  1. Wow this is horrible news. I never got to go to this park. Please do not replace it with a Manta/flying coaster! I am not a fan of these types of rides. I always wanted to experience that last drop over the river on BBW.
  2. Are you sure this is the Lazer and not Doppel Looping from Conklin Shows? It was sold too.
  3. Nice pics, but honestly do we need to see all those trips to the bathroom?
  4. I have to agree with Tatsu. It's the only B&M that made me sick also. The pretzel loop is amazing though. I have never felt that sensation on any coaster before.
  5. Seriously, it's not that great of a coaster to be excited about other than the trains might be interesting to see from a new company. At least its lap bar only!
  6. I swear there could be a forest fire, and an earthquake going on at the same time, and still the X2 line would not go down! Amazing.
  7. Come on now, do you really need to ride Little Laser? What Guest Relations must have thought of that!
  8. It's nice you can actually see out of the Kissing tower windows and take pics. The one at Knott's was terrible! Dirty windows and photos were impossible.
  9. Also remember that the giant drop ride accident didn't help this park at all. This park may go the same route as Astroworld.
  10. Since when do 11 year olds use the word SYMBOLIZED?
  11. I never understood the reason for the Skyride, it does not go anywhere! Its only good for taking pictures of THe Great White.
  12. When I was at the park last week, I thought if they took out that extra pay attraction next to the go-carts, the Sky coaster? That would make an excellent location for a giant frisbee, where it would swing out over the midway. Those Sky Coaster things are getting old anyway.
  13. You still didnt tell me what it means and why.
  14. Can someone please tell me why this name was given to the lockers and what exactly it means? I dont get it!
  15. Wow! Mr. Six is white in that park?
  16. Wow! After watching that video, this is what Terminator SHOULD have been! Maybe it would have a line.
  17. How did you get night shots of Terminator on May 28 if the park closed at 6? Same day I went. I left around 5ish and it was still bright outside. Did you mean Friday? I think they were open til 10pm. I honestly dont know how you did Tatsu multiple times! That ride made me queasy. I only enjoyed the pretzel loop inversions and even that was uber-intense.
  18. In response to some of your comments and questions. I am not new to SFMM. I have been at least 5 times over the years, so I try to go when the crowds are small. (always on a weekday, and as early in the year as possible). Deja- Vu's line I waited in was about 20-25 min. I know that's not long, but I guess I was spoiled by all the empty queues on all the other rides! Terminator was fun, but I found it to be too short of a ride, thus why I like Colossus, since it has a longer track and bigger drops, even though it is a little rough. I dont understand why Terminator's line wasnt long at all? It's like people rode it once, then moved on.
  19. Here are my pics from Thursday May 28. It was nice and sunny with some crowds, (mostly school trips) but it wasn't as bad as it looked. Lines were fairly short. The longest waits were X2 (ofcourse), Deja-Vu, and Batman. Everything else was about 10 mins or less. Most coasters had no line all the way up to the station. I was dissapointed the Sky Tower was closed because I really wanted to take some pictures from up there. This was the only ride closed by the way. On to the pictures! Nice sign! Almost there! Goodbye SFMM! I hope you enjoyed my pics. I had to stop and take these before I left! A few pics from outside the park. I guess I feel safe? These were everywhere! Up to date admission prices. Hello! Not too busy over here. Nothing going on here. Mr Six was entertaining I love empty queues! Goliath. No line except in the station. With 2 or 3 car wait. Longer for front seat. A beautiful day. Yep. Another walk-on. I actually like this ride. It is photogenic though! ANother walk-on. Didn't ride this one. The line was too long. I guess Batman is more popular than Riddler. The incline loop. This reminds me of Kumba Cool shot! It still is the world's largest stand-up coaster. And it has 2 diving loops! Another great ride with minimal wait time. It looked really nice, and was running great. I guess the past problems it had have been worked out. This is a very intense ride. It is also very popular. It had a long line. I guess the park wanted a family coaster. I found it to be just average. Im sure it is a better experience at night. Jetstream and some more Ninja. Peaceful. A nice quiet area of the park. Another ride with no line at all. I rode twice without getting off. Perfect! Some theming inside Ninja. Told you! A fun ride with no line at all. Not so magical! It was closed. I love this angle. Cool shot Tatsu pics. This is the only coaster that made me sick! The laying down position on a coaster just does not feel right to me. I did like the pretzel loop portion of the ride. An amazing feeling. The rest of the ride I did not like. I rode this earlier in the day. I refused to wait in this! More Viper Viper The following pics are from the bridge going to X2 Nice new sign in the sun. Maybe not THE greatest. Besides there was no line for it anyway! I guess here first. Which way? This one too! I think this came out very nice! New signs all over I actually took this on the way out. Parking lot shots The mountain is all quiet I arrived at 9am X2 looking good Nobody here yet! I almost thought the park was closed today.
  20. In response to the bad element at the park. I noticed the park has its own Sheriff's station right by the entrance, where the trams drop you off. Only in Los Angeles. I never have seen something like that at any other park.
  21. I just got back from SFMM and I just cant believe how people STILL run to X2 first! Um HELLO! There is a new ride called Terminator, that just opened! Yes? No? Apparently no one cares about it. SFMM can build 5 more new coasters, and people will still run to X2 first. What I dont understand is why people continue to wait in line for this for hours. Thank god I arrived early and got on within 10 mins. X2 is a great ride, but not worth waiting more than 1 hour. Its funny also how Terminator didnt even have a long wait. Maybe because its over-rated and just too short of a ride. I wasn't impressed.
  22. I dont understand why its called Fluffy fluffy bunnie with medicine and goo?? Am I missing something?
  23. I have been wanting for years to ride that Evolution/Xcalibur/Imperator ride. I never got the chance when it was at Great Adventure. Was closed (no surprise there). I am glad they are keeping the ride here and it is very reliable now, and with nice theming! I just wish the ride cycle was better. I heard it is too short and saw a few You-tube videos of it.
  24. I really dont like the idea of having water parks INSIDE the actual park grounds. They should be seperate entrances and adjacent or a few miles away. Examples that work are SF Magic Mountain which is next door and Kings Island's water park next door. I dont like what King's Dominion did with theirs, it makes the park look too cluttered. Just a couple of question, since I never been to Hershey yet. What did everybody like about the rapids ride that was removed? What made it so great?
  25. Wow that is dumb! LOL! Those parks are really close to each other!
