  1. Already posted in the previous page, but it's nice to see it bigger. And I can't get tired of looking at it! And come on, a dead-round loop!
  2. Here is a video of a testrun, took by me: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] I was lucky enough to capture one right when I was looking at the webcam!
  3. ^ True indeed. It's like on Mack Youngstar, where ou can actually hit your knee with the car in front of you.
  4. ^ Kanonen's straps (same as I305) took my glasses off... Be carefull indeed... And it looks like those new restraints are gonna slam the face of an ope if people pull them too early and then realize there is nothing to strap them on. Granted it will happen.
  5. It will uses the Infinity trains, as we can read on OCEM Marchetti.it: One of the two is Karnan, the other is this one. Nice shade of green by the way!
  6. Yeah that's a normal top-hat (contrary to what Coastersandmore is stating) and a very stretched loop. The first dive-loop looks almost non-inverted too, more like a dive than an inversion. So to sum-up, this looks like a great and quite unusual layout! Looks tall as well. Very intrigued and interested.
  7. The headbanging won't be a problem, but the ride is packed with laterals! OTSR that need to be fasten by hand by the way, as the lap-bar opens toward the front... Uggh. And they could have at least get rid of that shin gard... But nope.
  8. That's a T-bar! And the pad should be the same as Bombora or Wonder Mountain Guardian, as those are made by ART as well. As always, thanks for the pictures.
  9. While it's not quite yet a large Intamin-y ejector hill, that's the best-looking RMC airtime hill to come! Way sharper than in the animation. Sometimes, it's the simple things that work best. By the way, preview of the element:
  10. What about the brick square at the base of the lift's tower that was on the concepts? I really like it, it looks a little bit bare without it.
  11. Well, me too - yet Klugheimleaks is really like an "underground" website and I don't think the GP have a clue of its existance. So basically the secret is shared through what, a hundred of people at max. And I'm sure Phantasialand will still be able to surprises us!
  12. I really like the ride's poster...
  13. And how having someone next to you would have prevented it? See what happened on New Texas Giant. It will only stick a horrendous picture in the head of the witness - yet I don't always carefully watch for my pal when riding a coaster. Perhaps in the US, but here in Europe you certainly can ride them alone. I rode the two Ferris Wheel at Liseberg on my own (one has closed gondola cabins, but the other one is open-air), and nobody said something.
  14. With your feet on the floor, you feel more vibrations than when they're not. (If the ride has any vibrations in the first place)
  15. Thanks for the report! JLBM is my most anticiped non-coaster ride in 2015 for sure. The only concern I would have - but seeing all the efforts put into this I'm confident - is that if ever they'll use the squinching technic for their medias. You know, when the film distort itself as the vehicule goes by, to emulate a 3D environment.
  16. Alos Joe Draves, don't forget Joe Draves. He designed the Polercoaster, Lightning Run... I don't know if he's working with RMC though, or if it's Alan only.
  17. ^^ Wow, awesome link, thanks for sharing! We should definitely keep an eye on it. Intamin track! But the cross-ties are now all-round, no more box-shaped ties. From Klugheimleaks.
  18. Not true, at all. Any drop that is 90° or more are inevitably forced on a coaster. Since the train has a horizontal speed due to the lift's curvature, it will never go full vertical on its own (not taking in account wind or air resistance). Here's a exemple on Newton²: The train has next to no speed at the top. A geometric section is curved with a constant radius until it reaches 0g. Then, the 0g is sustained. I could makes it go for a while and it won't change, it makes an asymptotic shape : it gets closer to vertical, but never reaches it. EDIT : ^ Glad we agree.
  19. For the first time, I was able to catch some! And I filmed one with a decent quality, if anyone's interested:
  20. viking86 got it! Well done! To those who're not familiar with this (awesome looking) coaster:
  21. The manufacturer is Russian! That should gives it away.
  22. To be fair, there's like about 10 posts for the beams color, and then 20 more about how it's unrevelent to talk about beams color...
  23. Thank you sir, you made my day! One thing I don't really like on the RMCs, especially the rebuilds, is their unfinished look. Now if everything is repainted, wow I can't wait to see the result! Plus, with the green and blue track, it'll really pops out. @Superbatboy about those tiny airtime hills - I don't think they'll ride like LR, their radius is far more spread out. Actually, I don't really like them on TC, because they look like they're fillers. Plus they're almost flat, so what? A pop of floater..?
  24. You guys are takling about the apex, but I think the pullout is really playing a key role in this debate. The more angle you have, the longer/taller pullout you'll need!
  25. ^ You sure the grey metal beams will be painted white? If so, that's a great news!
