  1. I have only been on American Thunder, although I have seen one other in person. That being Ozark Wildcat the day before SDC this year. I just randomly had a crave for Denny's, pulled out the GPS, and when I got to Denny's, I noticed a rather large GCI no more than 1/4 mile away.
  2. Dragon Challenge Blue, less than 10 minutes later Red was my 2nd. That coaster started my obsession
  3. Maverick: This coaster is SO much fun. Front seat, charging up the LSM lift is amazing, instantly brought a maniacal grin to my face. Hitting the drop and being thrown into the restraints (I've only ridden it with the new restraints) is really awesome and some incredible airtime. The first airtime hill is great and feels like a bucking maverick. The inversions are nice and smooth, non-obtrusive and not a large focus of the ride, but still very fun. Going under the station into the mine is really cool. The launch brings a huge smile to my face and feels VERY fast. I'm not a huge fan of how early the trim kicks in, but diving down over the lake is awesome and looks great both on and off the ride. My personal favorite elements are the over-banks which just whip you over to the side and quickly bring you back. Some of the best and almost weird airtime I've experienced. The last airtime hill is good, and I hit the brake run all five times completely satisfied. Sure, it's intense, but it was SO much fun. It is tied with Millie as my favorite coaster, which is very fun, but it can't top Maverick for me. Honorable Mentions- Magnum XL-200: My dad rode Magnum the year it opened when he was my age, and him being able to ride it with me this year was really awesome and brought back a lot of nostalgia. The airtime on the way back is so good it almost hurts. Millennium Force: Fast, smooth, comfortable, my first and so far only Giga Outlaw Run Beast Whizzer: Just a really fun ride, especially for it's age.
  4. Raptor is actually really loud, probably because it is right against the midway. I don't mind, but it just seems weird coming from Kings Island where all the old rides are away from the paths and not nearly as exposed as Cedar Point's collection.
  5. Goliath at Great America, 2 hours.... in the single rider line they had set up for the day... And an hour and a half for Superman.... And an 1:20 for V2... Loved the park but geez...
  6. Magnum was definitely my sleeper hit for me, not as good as the Intamin's but still absolutely amazing. It was my first trip to Cedar Point and my dad's first since 1992 when it was still the tallest coaster, so it brought back a ton of nostalgia for him. The ejector air on it is unlike any other coaster I have been on, especially the second half. The only part that I would say that isn't great is the turnaround, little rough and shaky but it was better than anything on Corkscrew. Other than that, My father loves it 23 years later and I love it now
  7. For me personally, Firehawk at Kings Island. Smoothest Vekoma I've been on, with a great flying experience and amazing g's in the vertical loop. I also really love the double inline twists and final helix that comes really low to the ground and gets some decent g's. Was actually a top 10 ride until I visited Cedar Point and Great America. Only thing though is that capacity is atrocious, absolutely atrocious and when half the train is Fast Lane it takes forever to move through a line.
  8. They're trying to keep it from sinking
  9. Even though I'm a mid-wester (KI being my home park), I'm really excited for Ghost Rider's refurb! I'm taking my first SoCal next spring break or summer, and I'm going to Magic Mountain ($53 GOLD PASS!) and one other park, I'm really considering Knott's instead of Disneyland or Universal.
  10. 1. Maverick/Millie. Can't decide, both are practically my spirit coaster 3. Top Thrill Dragster 4. GateKeeper 2nd. favorite wingrider, behind Thunderbird 5. Magnum XL-200. Also known as "holy crap, I don't think my butt has been in the seat since the lift hill" 6. Raptor 7. Wicked Twister 8. Gemini 9. BanMantiRou I have only ridden it this year 10. Blue Streak 11. Corkscrew 12. Mean Streak. Wasn't as rough as I thought it was going to be... Just boring..... But that's just me 13. Cedar Creek Mine Ride 14. Iron Dragon 15. Woodstock Express
  11. When your ringtone is the beautiful station music for Millie and you preordered the CoasterDynamix Montu colored Scorpion.
  12. I would have to say an Intamin Blitz coaster. Ejector airtime galore, probably just a clone of Maverick, but without lighter trims after the launch and lapbars instead of the I305 restraints. Flat ride? Either a Screamin' Swing or Huss Giant Frisbee
