  1. Watched the original Scream a while back. Very good, combines a who dun it type thriller with slasher while satirizing some of the horror movie genre. Manages to be very scary without just using a bunch of jump scares.
  2. I would agree that for how much money the players drive in for the schools, which is an incredible amount, they should probably be better compensated. But if playing college sports is as excruciating as this video makes it seem, then why are there so many student athletes? The main thing is that most athletes can't work because of sports commitments, so they should be compensated for that. The NCAA has become a big business, but the players seem to be doing fine. How many players have spoken out about how miserable life is playing a college sport? Not many. Another thing to consider is that there has to be regulation on the payment of student athletes because otherwise big schools would essentially be able to buy the best players and small schools would be left in the dust. My viewpoint is that because college sports are essentially as popular as pro sports these days, and drive in nearly as much money, why not pay players like semi-professional athletes. So yes, I think college athletes should be paid, but I think that video blows things out of proportion.
  3. I agree, but for a lot of people it is a very important factor. It really depends on the type of coaster. On a woodie or a mega coaster, airtime is everything. On a looper, airtime is obviously not a big factor. So in some cases airtime actually is a large part of what makes a coaster good.
  4. This looks good and all, but mark my words, Bourbon Street Fireball will be the best sleeper ride of the year.
  5. Hi everyone, I'm sure we have a lot of college basketball fans on the forums here so I thought I'd start a TPR March Madness thread where you can post your entire brackets, predictions, who you thought should have / should not have been in, everything! Maybe we could even start a TPR tournament challenge on ESPN just for fun!
  6. Yeah I just realized I coukd use MOM to make it work. I'll try that. Thanks for the help!
  7. Yeah the signs are low but I want them to be. For the road, I think thats because its a diagonal road tile so I can't raise all of the land around it. (I'm using Kong's road tiles)
  8. My second project is coming along well. Going for a very natural and almost wild vibe with this one. SCR222.BMP Here are the parking lines and booths. Drop off lane is the top one. This park will also be much more realistic than my last one.
  9. IGN just posted a video about Fury 325 on youtube. If anyone is in need of some quality entertainment, go check the comment section.
  10. And I'm trying my best to win the Powerball. If they were trying to open in mid-april the track would have to have been completed about a month ago or more.
  11. This is a really good layout. It flows nicely, and I love the zero g roll over the entrance area. Very nice custom invert. One thing I willl say though is that this could benefit greatly from some scenery and theming. The station does this pretty well, and I know you dont use CS so this may be harder, but I think a stormy apocalyptic theme would be great here. I think overall it just needs a but more flare and style to the area around the coaster, not just the station. The layout is great, however, I love how it's small, but not jumbled, it all flows very nicely and the elements all work well. The coaster is great, and everything looks pretty clean, but I would try to add some more theming and style around the coaster just to take it that one step further.
  12. Don't worry, I'm definitely keeping Wicked Cyclone, I just didn't like the MCBR location before. I think I'll keep the layout as it is now. As far as progress on getting rid of WW and TT objects, I downloaded ParkDat, which allows me to view and delete any scenery objects (I think). Does anyone know if ParkDat can sort objects so WW and TT are separated? That would make it easier to get rid of any objects if I have any. If I have a lot of WW and TT objects, It'll take some time to get rid of them and replace them.
  13. And then they will all bow down to Iron Little Dipper at SfGam. Just imagine the possibilities.
  14. SFNW YEAR 2 UPDATE Hello All, Six Flags North Woods is back with a year 2 update. As always, any type of feedback is encouraged. SCR194.BMP This whole back area of the park became much more vibrant due to the popularity of Wicked Cyclone SCR199.BMP Roar's popularity decreased slightly at the end of the year SCR200.BMP Bet you didn't see this coming: At the end of the year, Wicked Cyclone's MCBR was moved and replaced with a double-down SCR204.BMP As a result, the ride was temporarily closed SCR206.BMP Nitro continues to bring in large numbers SCR209.BMP Immelman! 17. That's not what your post said. I'll admit, that statement was probably an over generalization and overreaction. To clarify, its the idea that you can't complain about something without trying to fix it yourself that I don't agree with here, in some cases I do, but not here. Looks like I forgot to turn my sarcasm detector on today.
  18. This man speaks the truth. I don't think he was thinking we actually fix it ourselves either, its the idea and attitude that I don't agree with .
  19. Yes, but, Six Flags has more than enough time and money to do this themselves, and since they are the park and we are the customers, it's a bit illogical for the customers to do this since the customers are paying the company to experience a quality park. Why should the customers have to pay and work to improve a park that they are already giving loads of money to in order for that park to operate and improve? Time and money issues are not the problem, it's attention to records and titles rather than detail and quality control. This isn't to say that I won't visit SFMM, in fact it's pretty high on my list of parks I want to visit. But suggesting that we are responsible for its improvement I do not agree with.
  20. Actually if my memory serves me correctly, Boron is the fifth element.
