Next Expansion for RCT3
Angry_Gumball replied to coasterdude5's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Looking at The Sims, I have a feeling that RCT3 could have more expansion packs to be 'up to date' with the amusement industry. The Sims as you know has quite a few expansion packs. -

Random Photo TR: GBA Supercard SD
Angry_Gumball replied to Angry_Gumball's topic in Random, Random, Random
Still haven't given up just yet. My first step was actually checking out the manufacturer's site, www.supercard.cn, but reading those engrish-filled instructions just made matters worse. My next step was to check their forums where people don't respond to 'urgent' topics espcecially if you're a new member. Everyone's lost in their own little world. So from there, I used my best internet friend, Google and found some tutorials. Now, here's my trouble: First off, I think it all has to do with the firmware. Without the proper stuff, the GBA thinks nothing's in there. (I'm assuming this as this is what it seems to be). I'm finding all these firmware updates but thisis where I"m confused. Do I first get a base or 'vanilla' firmware file and update from there? (Kinda like how NL works) More research to come. If successful, expect to see a pic of Robb dancing on the escalator on GBA! Robb, does your Turbo Xg2 thing really load that slow as far as transferring games on there? And how megabytes does that store? (That's why I got supercard so that size is expandable rather than fixed) -
Random Photo TR: GBA Supercard SD

If only the people weren't lazy on those message boards. I'm still going to do more research on more forums as long as they're not lazy like the last 2 I went to. I tried e-mailing the one who I bought it from for some help as well. I'm trying to figure out whether If I'm missing something or if it's defective. -
Yesterday, I recieved my supercard sd (sorry, no opening the mail TR due to frustration) but I'm having trouble setting it up. I'm sure atleast some of you have seen these before. If you haven't, you can download freeware roms/nes roms, load video clips (new excuse to download TPR videos), music, and images. Sounds kinda PSP-like, right? Now, this is where I'm having trouble: See pics below and read comments for a nice visual tour that makes up for my TR Basically, if anyone of you know about these, could you please help me out? Thanks in advance and enjoy my mini depressing TR! *waits a few seconds* Nothing happens.... wtf??? Where's the menu with all my games on it? And you know you like the shot of gameboy in mid-boot...but wait a sec... Stuck it into the game slot. Putting the SD card into the cart. I did my homework (I think) and prepared this card ahead of time. It uses these for storage. Here's the cart in all it's blue glory. Pulling out the Supercard SD Yay! Here's its a box.

Most Excited About?
Angry_Gumball replied to coasterguy618's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As much as I highly doubt I'll be seeing SFMM next year, I'm looking forward to seeing Tatsu. 103' Corkscrew sounds...weird but cool. -
This game looks awesome...if only I had the DS, then I can re-live the times of playing Hoverboard ASDF (which was an online racing game with mario kart-like weapons). Too bad it was just a beta.

Ghostwriter (It was like a magnadoodle with a magnetic gel inside. On one side of the drawing board it was just a rectangular surface and the other side was a drawing surface in the shape of a head. You could see through the screens) -
What have you been hit in the head with?
Angry_Gumball replied to zaneymon's topic in Random, Random, Random
Let's see: People carelessly diving as I'm swimming below their target area Paintballs (we call 'em thumpers) OTSRs (Especially Vekoma ones) Cats (Ok...this enormous fat cat comes barrelling through the air and lands right on my head so he can sleep next to me) And lastly, I got speared in the head with a hollow steel tube used for supporting baby trees. (now, they use wood) We were playing 'indians' and I was the so-called 'prey' and I was hit and bleeding. -

Toilet Scooters are definitely fun. A couple friends and I were racing on them while having water being flung at us. We chucked random objects at each other. -
How did you get your screen name?
Angry_Gumball replied to waterviper's topic in Random, Random, Random
Random CS name I used when I used to play, taken from a gum commercial, "I'm an angry gumball....." advertising Extra's gum compared to a gumball or whatnot. -
NL help
Angry_Gumball replied to SFOGdude25's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
*pops up NL* Click Coaster>Statistics... You will get a graph of height and length. You can zoom in/out the X axis and Y axis if your coaster's really long/short. -

Alton Towers should finalize the problem and place the fireworks right behind their house and give them some real noise to complain about...maybe it will make 'em deaf. -
I actually made it to a Wal*Mart yesterday and saw the 360 and all of it's green/white/silver glory. I was going to play it but some young kid (younger than 10) playing Call of Duty...worst mistake ever as he couldn't control his character and got me dizzied as he played forever...I just left but graphically, it looks good. A few random side notes from wal*mart: I tried the "new and improved" Gameboy "Blinding Device" SP with it's ultra bright headache inducing screen. I also saw RCT3: Wild as well but I didn't have money on me at the time.

Speed and Height do nothing for me. Yes, I'm not afraid of heights and I love the speed but speed/height doesn't make my perfect ride. What gives me the 'scare' if you want to call it that is the out of control "OMG I'm gonna fly out!" airtime. Now, if I got plenty of airtime extremely high up, then that would be kinda different and scare me s**tless as I'm so high up and feel like I'm going to fly out at such a great height.

Coasters/Theme Parks (duh!), Video Game addict, Computers, Skateboarding (when I'm not lazy), Skimboarding (when it's skimming season), playing Bass, and ofcourse, art.

I work at a Film transfer lab. Basically, people go to Wal Mart, Walgreens, etc to get their home videos, reels, vhs tapes converted to DVD. The stores send it to us. So what exactly do I do? I rip DVDs and print thumbnail sleeves or I rip DVDs made directly from the DVD recorders and peice everything together (Make menu, titles, add music depending on film). You can see more at www.dv123.com

Is Derek the poster boy for RCT3?
Angry_Gumball replied to Guy T. Koepp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I know this is off topic but look at the soaked image. Are my eyes decieving me or is there an extra Disk-O track section poking up out of the slide? On the other side of things, that's weird and it does look like him. -

visit www.retrojunk.com for all your old-school TV show intro needs. I remember Waffle Blocks...those were my favorite building toy when I was younger. If only they remade them so that my neice can have the same fun we had as kids... -
Weird, yet fun. Kinda reminds me of a "poor-man's Flash." If you know/have Flash, you can create all kinds of weird, random animations. (That's what I use to make my animated avatars)

What happened as far as the out of proportion images was most likely the conversion from a wide-screen format to a perfect square. Cropping the original pic to a square would have done the trick.
