  1. Disney for the experience, Cedar Point for the roller coasters. I've never been to Disney, but from what I've heard nothing beats it, so I'll choose Disney. I don't even really know much about Disney but everything I've seen/heard is glorifying it, and it is the largest park in the world. I also think that Cedar Point is over rated, I could name a few parks that I would rather go to (Hershey, Silver Dollar City etc.) Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to go to Cedar Point (mainly because of Maverick and Gatekeeper), but I think that Disney would be a better experience (I haven't been to either parks). To me, Silver Dollar City looks like one of the best parks because it has both great roller coasters (and I love roller coasters) AND great theming.
  2. Granted, but when you finish your computer crashes. I wish that Valleyfair would get a B&M.
  3. Huh, I've never had a trimmed ride (at least I never felt it) on Mad Mouse before, I guess I just got lucky a lot... Also, Garyman6, is there a reason you're posting your Carowinds trip report on the Valleyfair thread (e.g. as a hint, like 2016 has something to do with Carowinds)?
  4. I had Renegade at Valleyfair all to myself today in the back seat. It was amazing!
  5. The park was completely dead today, I had a private ride on Renegade, which has never happened to me before. Everything was a complete walk-on. I actually think that there were more people at my church this morning than there were at the park, it was really strange. I noticed something strange though, I rode Mad Mouse (there was no line, why not) and they were trimming it to death, does this happen often? I felt as if we were barely going to make it over the last hill. I was really surprised at the amount of space this waterpark expansion is going to take up, it was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. It makes me really excited for the next coaster. Corkscrew was actually running decent today. Renegade was relentless as always, High Roller and Mad Mouse were trimmed to death. Overall it was an amazing day!
  6. I saw these guys! They were singing along with the music, and they were DEFINITELY NOT reading the script. One of their names was Drew, not sure who the others were... Anyway, they made all the other rides' announcements seem boring, and they made my day! We need more people like this. "Please place your loose articles in the bin... That we built... During lunch... Yesterday. Check out that craftsmanship"
  7. Where in the parking lot is that? Is it over by the Dinos, or is it the staff parking lot? That is a REALLY big area so I'm excited to see what the future holds.
  8. This is exactly the same for me.
  9. I really want an RMC, but I think that we will be getting something steel for our next coaster, something with inversions. Reason is that it will be 13 years since the last steel coaster (Steel Venom), and 17 years since the last full-circuit coaster (Mad Mouse) when 2016 comes around. I think we're due for steel. I don't care if it's B&M or Intamin or Mack, or if it has inversions ir if it's above or below the track as long as it's not a Vekoma (especcialy a relocated one). Again, I would love an RMC, but it just doesn't seem realistic because we got Renegade as our last coaster.
  10. It got removed recently from ITAL website so it got sold but it might've been around 1 million USD or something like that. Did you mean $11 million USD? 1 million seems a little low for a B&M.
  11. Pretty much any GCI, but I found Renegade especially photogenic (maybe that's because it's at my home park).
  12. Sorry for the double post, but this is another really funny video. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Also, there is a new Manhattan Express video.

  14. Trim-less rides on High Roller are really fun. I normally get trim-less rides when they aren't running two trains, so go to VF on the non-busy days (Thursdays work beautifully) to have a better chance of an air-time filled ride.
  15. I'm pretty sure I would say Phoenix if I could get to it, but I really like High Roller at Valleyfair. I normally get trim-less rides so there is lots of airtime! I also like the buzz bars.
  16. This place is huge! How big are you going to make it until you stop (let's hope it's a long time because you don't see much architecture stuff on this forum, and there is nothing on here that goes into as much detail as you do)? I really like the new Akimbo area, the neon was a nice touch, and those abstract cement-things (the white pieces that look very interesting) are cool. Keep up the good work, also, will we be seeing anymore rides in the near-future or is it going to stay architecture for a while (I would be completely Ok if all you did was architecture, you've put so many tiny details into this thing it's remarkablel!)? And if you decide to do another coaster, could you make either an Arrow or Morgan hyper, or a woodie. Just a couple suggestions... Can't wait to see more updates!
  17. ^I found this TOGO that's in China. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  18. You said that there was markings away from the soak city area, and you know how some people were saying earlier in the discussion about getting soak city AND a flat ride in the same year. I doubt it's going to happen but it's fun to speculate!
  19. ^^ I meant it to be a hypothetical situation, I don't believe it, nor do I believe Cedar Fair dropped Intamin. It was just a scenario.
  20. Absolutely: Valleyfair Nickelodeon Universe Maybe: Disney World Spirit Mountain Adventureland (Iowa) Probably not, but Hopefully: Little Amerricka Worlds of Fun
  21. Yes. Do you think that Six Flags should be bought by Cedar Fair?
  22. So, according to Merriam-Webster, Colossus means "A statue that is much bigger than life size". I think that they should make some giant statue in the plaza somewhere. Just a thought.
  23. Wow, these are some quality boxes of crap! Just wondering, where did the TPR gang shirt come from?
  24. ^^ I agree, from what I've seen of Frontier Town (I've never been to "the Point") it looks like it is very well done, I think that all of these people have Disaster Transport stuck in their heads.
