Also saw this news on tv. Really sad to know that modern technology still can't garantee to be accident free...
I didn't even know they had a monorail in Germany!
Yes it is the heighest coaster ever built by B&M altough Nitro is faster (80mph <=> 78.9mph)

The view going up is amazing! You get to see the flat land of Baden Wurttemberg with all it's little villages scattered across the land. In the distance are the hills of the Black Forest. Too bad you don't see anything of the park.
Alot of people also complain that SS is an parking lot coaster, but I'm not bothered by that. The fact that everything around SS is flat (parking) even makes it look bigger and deeper.
The very first time (front row) I wasn't scared, I was just soo excited to finally ride Europe's highest coaster and it truly was a great experience.
^Ooh well SLC aren't that bad. The first drop is fun (I really like that flat track after the first drop and before the roll over). The inversions are also fun, with the footchopping first in-line twist as one of the best. The only thing I don't like about SLC is that they're SOMETIMES rough and that they're too short!
SLC's aren't that bad
Lol I once stood in line for Turbine (shuttle loop) at WB and there was this guy who told me this ride had no looping. I said it did and we argued a bit. Still determined he was right, the guy got on board and I loved the way he looked at me when he got out. That's something I'll never forget
Accually it is not, it is Rotunda, a now defunct park tat Robb and ELissa visited, but still, I don't care really. BTW to all, make sure the person who gets it correct gets to post a picture.
Oops sorry it just really really looks like Mustafa Slide at Pleasureland Southport so I assumed it was that one
