  1. Well i haven't rode it yet (how could I anyway) but based on the pov, Steel Dragon 2000 has 2 pretty cool tunnels
  2. And it has such a high capacity! You just keep walking in the qeue line. I just love that ride
  3. Well if you can delay your trip to july, then you can experience the worlds highest suspended rollercoaster on EARTH: Vertigo at Walibi Belgium. The vertical lift of Vertigo
  4. Mine would have to be Dalton Terror @ Walibi Belgium
  5. Well here's a article from another newspaper. The plan was also on television. The reason why the plans are so simple is 1)because they haven't got a exact location for the resort and 2) it isn't the official plan, but just a quick copy of it made by Themeparkvision to post it on their website. Making expensive concept-arts would be a stupid idea in this fase according to the builders. The resort will cost 3,5 billion dollars and will feature a theme park, water park, nature park, indoor ski slope, a centre for companies and a area to live. The builders hope to know the location in May 2006.
  6. Thanks for the response! I've deceided to study japanology at university. I'll get 12 hours of japanese a week, and I can go study one year in Japan (if I want to, still doubting) so I'll master the language (hope so). For now I'm hoping Nagashima Spa land reopens Steel Dragon 2000. See ya
  7. I haven't got a scanner, but I here's the link to our Belgian rollercoaster site (in dutch) http://www.tpv.be/Info/Infocus/Nieuwtjes2006/Belgie/HNLinvest2006_NL.asp
  8. Steel Dragon 2000 is definetely one of my favourite coasters. I'll cry for months if it gets scrapped
  9. No it's from the Belgian site of Themeparkvision. Anyway, the article was on april 20 in the newspaper.
  10. Yeah I know it's a little crazy, but I have no other option (Can't wait to study japanology and be able to study a year in the supercool Japan)
  11. Yeah that's true. (know that here in Belgium we speak dutch but we aren't dutch ) Notice that somewhere on the plan it says GIB. Could it be true? I still can't believe it! Hope this project ins't going to get cancelled
  12. There's only one true coaster for me (but it's future is uncertain )
  13. Thanks for the reaction. I saw Rollermonkey is from japan but I actually ask this question to all people who learn(ed) japanese.
  14. I saw this article in the newspaper today about a new themepark/waterpark/zoo that H&L Invest want's to built here in Belgium. It should be built by 2012. What really drew my attention was that this new park (with the name Family Entertainment Resort) will feature a Intamin rocket coaster and that B&M and Vekoma are called in for some other rides. Is this really happening??? The final decision were it will be built will be announced in july This is the plan
  15. Quickly a off-topic question for rollermonkey : I'm considering to study Japanology next year at the university of Louvain. But is japanese a difficult language to learn??? I really want to study it but maybe it's too difficult. See ya all
  16. Yeah but going on saturday means that I've got to get the train of 22.16, so I won't be able to enjoy the show. I also hope their will be fewer people on friday. Thanks for the tips!
  17. Hello fellow themepark ethusiasts I was just wondering what kind of rides their are in Nagashima Spa Land (other than the very cool Steel Dragon 2000). What kind of theming is there? And how to get there (is there a train station etc.)
  18. I sincerly hope Stuntfall isn't closed when I go... Since the last train goes back at 22.16, I've deceided to go on friday august 18th. Hope it isn't too hot then though... Thanks for your answers guys and HASTA LUEGO
  19. Hi all A question for my spanish amigos (and all others who've been to the park) I can't deceide wether to go on a friday or saturday to the park. Does it make a difference in qeue lenght??? It's open 'till 24 hours on saturday but is there a train back to Madrid at that hour??? Also, is Stuntfall broken often? I often hear it is but I don't want to miss it when I'm there. Thanks very much (Spain rocks!)
  20. Please don't shoot me for this but I don't know what a fastpass is! How does it work in Parque Warner???
  21. Hi all I'm going to Parque Warner (the park formerly known as Warner Bros. Movie World Madrid) this summer Do you guys have tips, hints, videos or just some interesting facts, please let me know.
  22. Well they couldn't push the train of Turbine (aka Sirocco) because the hydraulic device they used wasn't powerfull enough. It toke more than an hour to find a correct tool. Great coaster though
