Its sad to see a Giovanola/intamin invert go away. Im surprised no other parks have bought it. Wiki says that coaster cost 20 million usd. Damn. I wish Giovanola could of stuck around. It would be neat seeing them competing against Beamer and intamin, as well as working with them.
The goliath at sfmm scenes didn't look to bad. The weird looping coaster looked horrible. I still say try out the game and see how it is. RCT3 looked horrible at first, and ended up being pretty fun after the expansion packs.
To bad that drop isn't the same height as the tower. Can you guys imagine a 500-600 foot drop at a 85 degree angle. It would feel like you were dropping forever.
Regarding the track, never put much stock in the "literalness" of video renderings of proposed new rides.
I didnt until blahblahson said this was intamins first attempt at that train and track style.
Wait, is Intamin actually using that track style? I thought they only updated the pov and didnt feel like changing the track. It would be a huge let down if thats the actual track. Intamin track is so smooooth
Many coasters are famous just for being famous. Some because of this gimmick or that gimmick, its height, speed, or location. What coaster do you find to be overrated?
Raptor
Thunderhawk
BTR
Talon
Wicked Twister
Volcano the blast coaster
Patriot
This year gonna ride after burn and banshee which should change my list a little!
I know I am going to get some backlash for this, and I am totally fine with that. I think CP should get a 4th dem coaster. I think RMC/S&S could make a very sweet coaster. I saw how the magnets control the flips on BTR at SFFT and I can imagine what they could come up with on a larger full circuit coaster!
