Not that I expect this park to ever happen, especially not in the proposed form we'd see here but you'd think Paramount would've learned from Son of Beast... Again, I'm not holding my breath that we'll see this concept gain any traction, but in the strange event it does, I hope that the place can find success. I do wonder though if the UK market is saturated when it comes to theme parks considering Merlin's presence alone, along with all of the smaller independent parks there. When was the last time a brand new full scale theme park even opened in the UK?

Last week I had the brief chance to stop by Downtown Disney to see the latest progress happenings along the West Side... The backside of Splitsville, formerly Virgin Megastore is still receiving minor exterior work. A patch has been made to the former hole made in the building not too long ago. New structures are being added to the building at a rapid pace. It looks like Splitsville will expand outward slightly, or at least require a little extra wiggle room to complete the building enhancements. Supports have become visible for the new roof that will cover the second floor balconies. This complex should look very different soon enough! The side of the building closest to DisneyQuest appears to be nearly complete. Major construction work on the second floor can be seen from afar. There's still plenty of work to be done, but Splitsville will surely look great when it is done! In other news, the Phineas and Ferb & You: A Brand New Reality offering is now open for guests. A look at the attraction's marquee... Guests can stand in the designated space and interact with Phineas, Ferb & Perry on screen. The concept is actually very similar to the old Dreamfinder's School of Drama located in the old Imageworks upstairs at Journey into Imagination at Epcot. It wasn't even open yet during my visit, but the attraction already had a line! The Phineas and Ferb topiary from the Flower & Garden Festival has moved to Downtown Disney to help support the temporary setup.

I wonder what a boozy splash entails... -
^While obviously this is an issue that needs to be attended to, it should be noted that SeaWorld (as a company, as well as specifically at the San Diego park) has been working with killer whales in their shows for over 47 years and this appears to be the first time a major injury has occurred from behavior like this for the whales at the park. Some things are just unpredictable, and animal aggression is certainly one of those things. SeaWorld shouldn't be blamed for this situation no more than they should be blamed for it raining occasionally. Some things in nature just happen, and there's nothing you can do to prevent or prepare for it.

I love that this ride has on-board audio synced to the action of the ride. Toverland has always intrigued me for its ability to seemingly spring up out of nowhere and consistently be able to add major new attractions over the years. I'm really dying to get to the park and would certainly be willing to go out of my way to visit if I were doing a Europe trip. -

I'm no engineer (and I don't know how to build coasters in MS Paint) but I'd say that that structure looks like it is about to fall over.
