I suppose. Not a major fan, but there are a couple good Classical Pieces. So technically true. The person below me has over 1000 songs in their Itunes Library.

Top 5 Worst Standard 689m SLCs
XII replied to thoe124's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've been on 8 Standard SLCs, and this is how I'd rank them. 8. Kong @ SFDK - AWFUL!!! Easily the worst SLC I've been on and possibly one of my least favorite coasters ever. Just...OUCH!!! 7. Top Gun @ Canada's Wonderland - Not quite as bad as Kong, but still a very rough and painful SLC. 6. Ednor @ La Ronde - Terrible. 5. Mind Eraser @ Elitch Gardens - Wasn't really painful since there wasn't much headbanging, but it was still rough and felt bouncy (not in a good way) in a lot of places. Almost like it was made of chewing gum and rubber bands. 4. Limit @ Heide Park - Mediocre. 3. MP Express @ Movie Park Germany - Also Mediocre. 2. Mind Eraser @ Six Flags New England - Hmm, not painful. I'd dare say that I almost cracked a smile at one point. 1. Thunderhawk @ Geauga Lake & Michigan's Adventure - Rode this in both locations and this is easily my favorite SLC. It's currently the only SLC I've ridden where I got off and said "That was fun. I want to ride again." Counting non-standard SLCs, I've ridden Blue Tornado @ Gardaland, which has a bonus helix. It's also mediocre and the bonus helix is worthless. -

Bad coasters that have a glimmer of hope
XII replied to fraroc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Manhattan Express. I genuinely believe that if it ran with only lap bars, it'd be a decent ride. I know that the Premier Spaghetti Bowls were hated until the OTSRs were removed and replaced with lap bars only. I feel the same would happen with Manhattan Express as when I rode it, the main problem were those HORRIBLE restraints that were placed right against your neck, causing neckbanging. Other than that, it seemed like had a decent layout that I'd enjoy if it didn't hurt so much. -
What park have you been to the most?
XII replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Easily Six Flags Magic Mountain. I've been there WAY too many times to count over the years, and that's not even counting all the days I was there when I worked there for 2.5 years. -
Never. We don't get tornados here. When was the last time you flew on an airplane?

Definitely meat. So many different ways to cook it and enjoy it, though I do admit that I enjoy all the categories posted.

1. Phantom's Revenge - This ride is amazing. It's got a unique layout, uses its terrain brilliantly, and is an absolute airtime machine. Still in my Top 10. 2. Steel Eel - It may be small, but it's still a really fun hyper coaster, with a cool mixture of floater air and ejector air. 3. (Tie) Steel Force, Mamba, & Wild Thing - They're fun. Not much else to say.

Kevin's Adventures of 2014 (with TPRs Scandi Trip)
XII replied to XII's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
All right. Time for another update on the TPR Scandinavia Trip. This time, we're at one of the most famous parks in the world and a personal favorite of mine, Tivoli Gardens. The place that inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland, and yeah. You can totally see that in this park. Located smack dab in the heart of Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens doesn't really act like most other theme parks with a bunch of rides being the main focus. Tivoli Gardens tends to have this atmosphere where you just go at your own pace and just relax. There are little touches are pieces of charm all around the park. The kind of place where you can just go relax and have fun. But of course, there are also a lot of really good rides in the park, all beautifully themed and blending in perfectly. Daemonen - A very interesting B&M Floorless Coaster. The best way for me to describe this ride, is that it's kind of like the floorless version of Great Bear @ Hersheypark. Except Daemon is much prettier with a beautiful view of Copenhagen, and Daemonen is much shorter, with the brake run being right where the pointless random straight track begins on Great Bear. So on the downside, its a really short ride, but at least it doesn't waste your time. Rutschebahn - Unlike the one at Bakken, this Scenic Railway still has its brakeman. And it REALLY makes a big difference. This scenic railway has a lot of pops of good airtime and is just a really fun ride. It's also got a lot of great theming that just really adds so much to the ride. And I'm not even getting into all the perspective we got from our backstage tour and the incredible history behind this ride (I'll discuss that down below in the captions). Just an overall great ride. So definetly take a visit to Tivoli Gardens when you're visiting Copenhagen. It's a beautiful theme park with great rides, a nice variety, and if you're traveling with someone who's not into theme parks, Tivoli Gardens is still easy to go to as its a hot tourist spot with easy access right in the middle of Copenhagen and plenty of stuff for everyone. Now, onto the photos. Today was a very relaxing day on the tour as our park is just right smack dab in the middle of Copenhagen within walking distance of our hotel. If you need to find Tivoli Gardens, it's right by Scandinavian Airlines Headquarters (Great Airline BTW). And good news for us in that not only is Tivoli Gardens close and easy to get to, but its also one of the best and prettiest theme parks I've been to. First things first. Lets start out this ERT with some rides on Daemonen. Yeah. This is how ERT should be. Daemonen is definetly one of the more interseting B&M Floorless Coasters without a doubt. Love the view you get from Daemonen. Its a fun little B&M with some good forces all throughout the ride. The only problem I have with the ride is that it's short. Really freaking short. But hey. I still like it. All right. Now lets move onto the Rutschebanen here at Tivoli Gardens. Another one of those Classic Scenic Railways. Screw having regular old ERT!! Lets start off with a backstage tour!!! "Sorry. But before we give you guys any more privelages, you're gonna have to pay us by washing all of our dishes. Thank you." Stop!! Photo Op in the Train!! The Scenic Railway here used to go through a naked woman like the one at Bakken, but sadly they got rid of her. Quick History lesson on this ride. There's a lot of cool history to this ride, but by the coolest thing was that this ride was bombed by the nazis in World War II. Yes, you read that right. This ride was BOMBED by NAZIS. And its still running today. What's your excuse now Six Flags Magic Mountain? Ok. Another quick history fact that I have to mention. Tivoli Gardens just brought back the mountains on the ride. They were removed sometime in the 1920s (I think. Don't quote me on that!! I could be wrong!!!) because the city of Copenhagen thought they were an eye sore. They wanted Copenhagen to be a very serious city and how serious can you be with mountains on a roller coaster being the first thing you see getting off the train. Glad to see Copenhagen be much more open to fun. Oh gee. We're in the middle of the roller coaster. How will we ever get down? Yep. We got down via roller coaster!! This ended up being a lights on ride for us, so we could see just how narrow those tunnels actually are. Never in America. Remember everyone. Standing up in the cars is strictly forbidden. "Screw you!! We run this ride!! We can do whatever the hell we want!!" And of course, we got some complete rides on Rutschebanen to avoid the "Does it count as a credit if you only ride half the ride?" question. High five with caution you guys. This one, unlike the Bakken one, still has the brakeman, which really gives it some good airtime. Well, ERT is over. Lets move on and get to one of the lowest capacity cool flat rides in the park. Vertigo. Vertigo, while not quite as intense as it looks, is still a really good flat ride. Yes. You really are flipping at this point of the ride. Just one last credit for us to get at Tivoli Gardens. This ride is proudly sponsered by Camel. The animal, not the cigarette company. Tivoli Gardens has got to be one of the most beautiful parks in the world. Oh crap. There's a pseudo-credit for the super whores to get. Hey, it may not count as a credit, but I really enjoyed the ride. Why are good psuedo-credits strictly a European thing? Hey, I got an idea. Lets go ride the Hans Christian Anderson Dark Ride. Hmm. What's the difference between Hans Christan Anderson Ariel and Disney Ariel? I better look closer and see. And here's Elsa from the Snow Queen (Frozen). Please don't let there be a sh*tty Let It Go cover in here. There you go. Here's a future movie for you Disney. All right. Lets try out Danish Fast Food for lunch. Not bad. But overall, nothing special. Hmm. Recycle my cup and get 5 kroner in return. Deal (Dear U.S Parks, ADOPT THIS IDEA!!!!!)!! Bravo. Nobody cares. I just love walking around Tivoli Gardens. Again, I love Europe. I heard good things about the fun house in Tivoli Gardens. Lets check it out. Come on man. The bridge won't collapse. *whisper* Start filming now *whisper*. Don't worry about the bridge. It'll go down on its own. Don't kill yourself on the slide Nolan. Fun little fact about Daemonen. This is the only B&M we'll be riding on the trip. Of course, it wouldn't be a popular tourist stop in Copenhagen without tacky tourist merchandise. Hey Alisa. Look what I found at Tivoli Gardens. I always enjoyed the regular magic carpets, so I imagine an inverted one would be fun. In case you want to know what kind of fish you're making fat by feeding it. Don't even think about stealing my eggs. I'm watching you. Warning. Man-eating clams can be found at Tivoli Gardens. Meh, at least they only got Shirley. Good job asshole. You feed the fish and now they're puking up yolks. I'll take the Screw Set thank you very much. For those in the area, they frequently have shows at Tivoli Gardens. Brooke's favorite painting in all of Tivoli Gardens. I regret not trying Champagne flavored Ice Cream when I was in Denmark. Ooh. Look at the pretty park merchandise. Hi there random cat. What are you doing in Tivoli Gardens? Hey. I'm here. Why not check out the Art Museum within the park. TAKE THE TUNNEL!!! I've been to Copenhagen and I can prove it!!! Look at my crappy notebook!!! Just in case you forgot where we are. Because I have not been to nearly enough Hard Rock Cafes, I have to go to the Copenhagen one as well. Actually, the food here was better than I remember. Not bad. I'm sure you all know what a female peacock is called. Oh no!! Someone is drinking alcohol in the park!!! The horrors!! All right. Next up is the parks Starflyer. Quick physics tip here. Zippered pockets don't just explode for no reason. Just wanted to let you know. This park doesn't just have an Air Race, but is EXTREMELY pretty!!! Love how this park can take modern great flat rides like this and incorporate them into the park so flawlessly. Love just how crazy the programs can get on these rides. I love little touches like this. Really wish that other parks put this much attention to detail in things that other parks just glance over such as the stair handrails. Oh hell yes!! I am so checking out their shooting dark ride!! Why am I shooting at a giant pig in a ride themed to mining? The bad news. I STILL suck at shooting dark rides. The good news. I didn't get last place!! Not sure if this is a show or what? I just know that it looks cool. BEST BUMPER CARS EVER!!! Not only do they have no stupid rules on bumping, but they have fiberglass so its a STRONG impact!! Apparently, you used to be able to shoot people on the ride while bumping them. Bummer that it doesn't work, but I don't mind since these are the best bumper cars ever. Once you feed the fish, it starts with them puking yolks. And now they can freaking fly!!! Dammit!!! No need to worry. They only closed off the front temporarily so that a special group can ride there. We had to ride Daemonen at night (well, as night as it gets in Copenhagen). We just had to. Random ride on the Space Shot. Sweet!! No line for Vertigo!! Didn't think I'd be getting a re-ride on this. Getting myself a spot to watch the Lights of Tivoli. Love this shot of Daemon with the lights of Tivoli. Sweet. Now we can watch the Lights of Tivoli. Yes, I know that all of Tivoli lights up and sparkles at night time so beautifully, but the park does have a light show right after it closes to show off its beauty. And yeah. It's just stunningly beautiful. I loved Tivoli Gardens and look foreword to coming back next time I'm in Copenhagen. Thanks for reading and please leave any comments you may have. Bon Bon Land Photos will be up soon. -

So what were the best new coasters of 2014?
XII replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've only been on two of the new 2014 coasters. This is how I'd rank them. 1. Helix @ Liseberg - Helix was certainly a very fun ride, or as I like to call it, Variety: The Ride. I think Helix deserves an award for having the most variety on any coaster in the world. It has EVERYTHING. Drop out of the station, launch, airtime, hangtime, laterals, positive Gs, out of control feelings, enough inversions to where I stopped counting, and on top of all that, it's a LONG ride. I seriously think Helix is up there as one of the longest coasters (time wise, not counting lifthills, brake runs, or boring bits) in the world. I remember hearing the park representitives talk about how Helix wasn't meant to be the most intense coaster out there, but the best coaster they could possibly design, to maximize fun and not be too intense so people could ride it over and over and over again, and honestly, that's EXACTLY how I thought of the ride. None of the individual elements on Helix are amazing or anything. It's airtime is fun in some spots, but it's not like a Mega Lite or anything, the inversions are fun, but not the best, and the launches are definitely on the weak side. However, it's just a ton of fun to ride. It's like the sample platter of roller coasters. It does everything and is just a fun ride to have a good time on. 2. El Loco @ Adventuredome - I was really surprised by this. I was just expecting this to be a more compact version of Steel Hawg. WRONG!!! This just seemed much faster than Steel Hawg. I didn't think the lack of a brake on the first drop could make such a good difference. And I much prefer the trick track and dive loop into the brakes over the downward inline twist and turnaround. Thumbs up from me. EDIT: 3. Speedy Gonzalas' Hot Rod Racers @ Six Flags Magic Mountain - I literally forgot about this ride until I heard other people in the thread mentioning it. A worthless kiddy coaster that SFMM doesn't need and now that I have the credit, I will never ever ride it again.
