Well, this sucks. SFA is closed for a private event that weekend. WTF is that? Looks like the only park we will be able to go to is BGW. I guess that's fine though, if we end up moving to the area we will be close enough to those parks. I guess Sunday we can just go into DC before our flight home. That's awesome Rick!!! Yeah, giving a cat a bath is quite fun. One time when our cat was about 6 months old (about 10 years ago) she got some urine on her. Yes, it was mine. Stupid cat jumped in the toilet while I was taking a leak. Anyway, Kristi and I decide to give her a bath. She wasn't having it. Luckily it was our spare bathroom (at the time since Kristi was just pregnant with Amanda) and basically we cleared EVERYTHING out of the bathroom and I locked myself in there with her. Just kept getting cups of water, throwing them on the cat and tried to wash her. I think I still have scars. The bathroom was absolutely flooded. But it was funny.

Okay, inspired by CoasterDude5's POV video, I decided to video my Stormrunner coaster called Neptunes Grasp. A lot of the terrain isn't finalised and the park is still majorly under construction, I just thought it would be nice to show you some of my park in the form of a video. Nope, you use the game itself to take video clips/photo's of coasters (in the case of video, if you aren't very patient you'd be better off using FRAPS) Photo Story is just for making photo storyboard type videos, it's not much use in the long run, especially if you have Windows Movie Maker 2 (which afaik comes with Windows XP). To take photos ingame press F10, to take video ingame press Ctrl-Shift-F11 (be warned, it goes at 1 frame per second but captures in great quality) The photos are stored in My Documents/My Pictures/RCT3 and the videos are stored in My Documents/My Videos/RCT3. If you use FRAPS to capture video, the videos will be stored where you have told FRAPS to save them.

I prefer Diet Coke to Diet Pepsi. (It has to be Diet, cos I'm diabetic). But Pepsi Max Twist is quite nice!

What sort of budget are you looking at ? 1Gb of RAM is about the minimum these days, I tend to struggle with 512Mb, so my next upgrade will probably be RAM then graphics card.

The ingame video recorder slows the game down to one frame a second but captures in the best quality possible. FRAPS can capture real-time but not always great quality and can suffer skips and jumps. The ingame video recorder isn't meant to be used while PLAYING, you are meant to set up shots, either manually or using the ASE and then leave it to it. Both methods have there own pro's and cons, for quality use the ingame, for speed or if time is important, use FRAPS.

We are going to drive from Baltimore to Richmond through the night and be in Richmond Friday and Saturday. Sunday we will go to a lovely SF park I am sure then come home to crappy California.
