  1. In the mornings, around 8:00 AM...Actually, we're still in school for a few more months... We weren't off school.
  2. Looks promising so far...I'm assuming it's for RCT3, right?
  3. For me, it would have to be a mix of everything or most of everything: Speed, lats, out of control feeling, painless, and of course, stomach-tingling airtime.
  4. Ok, sorry to revive an old topic...(I've seen tons of revivals the past week or so). I was originally tempted to make a new topic but used the search to dig this one up instead as it's art-related...and I'd like to see more artwork posted. Anyway, before I show the pic, I'm sure you guys know who MC Escher is. If not, he's known for weird illusion-type perspective drawings like the never-ending staircase and the 2 hands drawing each other. Just Google Escher and you'll see. Now, I decided to do the Impossible Waterfall (Not sure what it's really called) or you can now say, Impossible Flume! This took 4 days or so to pencil-outline and to ink it with a .005 tip stippling pen. I will also post the Mantis stippling soon. It's done, but I just need to scan it, resize and yea..you know the drill...post it on TPR. Anyway, enjoy! Wee! We're gonna.....SPLASH!!
  5. I think Hershey Park should get a shuttle loop and name it "The Hershey Squirts" and sell Hershey's Chocolate syrup at the exit. Seriously, when I first heard the name 'Montezooma's Revenge' at KBF, I thought: "Diarrhea: The Ride!"
  6. I'll definitely have to believe that Oakland-San Francisco has terrible traffic issues. Every morning on the news, they always show the McArthur Maze slowed down to a crawl, if not complete stoppage.
  7. Are you guys using DVD-R or DVD+R? If you're using -R, good. If you're using +R, I'd switch to -R as it's more compatible with most DVD players out there...as I've learned at work. Also, as far as compatible DVD players, I'd recommend the CyberHome CH300 series...they have worked with my burnt DVDs.
  8. I'm not sure what our elevation is but definitely no snow. I did happen to go up to the Sierras yesterday though...(no Photo TR, sorry...) for some 'snow-coastering' or tubing/sledding. I actually had airtime, bumpiness, more airtime, and got to enjoy it again, backwards! Now, I wish I got several POVs of it as each ride was unique.
  9. Dangit!!! I thought you were serious at first. Definitely a great way to get everyone's attention to resolve this issue.
  10. I, along with 20 other employees, got laid off from work today, thanks to Yes Video...(work of the devil). Ritz Camera has been one of our major stores we did DVD transferring for for 15 years now and they decide to switch over to Yes Video because of their automated transfer machines and stuff. So what will I do now for the time being? I dunno just yet...
  11. RCT brings back several memories for me. First-off, my friend brought his copy over (in which I'll admit, I actually put our CD burner to use for the first time:) ) This game has definitely added to the coaster addiction I already had. It helped a lot during the off season. I finally went out and bought the Loopy Landscapes expansion as I liked the game so much, so much that I was failing some classes...lol. From then on, I bought RCT2 on the day of release, got RCT3 prior to it's actual release, bought Soaked and finally recieved Wild as a gift.
  12. Some more info about the Disko 'coaster': Reading a Bay Area Parent booklet at the hospital earlier, in their "Summer Survival Guide" they had an article on themepark safety and what's new in the bay area. They didn't give details on what the ride did (but we already know it's a disko) but it did say it had a "Survivor" theme and it was to have fire/water elements and effects as part of the theme for the ride. Also, they said the ride was like 4 stories. This sounds quite awesome if you ask me.
  13. We should re-name the park "Six-six-six flags Tragic Mountain" or SSSTM for short. Re-create SFMM in a deadly manner.
  14. Happy B-day TPR! You'll be saying the same for me tomorrow...lol. It's weird how I registered/found the forums on my birthday. See? Milestone birthday for TPR (turned 1) and me (turning 21).
  15. Spam: Scientifically Processed Animal Matter! As gross as the acronym's meaning sounds, this stuff's actually good. I haven't eaten spam in a long time. When I did, we'd mix it with mac 'n cheese.
  16. Here we are, on the escalator ride, we're on the escalator ride...This is the cool escalator ride. It's the escalator ride! Do-do-do-do-da-do-do!" He began dancing as he had this flashback and hit his head on the queue railing. Elissa came up with some plain pasta and offered it to Robb. He ate it within 1 bite and then...
  17. Flesh-eating marshmallow donkey! It prepared to attack and suddenly Robb ate the whole thing and headed to an Intamin coaster. The ride op denied Robb from riding so in return, he...
  18. That's what I've been doing all along as well as far as videos. As for animated pix (like my infamous headbanger avatars) I used Flash and created a frame-by-frame animation and exported it as a *.gif. I'll have to try Imageready's importing quicktime thingy tonight.
  19. Intamin/dunno the rest.
  20. Did you go into detail with Space Mountain and make all of the little special effects like the warp tunnel and stars?
  21. Speaking of defects, I've seen shirts at the flea market (Like nike shirts) with the logo stamped upside down. I wonder how many people didn't notice that when they purchased it.
  22. But SFMW already has a froghopper...why a second hopper? In that case, let's throw in another boomerang on the other end of the park with a Warner Bros theme or something like that.
  23. Today, I went with a church youth group to the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds to go paintballing. Before I bring on the pictures, here's my written trip review portion. First off, the field consists of 5 speed ball fields, in which we only played 2 of them. The fields are nice and the head guy is really cool but the rest of the staff is just...um yea...lazy and careless, or extremely strict and stubborn. You can kinda say that this is the Six Flags of paintball fields: Potential but poorly ran. My first rant was that it took us a whole whopping hour for our intermediate player group to get started as the ref was too lazy to direct us to the field. Also, they took forever to refill the CO2 tanks as they had to swap. Our ref was extremely strict as far as ball velocity goes. Over half of the players were kicked off the field to re-chronograph (Measure/adjust fire speed.) Second rant was that our MVP player was called out from an old paint mark from 5 games before. (You'll see him later:)) Otherwise, besides those kinks, everything went great. Part of the group went into the beginner (rental guns only) and the rest of us into intermediate (Self equipped players). So, enough blabber and onto the photos! The whole group! I'm on the left wearing the grey shirt holding the gun up to my friend Ivan's head.(well, right side of group) So, what flavor is this? Paint flavor! I was spitting green for 10 minutes after Surrender Spree.mpg Video of the Surrender Spree...ref calls him out due to a 5-game old splat. Uh-Oh...Mike's one crazy guy...he goes on a mad-man suicide run! (See video below) Uh...this ain't good! CO2 O-ring broke on me...I'm replacing it on the field. 3-man dorito meeting! (Me, my friend Mike, and fellow team mate) See? He did get pwned! Actually, it's his team mate and the angle of the shot looks like a headshot. My brother waiting to pwn someone...or get pwned himself! Here I am, running to take cover at the 'dorito' bunker! Youth Group leader, Ron, takes cover and already knows what to do! Who says girls can't 'ball? (More of the youth group) Not bad for newbs...er beginners. This was part of the youth group...they have never played. PWN3D!!! This was my first game of the day and I was gogged within the first minute of gameplay.
  24. Hmmm...I see potential for a paintball field...I mean, the president busts would make great bunkers as PB players get the joy of shooting presidents while attempting to eliminate the opposing team.
