I like the sfdl viper..... i dont think itd rough at all.. cp's magnum hurt me worst then any viper..

I asked some guy if they had been to Cedar Point before because I wanted adivce ,and he was like "That park sucks, it has like no roller coasters or any rides"... ... hes obviosly never been there either..

Well today was my first visit to Cedar Point, and well.. The weather was very nice, I am sunburned, and it only sprinkled maybe 2 times. Wicked Twister was shut down but it opened when I was right by it , so that was the first coaster i got on. .. and I LOVED IT!!... its a very smooth, fast coaster. Next I headed to Dragster, and it had been running fine all morning but around noon ... surprise, surprise... .. it started launching slow and there was a rollback :shock: .. after that it launched a few more times, broke down again , then finally closed.. and the line was long so i never got on it Millennium Force was shut down untill about 2pm, but they did eventually get one vehicle working, however the coaster ran with just one , and that made the lines huge!.. And it was still having problems with getting stuck on the lift hill, so It was closing like every 10 minutes.. so i never got a chance to get on it.. because i was in the back of the line. Raptor is one of the best inverts ive ever been on... Mantis is ok, but it is a little uncomfortable. MAXAIR IS GREAT!... A rush of air, and some great views looking straight down !... ...I really enjoyed that ride.!!...its a must!! Everytime Magnum hit airtime, the lapbar killed my legs and some other important parts..and it also get very rough at times. Cedar Point is a very nice park, and very photogenic.. however I took pictures with my cell phone and they are not the best so I wont post them. Ps. TTD seems alot smaller in real life, and so does MF

Visitors to Six Flags AstroWorld were stranded on two of the amusement park's more exciting rides Saturday, due to a 45-minute power failure. Although "most of the rides were over" around 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Six Flags park personnel had to rescue riders on the Texas Cyclone and the Serial Thriller. "Those two evacuations were successful," said Six Flags spokeswoman Donna Jendritza. "These are rides that we operate safely every day. But yes, they are two of our major roller coasters in the park." Jendritza said that riders on the Texas Cyclone had just begun the ascent "before the first drop" on the roller coaster when the power went out. Those riders were escorted down a staircase by Six Flags personnel, she said. The riders on the Serial Thriller were "nearly at the station" when the power failure happened, Jendritza said. "We had no injuries or incidents," Jendritza said. "Those who were in the park during the power failure did receive a rain check to come visit again, for their inconvenience. We invited everyone to come back again." Jendritza said employees who work on the rides at all Six Flags parks "receive extensive training" about evacuating patrons on stuck rides. "Everyone is trained to do these types of things. And all guests who were in the park were made comfortable during the power outtage," Jendritza said. Guests were offered water, she said. About 5,000 customers of CenterPoint Energy, including Six Flags AstroWorld, were left without power beginning at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, said Stacey Williams, a spokeswoman for the electric company. "We had an equipment failure at one of our substations that affected two transformers," Williams said. Crews from CenterPoint fixed the problem within about 30 minutes, Williams said.

My first roller coaster was the Viper at SFDL....and for years I would go on every coaster but I always was a wimp when it came to the Superman.. but then I finally got on it when I was 13 and Its one of my favorite coasters now.. and on the 27th I will be going on MForce and Dragster.. :shock: for the first time..

Im so happy to be going to this park.. Im gonna run to Maxair.. after I run to Dragster ...

Im looking for around 30.. CP will give me like 14. then the six flags in ohio and sfdl, and maybe sfga and sfne

It was just a general statement.. "you cant always be the best". I didnt mean they were the best..

Probably just testing the ride.. just like how Kingda Ka was getting launched at low speed and doing roll backs...

Do you think coasters getting copied and rebuilt over and over again is a good thing? IMO.... I hate it! Now if you change the design thats fine, for example the "Superman" brand has many different coasters, and thats a good thing.. However, Kingda Ka.. umm.. no thanks! .. lets rename it to .. " I look like Dragster with a hill at the end and Im green" Whats next?.. well probably " I look like Millennium Force but Im 10 feet higher and I have a hot pink track." So what do you think? Can you get a registered trademark for a coaster, or coaster technology so it wont be cloned? Oh and also I think Six Flags should keep every park unique. Instead of Boomerangs, Mind Erasers, and Vipers ..galore!!

IMO.. best "amusment park" goes to Cedar Fair.. and i dont know about IOA because Ive never been there.. and "theme parks" arent my thing.

Obviously Six Flags because there are so many of them... though Cedar is a good one to.

Superman:ROS at SFDL & SFNE.. also Nitro was fun.. however the supermans seem to be my favorite coaster..
