  1. Corkscrews are great, especially if you speed through them!!! Someone mentioned that the straights bits on Shockwave and the Ultimate are outdated...............When were they ever in-dated???????? And the Ultimate was designed by British Rail, so what would you expect!!! I dont like short Intamin Accelerator coasters, there boring, they need a long one, that doesnt loose speed, like Rita but bigger, much bigger and faster!!!
  2. Big Thunder Mountain at DLP really is the best themed coaster ever!! So in a way it should be ranked as one of the best coasters in the world!!!
  3. I visited AT last september and 'dont look down' was played when i went on oblvion!
  4. This is really horrible: Old photo: http://www.rcdb.com/ig808.htm?picture=11 New photo: http://www.rcdb.com/ig808.htm?picture=20 The only difference is they painted the train and the loops yellow, the rest of the track is just made from scaffolding! which they didnt bother to paint!
  5. Is it: Height Speed Amount of Inversions Types of Inversions Drop Type of train Airtime + G's - G's If you could take any parts from any type of coaster from all over the world and gel them togerther what would they be? E.G. Sheikra's drop with Balder's airtime and Colossus' quad Inline twists
  6. What were they thinking: http://www.rcdb.com/ig784.htm?picture=2
  7. My biggest fear is being stopped at the trim/block brakes, midway through the ride or at the end! Mainly because i was on space mountain at DLP and the train stopped at the brakes at the end (electrovelociter thingy) and the train was there for about 5 minutes and i could hear the other train getting closer and closer!!!
  8. X:/NWO is the worst coaster ive ever been on!!! But Space Invader 2 at BPB is great fun!!!
  9. Like I said, 'Apparantly' its been removed! I heard off of some websites! It does have a large exit
  10. Well the Building is still standing but apparantly the ride has been completely removed! To be honest its nothing special, its just a Jet Star and it everytime I went to Alton Towers there was always at least a 45 minute que!
  11. I though it still had the 'dont look down' voice at the top of the drop, i heard when i went last year! I thought the Ropers were unhappy with the screams! Which brings me on to another point, the Clyclone (enterprise) at Drayton Manor was removed due to noise, will this happen to the enterprise at AT? Which is located in X-Sector, where apparantly all the noise is coming from!
  12. You can't explain your Disney LP experience , you just have to go yourself! Everything about it is Amazing!
  13. You can go to the Stealth mini site and win tickets to ride Stealth beofre anyone else! and I have an annuall pass, and from what I know, Thorpe Parl doesn't open a day early for AP holders!
  14. If you have been to DLP and been on the Disneyland Railroad, you would have noticed when going through the back of Adventure land that betweent Idiana Jones and Pirates OTC, there is a large empty space, it is rumoured that Splash Mountain will be appearing in this space, but thats seems silly building another water ride next to POTC!
  15. An Inverted, Spinning, Vertical, Looping....................Log Flume!!! But seriously Ive always imagined what it would be like to go on an Inverted coaster with normal train, i.e. you go up the lifthill upside down
  16. These dive machines are awesome! The tension on Oblivion is brilliant (its the only ride in the world where que line videos that tell you that you might DIE whilst riding) There is actually a queline video for Oblivion that was never used, it can be found at www.towerstimes.co.uk , its like a news report on Oblivion when one of the rains derailed in the tunnel and everyone died! I think its obvious why they didn't use this! Anyway the adrenaline rush you get on these coasters is amazing! Sheikra is great fun but the tension building on Oblivion is greater, people moan that its too short but everytime ive been on it, as soon as you hit the brakes you are buzzin like mad and so is everyone else!
  17. I wouldn't have bought RCT if I didn't like theme parks, so I can't say it did it for me, I already loved them! But hey, with RCT my imagination has stretched beyond the limit! I get a bit carried away sometimes, say Im building a Mine Train coaster and before I know it Ive been building it for 20 (RCT) years, thats like a whole day!!!! Also from the original RCT, can anyone remember the crazy spinning trains you could get on the Junior coaster? Is there a real coaster that has them trains?
  18. WOW, that was harsh!! Poor old Walt Disney Studios!! I must admit the GIANT Chicken Little banner over the entrance was a bit over the top! (i visited 8-13 jan) I stayed in Disney's Sequoia Lodge, which when its freezing cold is the coziest hotel there!!and the beds are orgasmic!! Without a doubt i have the best nights sleep at Disney!! Any way the studios park isnt that bad!!!the Rock 'N' Rollercoaster is great ,the (if you can call it that) themeing inside the ride is brilliant, when your on a fast coaster which also has fast paceing rock 'n roll music blasting in your ear drums all you need is some flashing lights and smoke machines, it all works fantasticly, and i dont know if you noticed it but the RNR slows down alot towards the end but the music and lights make it seem faster than it actually is! during my trip there was 2-3 train on the RNR every day but did you notice the train with the Mickey and Minnie tied into it? I tried to avoid this train as the music on it isnt very good! I am surprised that you didnt like the stunt show as everyone seems to like it, even Rob & Elissa said it was the best stunt show ever! but its horrible to watch when its cold coz you freeze to death as your sitting still for 45 mins!!! Its great but its one of the many rides in the studios that you can only go on once through out your whole trip!! Animagique & Cinemagique are brill, you really shoudnt have missed these, especially Animagique!!! These are shows you can watch more than once on your trip!! the Studio Tram Tour is pretty poor but its made up for that by the Catastrophe Canyon!!!! This is a ride you can only do once on your trip really! Art of Disney Animation was cool, my girlfriend especially loved it as you can learn to draw Disney caracters at the end, in the interactive area! If it wasnt for the RNR this park would be naf, and Disney know that, thats why their building the Tower of Terror and the Toon Studios! Now on to the real Disney park, now ive only been america once and i only went to the magic kingdom at WDW and Sea World but the Disneyland Park at Paris blows the Magic Kingdom at WDW away, its amazing, the attention to detail on everything is brilliant! Big Thunder Mountain without a doubt the best themed coaster in the world, the best Thunder Mountain in the world, which has to make it one of the best coasters in the world! The only bad point is the noise it make when its going up the lift hills, but i think thats all part of the mine train experience! The staff also play a big part in this ride, its amazing how friendly the staff can be! Space Mountain was one of my favourite rides untill they changed it to Space Mountain Mission 2 and now its definetly one of my top 5 coasters! Everything about itis awsome! IMO its Vekoma's best coaster! The only bad point is after the first inversion there is a really rickety bit, but that is no way guna spoil the ride, its brilliant in every aspect, it is the most intense Disney ride there is, and there is no way that any other Space Mountain can be compared to this one! Any way IMO this Disney park is one of the best theme parks ever. It is the best THEMED park ever without a doubt! Everything about this park is perfect, for starters it does have the best looking castle (especially at christmas, you really soud try and find a pic of it, its beautiful). The attention to detail of every little bit of themeing is amazing! you have to visit this park to understand what im saying!!!!!!!!!

  20. Without a doubt, Valhalla at BPB, well £15million spent on fire, ice, wind, water and snow! (and the largest backward drop Ive ever been on! It didn't win the best dark ride in the world for no reason![/url]
  21. I cant really say a bad word about Vekoma's as I haven't been on many but the one's I have been on are great:- Rock 'N' Rollercoaster DLP Space Mountain: Mission 2 DLP Jubilee Odyessy (pic on page 1) Fantasy Island Millenium Coaster: Fantasy Island (ok this one isnt the best but its very smooth) Missile & Boomerang (ok these arnet great either but there is only 2 of them in Great Britain & they are both in very small parks, so they fit very well) Overall I don't mind a bit of roughness coz it ads to the coaster experience, but then again I NEVER have my head in the head rest on any ride!
  22. Yeah I do know how many visitors it gets, I visit BPB 3 times a year and it would be nice to go on something new!
  23. You really don't think BPB needs any new rides? When was there last rollercoaster built? A. 1994 How many new rides have they had since 1994? A. 3, Spin Doctor, Valhalla & Bling. Thats 3 new rides in 12 years!! Alright there is loads to do there but it is time for a new ride!! In saying that they are getting a watercoaster for 2007 (replacing log flume) I personally would like to see a new coaster where the go-karts are, like a Maurer Söhne spinning coaster (spinball whizzer dragons fury!)
  24. When Pepsi Max opened it was the tallest and fastest coaster in the world! and knowone said that building a coaster going onto the ocean was a first! they wanted the worlds tallest and fastest coaster which was rumourd to be launched out of the park over the road and out to sea!!!
