  1. With over 3.5 million visitors to be exact! That's an exact number, folks. It sure is! It's the most visited seasonal amusement park in North America!
  2. With over 3.5 million visitors to be exact! Backlot Stunt Coaster's capacity is okay but, the line is usually long. But, I do enjoy good launched coasters so, maybe if they figure out a way to increase hourly capacity for any launched coaster, then it may be a great addition.
  3. Thanks for the great update of Dorney Park from two years ago! I had visited Dorney Park for the first time last June and had greatly enjoyed myself! They have an excellent collection of coasters and rides. I hope to visit again sometime within the next few years.
  4. Yes. Do you like blackberries?
  5. PS: You have 16 Coasters Canada's Wonderland did have 17 during the 2014 season until SkyRider was removed.
  6. Then, you'll do it all again, backwards!
  7. I'm bringing this topic back to life! Here is a promotional video for TOGO advertising their coasters and rides of the time, when this video was created. I'm guessing it was created around 1992.
  8. It could be a car design for the park's Wild Mouse coaster. It does look neat though!
  9. April 16th is the park's opening day for this year. Maybe they'll be announcing something else that's new before then?
  10. That was in response to someone who had asked about Ziz. Also, that image can be easily found on Google Images. It may lead to something but, I'm not keeping my hopes too high at the moment.
  11. Is that clanging the sound of the coaster? Joking aside, it does look interesting to see a Chinese made Tilt-coaster. I wonder how long it takes for the track to tilt?
  12. Luckily all the parks I've been to so far, I haven't met any rude staff. So, it's not really an issue for me but, apparently, there are parks like that out there.
  13. The greatest fun you'll ever have!
  14. Exactly, I know I bring this point up a lot but look at the Korean parks, they've all had family additions and smaller rides here and there but their last big coasters were 2003 for Lotte World with Atlantis and 2008 with T Express for Everland. Granted they are year round parks which up the attendance but they only have 2 big coasters each and their attendance generally still increases each year. (this year may see a decrease due to MER's though) As many of you probably know by now from reading my signature, Canada's Wonderland is my home park. I'm still going to go regardless of what (if anything) is added to the park! Canada's Wonderland could definitely go a few years without adding anything new and they'd still possibly have the highest attendance record for a seasonal park in North America. I don't think it's just the rides that bring people back, but it's mostly how you're treated by the staff that counts. I know I wouldn't go back to a park that has rude staff, no matter how many new rides they add each year. Luckily, Canada's Wonderland has amazing staff that make you feel welcomed and comfortable at the park, which always makes my visits highly enjoyable!
  15. Thunderhawk looks truly stunning now! I'm glad to see it getting some restoration work done! It was chipped and peeled when I had visited last June. Thanks for sharing the photo, Physical!
  16. Negative-g's!
  17. What's new is going to thrill you!
  18. There sure were quite a few crazy water slides built in the 1980's! I've been on a couple fun and somewhat scary water slides. They are The Plunge at Canada's Wonderland and Cascade at Dorney Park. The Plunge is a Proslide large 50 foot tall triple hump water slide where riders sit in a large raft. You really experience some amazing airtime and it is possibly the most intense slide in Splashworks! Cascade in Wildwater Kingdom at Dorney Park is quite similar to the Plunge except it's only 30 feet tall and riders sit in a two passenger inner-tube. It was quite funny watching people ride down that slide as they would smack their butts off the slide every time they had gotten airtime. My dad and I had decided to ride it and we had received quite a bit of airtime! I was glad I had rode it during my first visit to the park last June. I wish more water parks have these kind of water slides as they appear to be intense or scary but, are actually quite fun!
