Yeah aimless was the wrong word. Baseless? Idk, but where the hell did "Ziz" even come from? It's not a cool name. -

On you mean like "SCREAM" I always thought that was theming, like "Screaming in the Parking Lot". I'll have to check my sources.. -

This thread just makes me laugh. Throughout the entire 2015 season, nonstop conversation over "Ziz" (hate that name), and how its gonna be built for 2016. Then the announcement comes out, and there's no coaster, unsurprisingly. But without skipping a beat, the conversation immediately becomes "Ziz"; our 2017 coaster. Just cracks me up guys, I think there's more aimless speculation going on here for 2017, then there is about the 2016 additions, which are pretty badass BTW. I just think you guys are really setting yourself up for disappointment if the fabled 2017 coaster doesn't happen, I mean the 2015 season isn't even over yet haha -

This may end up being the greatest themed coaster ever built! Or the best coaster, period. I'm dying of anticipation, and the funny part is I won't be able to afford to travel there to ride it for a few years anyways -

^hmm interesting. Thanks for the tidbit of information! I was hoping this would be a Zamperla like Black Widow, but I had a good time on the Mondial version a couple seasons ago, so I think it'll be a solid addition. -

^hmmm interesting choice with all the issues they have with the Windseekers, and how reliable the Huss versions CF own have been over the past decade. -
Man, this coaster looks like it could be a pretty fantastic ride. That zero g roll looks like it'll be snappy as hell, and the first drop seems like there will be some strong airtime into some nice laterals wher it starts to twist to the left. Can't wait to see some pic's and offride vids.Mack has really been stepping up their game!

I'm sure this has already been asked/answered, but do we know who the manufacturer is? The concept art doesn't isn't always reliable, and Zamperla, Huss, Intamin, and Mondial all offer pendulum style rides. -

^^The only part of Maverick that I feel is better in the back, is the first drop. The airtime on every other hill it has is ridiculous nomatter where you sit. So why not enjoy the visuals of the front seat with it?! Just a personal preference though. I've ridden it in virtually every seat, as Ive gone to CP 4-6 every season since Mav opened, and I've just found I really prefer front left. Only thing I'd rate above it is Skyrush in the back left wing seat to be honest -

^dont forget MAVERICK! the front seat on that badboy is the best ride in the park! If possible, get the front LEFT seat, some of the really snappy transitions seem to ride better in the left seat; almost like they were heartlined to it. Try it once, and you'll sit there every time -

^^I'm voting the tallest, fastest, LONGEST, and most inversions on a dive machine. Those four world records all seem VERY doable for a new Cedar Point coaster. -

ElectricUncleSam-The vast majority of the B&M's you just listed off are early creations of theirs. All the newer B&M's are pretty accepted as being ALOT less forceful than all the coasters you just listed. They don't build them like Kumba or Monty anymore. Where I wouldn't say that their new coasters are "forceless", I'd say that the forces are much less extreme than the rides from their golden years. In fact, the only new coaster of theirs that you put in your list is Diamondback, which some say was one of their last great hypers. -

I'm very excited for this, I love dive machines! But what makes me even MORE excited is the fact that the only other model B&M offers that CP doesn't have, and is not redundant in their current lineup, is a flyer! And if they keep sticking to B&M, and get a flyer, they'll be out of beemers to buy, and they'll HAVE to go to someone else! That's when we'll FINALLY get Steel Meaner Streak! All jokes aside, if they are truthfully getting a DM, I think it's a great fit, and Ill be there for the grand opening -
Rmc has stated multiple times that there is no such agreement, or contract, that every single enthusiast seems to know all about. About Ghost Rider though, its really a damn shame how it rides nowadays. I love CCI woodies, and GR has a great layout, full of airtime. All the jack-hammering just really ruins the experience though. Hopefully whatever they decide to do restores itto its former glory. I found my last ride on it to be very reminiscent of The Villain at GL, another CCI that went from being spectacular to spectacularly terrible in a few years upon being built. Fingers crossed its freakin RMC on the horizon though amiright?!

TOP 5 B&M INVERTED COASTERS
Nickstroberg replied to CoasterExpert13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Out of the ones I've been on: 1.Afterburn 2.Banshee 3.Talon 4.Great Bear 5.Raptor/BMTR The reason Raptor isn't higher on the list, is due to me going to cedar point when I was young. Raptor used to (at least in my memories) move so much faster. Compared to when it was newer, it just seems to crawl into/through the MCBR, I remember when it used to hit it so fast that the brakes had to bite pretty hard. If Raptor still ran as quickly as it did when it was new, it would EASILY be at the top of my list. -

I KNOW it isn't gonna happen, but I really wish this badboy would get Skyrush-style trains... The laterals on those wing seats are absolutely bonkers! And with all the twisty bits on this coaster, it would be incredible. But since those have only made one appearance, a bit back, I really don't see this happening. Plus the clearance envelope seems pretty damn tight. So my realistic hope/guess is blitz coaster trains with the seatback mounted lapbars, like the new 10inversion coasters, Red Fire(?), and that lsm coaster in Turkey. Either way, I'm sure it will be great
