What's your favourite pie?
Sir Clinksalot replied to Sir Clinksalot's topic in Random, Random, Random
^^ Pork pie is really nice! The pastry is really hard and the inside tastes kinda like erm, well, pork! We have one in our fridge all the time cos Simon really loves them. (I do too!) I have been known to eat sliced pork pie sandwiches. (which is maybe a little strange) The Boston Creme Pie sounds YUMMY! (But I am a diabetic) -
LMFAO!!! That's a good one!!!

We go to Costco every 2 weeks. But we will make random trips to the Grocery Store. We have 4 people in the house, so we eat alot of food. Oh, and Eric. It was the corner of Adolfo and Mission Oaks.

^ Don't worry. We already made sure Richmond had one before we even thought about a move there. -
Mine was easy since it was already posted in the Costco TR thread:

Am I the only one who has never changed their Custom user title? I didn't even come up with mine, you can thank Robb for it.

Questions for anyone in the Virginia area...
Sir Clinksalot replied to Sir Clinksalot's topic in Random, Random, Random
It looks like we will be in VA the weekend of Sept. 23 - 25. Getting into Baltimore at 2am (ugh) on the 23rd. I found flights on Southwest for $202. What would be the best option? Driving to Richmond when we land or getting a hotel in Baltimore and making the drive on Friday morning. I'm thinking at 2am we will avoid ALOT of the traffic and be able to make it to Richmond rather quickly. So I think the plan is Friday we will cruise Richmond, check out the Blue Cross there and then do Howl O Scream at BGW that night. (need something to do that night) Saturday all day will be Richmond stuff, scanning the town, etc. Then drive into Baltimore on Saturday night. That will pretty much give us 2 full days for checking out Richmond and the areas around where Blue Cross is. Then Sunday we will go to SFA. Our flights leave BWI at 6:00pm. So now we just need some help with Hotels and stuff. Any suggestions? I guess I can look on my Corporate Website and see what hotels people who travel to the Blue Cross in Richmond stay at. -

Awesome!! Can't wait to check out some of your videos as well. I also see you have some No Limits stuff on your site. The screen shots looked very good. I will check some of those out as well. -
Nope, it works fine and doesn't make the game any more or less unstable. It was just a tool that frontier didn't quite get to finish hence having to click the right-hand side of buttons rather than the buttons themselves. It's quite easy to get used to. If those sites I pointed to don't explain it well enough, I'll try to knock up a little tutorial for you.

Every other Tuesday is our Costco day. Why? Who the hell knows. It's just always been that way. It's nice because it's never busy. We left the house at about 9:45 so we could be at Costco right at 10:00. Walked in, did some shopping, bought some stuff. Walked past the DVD isle and saw they had The Jerk for only $11.99. Couldn't pass that up. GREATEST MOVIE EVER!!! We got some water (2 cases) some lettuce, pot roast, Hamburger (we already had Chicken from our last trip), Diet Snapple, Cheeze-It's, Eggs, Milk, Cheese, Macadamia Nuts, Pancake mix, Dentyne Fire gum, some taquito things, Peanuts (for the squirrels) and The Jerk. When we left Costco we decided to get some Costco gas, well, because it's cheaper right now. Filled up for $25 (the light had come on during our trip to Costco). I didn't take the camera into Costco because, well, that would have been weird. Overall we had a totally awesome time. Here are some pics: Post insertion ... Our refridgerator before the Costco get's inserted I'm a good Trunk Stuffer ... We arrive back home They were replacing a signal next to the High School. Mmmm ... Sara Lee!!! We have ALOT of Eucalyptus trees in Camarillo On our way back to Camarillo Amanda and Joshua love Costco Here is our basket before I loaded the goods into the trunk. COSTCO Here we are arriving in the beautiful city of Oxnard

Water slide JUMPS!
Sir Clinksalot replied to benzo41190's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It'd be nice to see some pics ! Also does the ride stay open for long with peeps in the park? I've found that the park inspector hates slides that just hurl peeps through the air for a long distance and closes them.... -
For a first effort that video is really GREAT !! I really enjoyed the coaster itself. I think the theming for the coaster could be improved but the ride itself was cool ! As for the video, I'm guessing you are using FRAPS rather than the ingame video capturing. The ingame one takes A LONG time, about a frame a second but the quality is worth it, to capture 90secs of video would take approx. 35 minutes, using FRAPS is quicker but can tend to jump and skip and look a bit worse as it's done on the fly. To help the overall look of the video I recommend using the ingame ASE (Attract Sequence Editor) which is accessible ingame using Ctrl-Shift-0 (that's Zero) and get used to positioning camera's etc. (the ASE is also accessible by renaming a peep to D Lean, but Ctrl-Shift-0 is easier) You can use this to do professional looking camera pans, swings etc. Despite what people think, the ASE really isn't hard to use after you get used to it. For more info on the ASE and using it, check out the Tips and Tricks section of http://www.vodhin.net/ and Klinns Tutorial here. It's not THAT secret , and it's not too unfriendly either, heck even I can use it fairly well, lots of people have used it to make ride and park videos. As far as I know (although I haven't checked back very far) there aren't many RCT3 POV's at all on this forum. There are quite a few over at the official boards though. So all in all, GREAT effort, I hope my suggestions help, especially once you get to grips with the ASE.

I've just checked Google to find out what a Key Lime is, as I had no idea! What goes in a Boston Creme Pie? Do you have pork pies in the US? I've just discovered that there have been films made with pork pie in the title! There was Goodbye Pork Pie, a NZ 1981 film, which had nothing to do with pork pies, it was a road movie with the car being called Pork Pie! There was The Perils of Pork Pie, a silent movie in 1916! A TV series in the UK ran from 1995 to 1996 called Porkpie! And an autobiographical film about a priest's son 1960's Wales called Pork Pie!!!!!!!! Pork Pies rule! Here are some pics of pork pies that I found. One has a boiled egg in the centre!!!!!!! Pork pie with egg in the centre! Pork pie! -

Awesome TR. I also really like the TX park and feel that SFAW gets a bad rap. Sure the rides there aren't new, but they aren't THAT bad. That really sucks about Rattler being rough. I guess we must have gotten REALLY lucky on it when we were there last year. -
For a start, I've been interested in UFO's since I was a little kid and have been a member of BUFORA (British UFO Research Association and yes the website looks very crap ) for the last 13 years so I've read a fair chunk of reports on UFO's and UFO related incidents, ranging from abduction all the way through to remote viewing. I was also a regular subscriber to the Fortean Times and a couple of British UFO magazines until about 2002 as well as reading quite a few books on the subject, especially during my college years. So I'd classify myself as a [sarcasm]"Slightly Bigger than Mini-Expert"[/sarcasm] too based on more than just RADIO programmes. I have always believed in alien life, and heck in my post above I said that there are plenty of occurences that are really difficult if not impossible to explain away (including the Mexico mass sightings). But 99% of UFO occurrences are completely explainable, that still makes that 1% REALLY REALLY interesting. As for alien life visiting us and watching us like "ants" (which also aren't classed as a civilisation), lots of people have used that analogy and I find that really unlikely. With all the planets that could potentially hold life, I'm sure there are FAR more interesting planets to watch than our Earth. To believe we have ANY significance in this huge universe is misguided and ultimately arrogant. The human race isn't important in the big scheme of things. People just like to think of humanity as being important when we really aren't.

Flashback at SFMM
Sir Clinksalot replied to Ketchup's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I liked it when it first opened. Nobody else really did so it always had a short line. It was also in a REALLY bad spot. The only time it would ever get a line was in the pre-Hurricane Harbor days when that section was still the lake and they did the Batman nightime show there. People would go on Flashback while other people waited in line for the show. I miss that night show, it was actually pretty good. -
