http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=69596 So, this was supposed to feature all of the good posts. But that made me think, shouldn't that be all of the posts that don't end up on this thread?

-Take pictures -Talk to people (Friends, I've only talked to a stranger twice at an amusement park.) -See how many rides I can see from the queue -Stare at the coaster track/wheels/brakes/train/supports. The nerdy stuff. -Listen for those wonderful "GP" comments. -Listen for complaints about the park's Fast Lane system -Daydream

A little bit of jazz with a wonderful trumpet solo and a vocal thing.

Theme parks and coasters in the snow
GCI Wooden replied to thrillrider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Did you take those photos yourself, or did you take them from other websites? If you took them yourself, were you in the park? Those pictures seem like they were taken from inside of the park, how did you get permission to go in the park when it was closed? -
Worst Ride Name

Why do people hate "Dog Fart Coaster"? I think it's one of the best names in the industry! -
New Coaster TV Show
GCI Wooden replied to halltd's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It's already started, I've seen an episode. It isn't the best show, but it's better than Bert The Conqueror (That show was horrible). It has an "enthusiast" show the Property brother around the park. At least we have a new coaster-related show! I'm still a firm believer that TPR should do a show, but this works for now. -

Even though I know that curve is large, it looks very small with that giant lift hill right next to it. The turn went up a lot quicker than I was expecting, with the rest of the track being so close to the ground (with a couple exceptions) the rest of the construction should fly by. -
Valleyfair (VF) Discussion Thread
GCI Wooden replied to the_rock401's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I love this so much. Thanks VF15 for screen shooting (That is the verb for taking a screen shot) and Valleyfair for doing this. I think it would be interesting, and I'm sure it would look amazing (I'm imagining Corkscrew's corkscrews being decked out in lights). I would definitely go check it out, but I'm not sure if it would be popular enough to warrant the cost of all the lights/employees/electricity. However, if Bentleyville (That light walkthrough in Duluth) can do it, VF *MIGHT* be able to pull it off, but I doubt that it will happen. It just doesn't seem like something VF would do. -

Shhhh. I can dream -
I was hesitant to put it in here, but I heard about the "coasters on the moon" thread on this thread ( which is amazing) so I figured it should be shown here. Not the dumbest.

What's your favorite Flat ride?
GCI Wooden replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^ I treat valleyfair's power tower as a observation tower. Is sad, really. I really enjoy enterprise and gerstlauer sky flys. -
Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

That is exactly what I thought when I saw that picture. This ride just looks so awesome in so many ways. -
This thread almost made me cry from laughing so hard. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28532&hilit

^ I believe S&S makes Arrow parts, so it shouldn't be a problem. I am interested what the new sign will look like, if there is a new sign (I'm still dreaming that it won't be replaced). -

^ Yes, I have always wondered why they haven't used that land. It would open up SO much space, but right now it is just grass. I believe that the parking lot is on high ground, so it shouldn't flood each year (or at least not as much), so it makes sense to put the rides there, but I would imagine it would cost a ton of money. -

^ Yes, that drop is beautiful. I love how small the guy on top of the hill looks! EDIT: I looked back now and I realize that that is not a person, sorry. -

Well, that went up quickly. I guess the low sections get built a lot quicker than I thought. After this turn is completed, the rest of the ride should be put up really fast, all the way until the turn around, because it stays pretty low to the ground. -

Wait, what is that giant hole next to the Orange/yellow building (I have never been in the water park so I don't know what it is called)? It has some really sharp corners, does anyone know what is going on there? I really hope that we see some construction soon, but has any parts arrived at the park yet? I might need to point out I know NOTHING about water slides, waterparks, or how they are made, but does anyone know what the supports will be made of (wood or steel)? -

^ I would love a Windseeker at Valleyfair. I haven't been been on one, but I really want to. Ripcord seems to be popular enough to keep it at the park, so I don't see it leaving anytime soon. -
I wish that people didn't post about their post count.
