At one point, I started collecting little stuffed animals from those claw machines. I kinda stopped now realizing I need to save my money rather than use it on rigged machines and the arcade took out the one I would win out of.

BEST DISNEY RIDE- nominations
Angry_Gumball replied to vertgforces's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Splash Mtn. Space Mtn.(Both DL) Cali-Screamin (haven't rode but looks fun) -
Yea..I was completely unaware they had a park map...Yes, it's kinda bad but in a way, it'll be semi useful as now I know where to position the rides at. Thanks for the info.

A log flume, or even a ride like Arrow Head Splashdown would be a really good addition to the park being as those summer days can get quite hot. SFMW would then have a nice collection of water rides and be equal w/ PGA as far as water rides go (excluding Boom Bay)...Better yet, they should add a water coaster.

Super Loops [NL]
Angry_Gumball replied to a topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
You can't just expect replies out of people suddenly. Anyway though, yes you admitted that the pacing was bad and I was having flashbacks of Psyclone there. Now, I'm no expert at NL but I've pulled this off in RCT (original). It's all about timing. Figure how long it takes to get up the lift and to hit the loop. After the loop, figure how much more time it takes for the next train to go thru the first loop. From there, just build more track to make up for the timing and build your next interlocking loop. That's what I did on the first RCT and it should work just as well in NL. I figured this out with an old Loch Ness monster track I have. -
That reminds me of when I attempted 2 things with my legos: An S&S lego tower that was pulled to the top by hand and when released, the car slammed down either sticking to the base or breaking into peices A sky slingshot w/ rubberband bungee cords. I pulled the pod thingy down and had re-enacted Vertigo's Tower collapse. After looking at more pix on the internet, my brother thought it also maybe possible to build an Intamin first gen freefall (aka Dumpster Drop) being as he has curved peices. Any of these ideas we have in mind are all going to be motorized so we won't have cars crashing thru the ceiling. I'll post pix when we're done.

I'm taking a short break on my SFOH park and am working on the SCBB in RCT3. I've ran into a few problems though. I can't quite get all the details I need such as the GD queue house and stuff like that. I need to also find good overview pix of the "pit" rides such as freefall and cavetrain as well as the other rides above on that end. Now, is there a park map of SCBB and if so where at? If anyone has good pix (Did billions of google searches in the past year or so and got nowhere) lemme know. I know this should be in the RCT forum but afterall it is a question. Anyway, thanks and lemme know if you have any good pix (I need to take a trip to the boardwalk again)

I did a mini-marathon of 11 rides on Giant Dipper. I could have done more but my cousin was waiting for me and didn't want to ride it. In total that day, I probably rode the dipper around 16 times. On the otherhand, as far as Non-coasters go, I did 6 continuous rides on a Top Spin Voodoo @ SFMW...I regretted it afterwards although that ride was fun. The remainder of the night, I felt very nauseated.

Favorite Photos YOU Have Taken
Angry_Gumball replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Um...yea..here's my first (and best coaster pic). Please note that this was taken in a moving vehicle way before I had a real digi-cam to get pix with. Otherwise here's the Not so Vertical Velocity. If the sun wasn't in such a bad spot, this woulda came out good and woulda been able to see some of my friends.. Last one for now until I can find some of my first POV images is the Tazmanian Devil @ sfmw...best flat there. Best ride to go on right after eating V2.5's rear spike, but the sun messed it up. Don't you just love the Gameboy camera? -
We'll usually hit up fast food places like McDonalds, or good old In n Out Burger. If we have some extra time and in the area, we may hit up Fuddruckers...(awesome burgers...and huge...)

RCT3 Problem
Angry_Gumball replied to maliboomer's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Ok...now I've got an RCT3 problem. My computer easily crushes the system spec's but each time I go to load this one specific park I found, the game suckes me out and closes out on me. My computer then says my memory is too low. I know what the issue is: My memory is "Too Low, insufficient, ect" but it isnt. The game calls for 256 MB of ram recommended and I've got over 512 Megs. Secondly, (I don't think it is a video card issue but I'll add it in for extra info) the game requires at least a 64 mb video card. I've got a 256 mb...What's wrong here and how can I resolve this issue before Oblivion's (coastergrotto.com) SFMM recreation is ready for release? Lastly, I'd like to add that I am up to date on RCT3...complete with update 2. -
My friend saved me and 2 of our other friends on Drop Zone @ PGA. The ride was seconds away from being dispatched as my friend screamed out "Hey....We're not secure....You forgot to check our restraints" and it was a good thing he did. That would have been 4 of us to die in unison. This was pre-adding the extra safety belt. Unfortunately, that ride took a death in order to have those added into the restraints (which had happened the next day)

^As far as the Grudge, that was funny....you were so scared.... As I'm typing, I'm watching Taxi. It's pretty good so far.

S:TE? Airtime? Nah...can't be....there wasn't any airtime when I went on it...we barely made it 2/3 up the tower...Booo!!! Anyway, now that I'm done with my S:TE rant, I would have to say Giant Dipper. All I remember on that thing was my hiney flying off the seat, thighs hitting lap bar, butt slams down again, and up up and away...repeat several times. I had like 4 inches or so on the GD, maybe even more between me and the lapbar. *hint* Ride Giant Dipper with a larger rider being as the 2 of you share a single lapbar.

Worst Ride Name
Angry_Gumball replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Screw Coaster would go for the worst name. But again, it does sound kinda funny.
