  1. I'm definitely going to change the fences on the park entrance to the wrought iron fencing with the white pillars...it will make the entrance so much better-looking and that's the closest to wrought iron I'll get. I just got off work 24 minutes ago so we'll see what I whip up tonight. I also need to start looking for my SFMW map as I've done this portion so far from memory. SFMWzone.com has some great aerial (sp?) shots of the park as well so I'll also rely on that.
  2. Those heartlined spirals look fun.
  3. Ok...now I have Wild, and as you know, animals can be added to the park. With the addition of the "Extended" coaster, Medusa has been more easy to construct as well. Anyway, I'm attempting to recreate my home park SFMW. Here are a few screenshots to hold you up for now. I do not know when this will be ready as I have just started last night. Enjoy the pix! A few questions to ask so I know ahead of time: When a park has billboards with custom images, does the images have to be sent as well as the park or are the images imbedded into the saved park's file? And this is the front panel to the "box." I'm thinking of using this for the "box" thingy next to V2's station via Wild's Billboard feature. Note: this is the side panel. OMG!!! C0RkScR3W!!! Atleast this ride's pretty smooth. This explains it all! Wee! I mean...OW...OW!! My head hurts! Hmmm...let's go on Kong, the park's Hang 'N Bang! A view of Medusa from the street/parking stalls that say "No Parking" (I'm going to add billboards with no parking signs on them as well) A walk to the entrance...
  4. Right now, I don't think the weather knows what it's like. First it's raining, then sunny, then rain again...
  5. K, thanks...Just installed it and off to continue my park.
  6. I went crazy? C'mon now...I could have been worse. At least I did tell you what cameras to avoid. Basically when it comes down to it, you said you didn't mean to say it, then don't say something you're not meaning to say...simple, right? I'm not trying to flame you so please get that out of your head. Sorry if I went "crazy" on you...I wasn't sure if you knew/read the topic all about POVs.
  7. That is one seriously screwed up shuttle coaster. (Not yours, but the real thing) http://www.rcdb.com/ig3119.htm?picture=4
  8. Attempting to redo SFMW from scratch as I can add animals, I just finished the track work for Medusa and was going to use the Steel Worx theming for Medusa's supports. As soon as I clicked on the support I needed, the game closed out with an error message about Steel Worx. I didn't get a screenshot but I'll give it a shot and take a screenie to show you. Do I just simply re-download the objects again? Edit: Ok, I tried again. If I hit OK, the game carries on again for 5 seconds and the same window pops up. Please Help!
  9. I never really cared about the kiddie coasters much until I heard about this whole thing here. Since joining here, I've actually considered riding SFMW's kiddie next time I visit.
  10. Wow...suddenly, everyone's getting cam-corders, including me!
  11. I'm right with you on that one...I can do all those old games on my GBA. I guess now they found a way for people to pay for emulators? Actually, at work the other day, I heard a commercial for Game Tap. They played "Jingle Bells" in the form of video game sfx. It was pretty cool.
  12. Well, we didn't get a 'white x-mas' but we did get a 'wet x-mas.' It rarely snows here as it's done it 2 times in my life.
  13. 300 dpi Seriously, mine would to be able to actually visit a theme park once again and get the rest of my nor-cal credits I'm missing.
  14. RCT3: Wild Pac-Man T-shirt Pac-Man ghosts t-shirt Mario Baseball Metroid Prime 2 Atari Flashback 2 (So I can play oldschool once again) Graphics Tablet (For digital drawing via Photoshop) 2 hooded sweatshirts (Black & Grey, without the TPR logo) Art supplies such as sketch book, pastels, charcoal pencils, and chalk pastels DV cassettes
  15. Merry Christmas to all you theme park/coaster addicts out there reading the boards! Maybe a X-mas Photo TR this week complete with our light display and anatomically correct reindeer inflatable!
  16. I'm not quite sure yet...CoD looks good although I haven't played it. What's your favorite TPR DVD?
  17. Dark blue jeans Black JT Paintball shirt Tan Adio Bam shoes White socks
  18. I'm better telling you than not telling you. I'm not trying to start a debate either but I've read the topic about POVs and sneaking your camera on and if R&E were confronted by one of the park's staff about promoting camera sneaking, they'd actually have to spill the beans on who it was to keep themselves up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One of these duped topics needs to be locked but as for a decent camera for a decent price, Sonys are good along with Canon. (I just bought a Canon Mini DV and it's quite compact). I haven't filmed onride yet and I'm not sure if I'm quite brave enough to do so. I've heard some poor reviews on JVC as far as recording, as it picks up the motor sounds onto the tape.
  19. Wow...am I so tired that I'm seeing double or is there another topic about this here?
  20. First off, they don't sneak cameras on rides. They get permission as they have good relationships with many park staff from many parks. Do not sneak your camera on as you will make matters worse for yourself and if you do sneak it on, don't go bragging about it here as it gives the site a bad image. Ride ops and staff do read these boards you know. Do yourself a favor and Read the Bible of Coaster POV Filming before you get anymore ideas of sneaking your camera on.
  21. Why are you happy you rode Zonga? That's seriously the worst ride ever. One more ride added to my ride list...and when I rode it, I'll admit it was quite rough but not unridable for me. Both my brother and I rode it and enjoyed it. We only rode it opening year though so I don't know if it got worse than it was.
  22. I'm going to Best Buy tonight as we know someone who works there. With his employee discount, I can get a $43 firewire port for only $9. I think I may pick up Pinnacle Studio 10 as well so I can create DVDs of whatever I videotape. Maybe I should do a Photo TR of installing it/reconnecting my old hard drive for storage purposes.
  23. I'm not picky but I'll go for a full meal of Chinese food What's your favorite No Limits coaster (downloaded from other users/included with NL)?
  24. I will probably be sitting among 8 computers and a laser printer surrounded by boxes, ripping/printing DVD thumbnail sleeves and then just hang out afterwards.
