Been a while since a ride scared me at GreatAdv and it did. We got slammed into the restraints on the first of our two flips and mine wasn't very tight and I almost shat myself. I'll have more to say tomorrow, I just got home and I'm tired. We rode a ton and had a great day. I got slammed into the restraint and headrest on the Free Fly in Texas, my subsequent rides weren't as painful though. That's the crazy part of these things, you really get a different ride every single time.

I had a dream last week, my friend and I were at Cedar Point and RMC was working on Mean Streak and letting us take test rides on it even though the track work wasn't completed. All the wood was gone and it was an all steel structure. Was very odd.

Skyrocket II models are amazing, packs quite a punch in a short amount of time. I think one would be perfect for a park like WoF

They also built the Giant in a very small warehouse, like 1500 sq ft or something. Now they have a huge state of the art facility. There's no reason they couldnt finish Mean Streak on time barring any crazy weather. The only thing that's still is an asterisk is CP's announced water park expansion and the fact that Valravn was a major investment just this year. Would Ouimet and Co. invest so heavily in close proximity?

I don't know where people keep getting this four projects thing from, no one has been able to actually produce any evidence of Alan saying this, or even Fred, no videos, quotes or anything. I don't recall any of them ever saying anything about 2017, never mind these apparent four projects in the works. I'd love to be proven wrong though. Its an interview with Alan at IAAPA in 2014, its on youtube look it up.

I cant help but wonder if the four projects RMC had on tap for 2017 (according to Alan Schilke) may have been pushed back due to the Lightning Rod debacle.
