  1. I forgot to post what I currently am... Well, I really don't know what you wanna call it because it's a mix of various things I do: Unlock/lock church doors, run sound system/powerpoint system for the Deaf, locking things up...wait, I said that already. I also do setup/take down of different things and minor cleaning. Here we go...I'm an Audio-Video Janitechnitor Door person.
  2. Invertigo...it's what it is also..but it's a cool name for a coaster.
  3. I'll go to Newgrounds once in a while to download mixes of video game music people create and find some good stuff, even load up Fruityloops to recreate the song, or grab a keyboard or guitar and start playing the Tetris or Mario theme on it. I even visit www.vgmusic.com when I'm looking for a specific game tune I don't have or fire up an emulator just to listen to a certain song. Some of those songs, I admit are very catchy.
  4. How many drives do you have on your computer? Try using the same drive you installed it on. I had an issue like that with RCT2 a while back. Hope that helps.
  5. Red Nintendo Rehab T-shirt Khaki cargo shorts White socks White shoes w/ red & black white undies like usual
  6. Zonga is a pretty unique and cool name for a coaster.
  7. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sweating it whether if I get on TTD or not. It's pretty much similar to S:TE @ SFMM with a complete circuit. It would be like me wanting to ride a Boomerang back east although there are 2 exact clones and 2 next gen boomerangs (Invertigo, Deja-closed). Anyway, I'd be afraid that it would be a big disappointment like how S:TE did for me.
  8. Would you count listening to a meowing kitten as listening to a song?
  9. As a kid: I wanted to be some kind of construction worker (building houses, whatever...maybe even coasters) As I got older: Uh....I dunno...whatever pays me good As of a few years ago: Hey, I'm kinda liking this computer graphics and multi-media...throw in some animation skills and I'll be on the road to Pixar. As of now: Working my way to get a BA degree in Graphic Design/Multimedia...hopefully Pixar will take me, if not, start my own business...I've got friends who are also into graphic design
  10. Black T-shirt that says: The voices in my head tell me to play louder Dark blue shorts (Yay! It was warmer up here for once) White socks White/black/red shoes
  11. ^ Woah dude...I like the mini theme park! How long did that take to set up? That looks sweet! Video does not work. ^^ Ok...weekend's over. When are you going to post the pix? Just any of the ride. Take various shots of the LIMs u used and stuff as well as some overviewage. Here's the deal with my S&S tower: The tower is still standing, car was made and attached to the string pulleys I was going to use but yea...it kinda sucked...not a smooth ride, motor would have been too weak to lift the car and I thought of a counterbalance but not enough peices to do that. So, I think I'm going to change it up to a Booster-type ride as long as I can get the seats to freeley rotate...and I have ways to do it.
  12. Great name for a waterslide Those things are a bit on the painful side though for those who have ridden semi-vertical slides. It feels like a garden hose being sprayed full blast on your back along with having "crackers." (AKA thongified shorts)
  13. So that's what those Virginia Reel coasters were from RCT! I've always wondered if those even existed.
  14. I had Frosted Flakes this morning...They're Grrrrrrreat!
  15. Well, the S&S tower I'm working on is now vertical. I still need to work on the car and set up the motor, pulleys, and strings. I'll get pix of it with the car tomorrow
  16. I just found this back yard coaster the other night. I think it looks fun and it actually has airtime. http://www.jeremyreid.com/
  17. Just out of curiosity, who here has made a backyard ride and rode it? I'll tell you a few that we did when I was younger: Giant Swing on Steroids-This tire swing had a rope tied to the bottom so rather than pushing the tire, it was pulled back by several people. It was tied to a branch 30 feet above. This ride was actually thrilling (lost my stomach, footchopper fence below, and reached good speeds and heights). This swing felt like a Huss Frisbee ride. We reached heights of 20 feet above flat ground. Ghetto Coaster- We took 2 bed rails and propped them up on a workbench thing, nailed them in and put a red radio flyer wagon on it. we tied a rope to the axles and seated someone in it. The wagon was then towed up the rails (if the person wasn't too heavy) and as it reached the top, the rope was released (kinda like Boomerang's lift). This made a fun rough ride over the dirt after a pop of airtime hitting a flat part that stuck up on the bed rail. Overall, the swing ride was the best. So, what were your backyard rides if any?
  18. ^ weird....what happened to the dollar? I forgot to mention currently, I have a small collection of coaster goodies/games: Sim Theme Park (PS) Roller Coaster Factory 1 and 2 (1 was my first ever coaster game) Original RCT Loopy Landscapes RCT2 Ultimate Ride URDC RCT3 NL Really old Scream machines demo And as far as non coaster games go: Medusa Onride photo rollercoaster post cards T-shirts Six Flags Cool Coaster (small power launched coaster) Coaster book (Roller Coaster by Dave Bennett) and of course, coaster drawings and other coaster related art
  19. Absolutely nothing! J/k... Red t-shirt that says "Nintendo Rehab Clinic: The first step is admitting you have a problem" Blue Jeans Black shoes white socks
  20. http://www.rcdb.com/id1988.htm This is the funkiest coaster I've ever seen...it looks like it was made of some kid's toys.
  21. Uh...lemme think... First off, when we visit a theme park we are part of the GP but we tend to exclude ourselves from the rest of the GP being as we are enthusiests...but we all get your idea. Anyway, here's one...(believe it or not this was a ride op) Curious SLC rider: How fast does this go? Ride Op: This ride goes about 80 mph. Curious SLC rider: Really? That's pretty fast. Me: *looks at cousin* you know, this ride only goes 50 mph like the rest of it's clones.
  22. I have been to: SFMW (If water parks count) Waterworld Concord PGA SCBB DL KBF USH and.... SFMM I need to get out to more parks
  23. I have yet to test out my digi-cam I bought last summer at a theme park. It does movies with sounds up to 11 minutes depending on quality. I'm happy with it and it takes some good clips (I video clipped a friend's band a few weeks ago with it) and some excellent pix.
  24. Being a non smoker, I can't stand smelling it on somebody...and once they begin talking it get's pretty bad. I know parks around here (SFMW,PGA) do not allow you to smoke in queues. I think they should get rid of smoking overall in parks. I want to smell the cotton candy and whatnot, not someone's smokey breath.
