The most fun thing here on TPR is that you don't know if that guy with that username is black or hispanic or white. And see: there's no racism at all here. We're all happily and peacefully posting our stuff here togheter; noone is there to judge you on your appearance since they don't know it. And it works fine Regarding the racism and english speaking: I know I don't speak English like the best, but at least I'm trying to be somewhat correct and understandable. It's not that people who don't speak/write english correct do this because they want to. Learning English is often difficult, esspacially since I also have to learn Dutch, French and some German. Not to mention I'll be learning Japanese as a fifth language.

Okay I got some last questions before I deceide to go or not (I admit, I'm a control freak ) -Do they have McFlurrys in the US? -If I pay this first deposit using Paypall I have to pay 205$? (I'm not stupid, just non-english speaking) -I never travelled so far by plane alone and I have to switch planes in Chicago. I did travel by plane alot, but always with my parents. Is it difficult to switch in Chicago? Is that a big airport and do you get lost easily there? -I have exact 45 min. between my arrival from Brussels and departure to Cincinnati. You guys think I can make that? -Does your english has to be really good to travel to and within the US? -Does anyone perhaps know a cheap airline between brussels and cincinnati? Right now I only know SNBrussels Airlines that fly between these cities. Anyone know another? Thanks for looking!

In Belgium the racist feelings exist without doubt. Due to not want to do the dirty work, we belgians "imported" alot of turkish and marrocan people to work in the mines. Now that the mines are closed, alot of these coloured people don't return to there country since they built a house here etc. Belgians now see them as a thread because they reproduce themselfs much faster, and they let relatives from their nativecountry fly over etc. A couple of months ago, a belgian youngster was stabbed to death for his MP3 player. That caused alot of uproar in Belgian, and racist feelings were enhanced. Now alot of incidents have happened: shooting a black nanny (and the white child she was taking care of), punching a black man in the hospital etc. Now alot of coloured people starve themselfs to death as a political weapon to get a legal pasport. Alot of Belgians are against this, so the racist feelings are fed again. I don't want to say Belgium is a very racist country, but the problem exists without a doubt, and it has been escalating the past months.

So I wouldn't say racism doesn't exist in Europe It's really not fun to hear... But that discussion is for a different thread

The point is that I did try to find that site but I just couldn't so I just upload the video I had on my computer. I don't think I need to prove myself as a SD2K fan, alot of people here don't see me as 'a regular fan' , but that's not the point actually

^Sorry I don't know how to do that... Regarding the onride: after watching this one and the one of MF, don't you have the feeling the drop of SD2K lasts much longer? It just keeps going while the one of MF appears to be over fairly quick. But that's probably because MF's is much steeper. Anyway I'm really glad SD2K reopens. It would be a real shame if we lost such a big coaster since there aren't many giga's in the world

What I think is also a cause of this "transport ride-breakdown" is that trains and monorails are pretty useless these days. One of their original purposes was to take people through the park since rides were scarce and often far away from eachother. But now that most parks are full with rides, you just enter the park, walk 10m to the first ride, 10 to the next etc. Nobody want to ride a slow train unless you're really tired.

Why can't we have big coasters in Belgium?

^I don't hate Calamity Mine's track, I just hate the roughness. The ride itself is fun but just not enjoyable due to those badly designed trains. But I absolutely HATE Cobra because it doesn't do much IMO and the boomerang element is kinda painfull. I also think the train of Cobra are not very comfortable (small, not many legroom and bad seating) The kiddie credit: the operator was a young woman with glasses and blonde hair. Sorry but I don't remeber her name. She even said thank you when I said I'd like to ride it because there was just noone there and she was happy to see someone. Friendly woman. I have got to remeber that! Never thought Walibi could be so obnoxious
