  1. Six Flags Great America's, my personal favorite wooden coaster I loved Goliath at SFGAm, best ride in that park by a mile. If you liked it, you need to go ride some more RMC's. There are plenty near Chicago, including Lightning Rod at Dollywood, Storm Chaser at Kentucky Kingdom, and my personal favourite wooden coaster, Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City. I have ridden both Storm Chaser and Outlaw Run, and I liked Outlaw Run a hair less than Goliath, both are phenomenal rides but the first drop and zero-g stall blew me away. Lightning Rod was closed when I went in late July...
  2. It's not that hard to keep from getting banned, just don't be stupid or an asshole... You know, things you should already be doing in the real world.
  3. Six Flags Great America's, my personal favorite wooden coaster
  4. Obviously just my signature Honorable mentions to Goliath (SFOG), Raging Bull, Tennessee Tornado, Magnum, and Valravn. Will be heading to BGT and Sea World in a few weeks so Montu, Kumba, Manta, and Mako could easily change my mind.
  5. Thunderhead like a 1 1/2 months ago... Cedar Point this Sunday though!
  6. I'm a huge statistics and math dude so I only keep credits/number of rides on a coaster for me to screw around with numbers later. The big thing I've done this last two years is after it's all finished around November/December, I open the spreadsheet that I created for credits/times ridden and do some math. I add up miles I've ridden on coasters (107 Miles in 2015) number of inversions I've done (318), etc. Just keeps me busy during the offseason and gives me a chance to look back on the year and dig through the memories I had with family and friends. I understand why people solely collect credits, but I'd take a day with my best friend at a park I've been to a thousand times than a park I have never been to by myself. My coaster count of 100 means nothing compared to the memories of I've made riding them, my first time on Dragster with my father, the time I got hailed on while riding Maverick, riding Diamondback so many times till all of us were feeling nauseous. Great times that can never be replaced
  7. Don't go. This is actually excellent advice for ALL Saturdays of Haunt! Either go Friday night, or Sunday, if you want to have a truly enjoyable day! Thank you, I'll plan accordingly for Sunday. Just asking because from all my experiences at Kings Island lines are minuscule until 5-6 but then it becomes utter chaos afterwards
  8. Anyone know how busy it usually/should be the first Saturday of Haunt?
  9. I've got Cedar Point coming up in 3 weeks and I'm taking my first trip to BGT mid October!
  10. Definitely Tennessee Tornado, honestly rides like a B&M but just has this "thing" that only Arrow coasters can have. Followed Closely by Magnum
  11. Which Vortex? I'm guessing Kings Island but it could be Carowinds/CGA, even Canada's Wonderland
  12. Not an entire ride that needs refurbished but Banshee's green train needs some serious work. Rattles harder than any B&M I've ridden. Others are perfectly fine
  13. Can someone please convert it to a format that all people can actually watch?
  14. When do they usually test? I've never been able to personally view one live.
  15. Weather forecast cleared up for Gurnee, I'll make sure to spend a ton of time at St. Louis over the summer but next weekend I'm riding Goliath!!!!
  16. Is Mr. Freeze:RB running now? Planning on taking my first trip of the year this Sunday since Chicago is supposed to be rained out the entire weekend. (no Goliath for me )Reason I wanna know is because I'm bringing a friend who, when the last time he went, was not able to ride MF:RB due to it being down.
  17. Judge Roy Scream, good family wooden coaster, but not much too it and not too much airtime. Good ride, but not enough for a second ride.
  18. Never had problems with collar bone pains, just when I get stapled by a ride op on Banshee (only about 2-3 times out of 80 rides), I'm fine throughout the ride but when I hit the brake-run it is utter hell on my pelvis. I'm really skinny and slender so it's right on the bone and to add to that one of the times I was stapled in someone threw up on the station platform so I had to sit on the brake-run for over 10 minutes while they cleaned it.
  19. As a central Indiana resident, I have never been to the park and it wasn't until about 6 months after I became an enthusiast that I realized it wasn't on Lake Michigan. Still have no plans to go, only has two coasters that peak my interests, Steel Hawg and Cornball Express, and I have heard by tons of GP friends that it is just overall under kept and even disgusting. This is coming from those who worship Kings Island and Holiday World and how Diamondback and Thunderbird are the best coasters in the world, so I take it for some grain of salt. (just clarifying I love both coasters and both are obviously in my top 10, as well as both parks are in my top 5)
  20. ^I do know that on at least the one I went on, Shock Wave at Over Texas, your gun breaks no matter what when you get off the lift hill, you're not supposed to fire during the ride. For the blurriness, I'm not sure, I had no problems.
