Based on fan-made POVs on youtube, it should be around a minute and 15 seconds of ride time, and that's without a lift hill. That's pretty long, comparatively speaking to the other large scale Intamins in the area - El Toro, Skyrush and I305 are all less than a minute from drop to brakes and are often considered three of the best rides on the planet.

I have lost track how many times I've ridden Zum and this has not once ever happened to me or anyone I've ridden with. I know its a possibly and they have signage everywhere but I think you just got unlucky.

The train nearby is very loud. The rooms are weird, but clean. Overall it feels a little shady but really isn't. I would stay there again just for the price point and location. But maybe bring some ear plugs.

Yeah but on a normal summer day everyone is at the beach and the piers are absolutely dead until 6/7pm, so why on earth would they waste money staffing the piers in the daytime for no one to show up when they can't get staff to begin with? Evening only hours makes perfect sense.

Yeah Morey's tickets are incredibly steep for what you're getting, at least from an enthusiast perspective. A wristband is always the way to go, sucks they aren't selling them. I haven't redeemed my Wild Card and likely won't at this point, since they'll be honoring it next year. Summer bummer 4real.

Not to mention, perspective is everything. At 85% of parks Rougarou would be considered a top tier coaster, but its in the same park as 3 to 4 of the top ranked coasters the world over. Of course its not going to be seen as "great" when its sandwiched -literally- between Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster.

I don't think its unreasonable to expect every coaster be great at the self proclaimed Roller Coaster Capital of the World. (Or are we back to Americas Roller Coast? I can't keep up.) Anyways, they're not far off. Vest restraints on Corkscrew would make a huge difference, a nice full-on retracking of Blue Streak and some new trains, and just rip that god awful mine train out and put in something awesome back there. Rest of the line-up is some variety of great, imo. (I'm partial to impulses, and yeah maybe Rougarou isn't OMFG GREAT but I enjoyed our ride last year and its certainly better than a fu*kin standup.)

Can't speak on Casino Pier but Castaway Cove is open and Gale Force has been running, a friend was there a few times the last few days.
