  1. I would assume they had an issue with it that wasn't worth fixing just to run it one more weekend.
  2. If you do smart things like check the app and the website, yes they did.
  3. Soooo late last night I was tumbling down a Youtube coaster rabbit hole and came across this video of a review of El Toro (I know we're not supposed to link to certain channels but for the sake of this story please don't ban me lolol - its a good channel I guess, not as amazing as TPR of course. I think I'm somehow contractually obligated to say that or something). Anyways, the only issue is the review is in German and I don't speak German. So I decided to turn on auto-translate. I then I proceeded to howl with laughter for the next ten minutes. Enjoy. It starts off innocently enough And then he starts talking about the lockers and I started to lose it. And then things start to get kind of weird At this point I was laughing like a f*cking hyena. Absolutely dead, hope you all got as much enjoyment out of this as I did.
  4. Did they happen to mention how heavy that train is?
  5. Solely based on places I've been and *only* considering the coasters... Hersheypark Cedar Point Busch Tampa Six Flags Great Adventure Busch Williamsburg
  6. That blows, Bayern Kurve is awesome.
  7. Are we talking about filled with fat ACErs or without?
  8. Flipping Lion, Tumbling Elephant
  9. Cyborg is terrible, they should totally rip it out, I don't even care if they replace it or not. Just finish JDC and we have one of the best lineups on the planet.
  10. OK these are freaking cool. https://cedarpointonlineshop.com/
  11. "Loopier Coasters" definitely sounds like SF marketing jargon.
  12. Great Adventures' Saw Mill Log Flume (pre-Covid of course) will cram as many unfortunately souls as humanly possible into one of those logs. Awkward doesn't even begin to describe the experience.
  13. I just don't see how having the ability to claim this magical number 20 is some marketing holy grail SFMM. If no other park in the area even comes close, can't the park just settle on a "f*ckton of coasters" and roll with that? I can just imagine the Zoom meeting where they're reviewing which rides would be most cost effective to remove and someone brings up a coaster and someone else cuts them off all "nah, not so fast - no coasters. I don't care how much of a money suck that thing is, we still haven't been able to market 20 coasters yet so it stays until we can".
  14. What other park in the competitive Cali market is even close to 20 coasters?
  15. If you're planning on going to this place this weekend you're insane.
  16. I can't tell if you're serious or joking but either way this is hilarious. I, for one, am flat out impressed at the number of experienced maintenance workers on this forum all of a sudden.
  17. Great White and that entire pier never opened this year. Word on the island is it did receive some track work this year and the new trains are still coming, but I can't get anything more solid than maybe 2021, maybe 2022. And in case people don't know what we're referencing: https://www.moreyspiers.com/buying-a-coaster
  18. I mean its Hershey so people will go, but yeah screw that.

  20. Candymonium is the only new credit I got in 2020.
  21. This is why you go on Sundays in October. Saturdays at Hershey always seem to be insane. Candy had a 2 hour line at opening when we were there a few weeks ago (on a Sunday) but everything else was 15-25 minutes. Later in the day Candy was down to 20 minutes.
  22. I am curious to know what the Skyrush wait was at that time.
