  1. Well, Batman: The Escape (I think that's what it was called) was from SFAW. Honestly, I don't mind seeing SFAW's rides being put to use instead of going to waste, provided they run good when we get 'em here unlike Zonga.
  2. Just to re-comfirm that Zonga is missing on the SF ride list. No word on RCDB yet though. Atleast I got to ride it so I'm happy. They better get something good in replacement.
  3. $300 DV Camera, bag and some tapes.
  4. I must agree that S:TE sucked. Discovery Channel gave a lot of hype to this coaster which made me look forward to riding it only to be disappointed. Because of this, I'm not really worried right yet ridding TTD/Kingda Ka. Bigger isn't always better IMO...a 70 foot coaster (Giant Dipper) pwns some of these bigger rides
  5. Actually, I have to finish getting some stuff for my new DV camera such as some more tapes, head cleaner, firewire port, cable, battery, etc. Why do firewire cables cost more than the port it's self anyway?
  6. The shooting PS3 kinda reminds me of our VCR at work. Press Eject and it chucks VHS tapes at you. Looking forward to the Plastic Shooter doin' 300mph! Wasn't there something about the PSP shooting the UMDs in Japan? If that's the case, you have the Plastic Shooter Portable. On the serious side of things, I think the X-Box 360 has definitely taken a nose-dive and by Christmas, there will be many disappointed people out there. Silly Micro$oft for rushing their product for the holiday season.
  7. If you have a capture card, you can transfer VHS-C, Hi-8, VHS etc into your computer, beef it up with your editing skills, and either burn it to DVD or, if you have a video card with video out and a sound card with audio out, you can hook up your VCR and record off of your computer. Like mentioned, the Pinnacle Studio 500 with PCI will work (we use these at work), the All-in-Wonder should work, etc.
  8. That mini S:TE reminds me of this: [/url]
  9. Last night it was breezy and freezing cold. Today, still cold and breezy but with some rain added to it.
  10. Here's my gift from me to me: I don't quite plan on POVs with this but I definitely plan to film some coasters! Notice the TPR dvd Merry X-Mas Billy!
  11. Ride ideas I can think of for a VG park would be: Kirby suspended kiddie coaster, Kirby's Nightmare Mario Karts Mario Pipeline (Water slides) Tetris Drop (Giant Drop/Rotodrop) Donkey Kong "Mine Cart Carnage" (Mine Train/Terrain) F-Zero themed launched coaster Pac-Maze (Mouse coaster) Sonic looping coaster Metroid 3D simulator/dark ride Maybe I'll start (again) a VG-Land RCT3 park...that's a great idea.
  12. Our elevators are too tame. Actually, I'd fear jumping as the elevator would shake and with my luck, stall.
  13. I recorded some stuff last nite on my memory card, just messing around. I still have yet to get some dv tapes and really check it out.
  14. So all I need is the DV/Firewire cable? And is Pinnacle any good for the capturing software?
  15. Sorry to bump the topic but I finally decided on a DV camera the other day and purchased it tonight. I got the Canon ZR200. I have yet to test it out as I don't have tapes and Best Buy's tapes were expensive (compared to Wal Mart). Any recommendations on a video capture card? At work, we use the Pinnacle PCI capture card/software bundle but I'm not sure if there's better/cheaper ones out there. Is ATI's All in Wonder anygood?
  16. Just got done playing a series of games on my Supercard SD which included the ever-so-addicting Wario Ware for GBA, Marble Madness, Pokemon and tons of other NES games.
  17. I got a cool name for the 2005 Knex coaster: Expidition Evergreen.
  18. The TPR DVDs will definitely be a real crowd pleaser/attention getter.
  19. Because I have Soaked, if I built a park without any Soaked rides/scenary could non-soaked users still open the park?
  20. Once the game's installed on your computer, you can not sell your Soaked disc. Yes it would be illegal as you have the game's data on your computer (kinda like burning the game and getting a refund on it.) And then your computer crashes one day and you then realize "Oh no! I sold Soaked for X dollars and now I have to go out and rebuy it again for more than I sold it!".
  21. I noticed the past 3 days now that I haven't seen any new topics including today. Earlier, on my laptop, there were new topics from today. What is wrong with my computer? (I'm sure I won't see any replies to this topic unless I go into my profile and find my recent topics) Below is a visual of what's going on. (I included the calendar with today's date as you see the latest topics in the forum as December 8th. WTF??? I know this site's not dead.
  22. Here's my pup I got the night before Thanksgiving. Her name is Zelda and she has golden retriever/husky/lab mix. As you see in the pic, she is in the process of owning Baby, the kitten. D0ggy Pwn4g3!!11!
  23. Wow..I guess that it is real then. To me, having worked with frame-by-frame animating with Flash and the rough quality (shaky frames, etc) it had me thinking it was animated with Flash (Which is very possible if we wanted to do that to our houses).
  24. Here's a part 2 here EDIT...nevermind... someone posted the link already. Seriously, this person has too much time on their hands or they took multiple shots and did frame-by frame animation (which I could even do of my house if I had some spare time and felt like taking shots of just certain sections of lights. As a matter of fact, I know it's not real because on the part 2, the pic kinda shakes back and forth between each frame as though the picture wasn't aligned exactly with the last one.
