I agree with this and maybe thats because we went together I really liked Flying Turns as a great family coaster but it didnt blow me away. It was also my 200th coaster so now on Scandi I'll be at the 200 mark Phoenix and Pumpkin Funnel cake side by side....how could your day be bad??

Flights from JFK to CPH are around $422(EWR to CHP $438) on June 10th, I'm hoping once I buy they are still that price! There is even one for $301 but it arrives that morning of the trip.

Saturday night at Gay Day was great! El Toro was amazing as usual! Rolling Thunder has to "know" it was going! I have always liked Rolling Thunder but I've always admitted it was rough. Saturday night was the best ride I've had on it in a long time! The straight sections were fun and not rough at all, the turnarounds were still pretty rough though. The bunny hills towards the end had some good airtime on them. The event was well put together and the staff overall were very friendly throughout the park. Most of the rides were open, Kingda Ka closed at some point in the night. Glad to hear that Rolling Thunder had a good send off yesterday!

All in for Scandi! Can't wait for my first visit overseas My second job will definitely be seeing more of me before the trip to get this thing paid New Hotness sounds great too! I wish I could do both!

Omg I will be so scared going up this thing! Great news for the park but while Rolling Thunder is aging, it still was a good wooden coaster for families plus it was two separate rides since layouts were different. Glad to see the park get a drop ride finally! Gla I'm heading to the park next Saturday to get a final ride on Rolling Thunder!

Hopefully Riptide Run isn't removed, that's one of my favorite water slide there besides Patriots Plunge.

I feel the same way especially for this park, they received nothing for years. The park does need work still but if this area is going in the area of Two-face it will be a big improvement. That is a major area that needed a facelift since it looked untouched every year after Two-Face left. So they get a coaster and a flat, that sounds like a win for everyone. (Of course depending on height restrictions)

I loved this park on the TPR Northeast Trip, I felt it was very non-Six Flags and I remember enjoying the time we spent there. I "think" this park does need a new coaster but not something huge due to the fact that its more of a family park more then a thrill seekers park. I just hope it always stays family friendly because not every park has to be a "Great Adventure"

I really hope they are able to get it back up and running! Sept 7 is Gay Day and I always look forward to riding thing at midnight!

Great updates and looks like you had a great time at the Fair! Six Flags Fiesta Texas seems like they were great hosts even with Iron Rattler being closed. Facebook keeps reminding me with everyones updates how I wish I did a trip this year but holding off for next year I really love that even a bad experience at one park, you found a way to make it up with Summer Adventures at Fair Park. Looks like they really worked with you!

I have always wanted to head to this park, great pictures. One of the reasons I want to go is to finally ride one of the Lighting Loops from Great Adventure since when a child I was to afraid to ride lol.

Great to see so many people at the park! We had a great time there on the LeviaTHON Tour last year and like I said before, the Tumblebug was a highlight of the trip for me!

I'd love to see it open this year and I'd be up there as soon as it opened! Would be a good coaster to be my 200th credit!

Just finally catching up on this news! It is very sad for her and her family but like others are saying, I feel safer on coaster then in a car. I also feel bad for the witnesses of the accident, that would be something you couldn't forget. I just wish the media would report news and not go overboard.

Heading to Wildwood & Morey's Piers on the 17th for 4 days and can't wait since it's the beach, coasters and rides! I have the three bigger coasters but need the smaller ones plus I haven't been to Wildwood since 1996!

Great Adventure's is September 7th and can't wait! This year though it's on a Saturday and starts as a private event 8pm to 1am. El Toro at midnight is amazing!

Hopefully the park makes a turn around. The Tumble Bug was insane in the last car during the Leviathon Trip! Had a great time at the park that day!

Dragon - Circus World Just found a picture of me on it in 1985! It messed up my milestone 100 coaster because never knew I rode it!
