylar "pulled" her through the window I kind of jumped, and I really wasn't expecting the whold suicide thing!! Up until that point, I never thought much about her character...then she goes and dies all nobley (sp?). I love this show and can't wait until January for it to start back up again. David
  17. ^ Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great one! I am happy that I have figured out how I am paying for the Midwest Trip next August.
  18. I thought it was cool seeing how they were before they got their powers. I also liked seeing the evolution of Sylar. I am really looking forward to next week. David
  19. Feast 8/10 Killer new offering on DVD for the Horror movie set! Hyper-gory, fast paced and Henry "FReaking" Rollins. It had some of the usual horror movie conventions - but I really enjoyed it. David "the plasma was flying" McCollum
  20. ^Has a very "high maintenance" ex < Is indeed the master of his domain V Had a sense of dejavu today
  21. I am thankful for the things that make my everyday life worth living...Family, friends, food, career. I am also thankful that I just celebrated 1 year of sobriety and with that has come some peace and hapiness. I am also thankful that I have found new outlets for meeting friends and finding entertainment online (TPR Rocks!!) Finally, I am thankful to everyone here on the forums at TPR for hours and hours of entertainment and laughs. If nobody tells you this today, YOU ALL ROCK! David "thankfully done typing this post" McCollum
  22. I get to eat like a glutton today with people that I care about - and the Gym is CLOSED!!! YAY for a day off!! david

  24. http://www.myspace.com/savannah_david It's pretty dull at the moment, but I consider it a work in progress. David
  25. What a hard choice. I had to go with the Imaculate Collection. I got the Box Set when it came out and it was WONDERFUL! I do have to say, that when I got the SEX book I was pretty pumped about it. Talk about a killer coffee table book! Madonna
