  1. This reminds me of the people who complained about noise at the board meeting for Goliath this year. I mean, you to move next to an amusement park, (unless you were there before the park was built) you should expect some noise.
  2. Thank you for your response. I actually am trying to use names and themes from other six flags coasters for my coasters. I wanted to stick within the confines of what types of coasters Six Flags has bought (X-Flight being an exception). I was considering changing the color scheme for Wicked Cyclone, maybe it'll be different for the final version of the park. An interesting tidbit is that I actually built Wicked Cyclone by building and editing on a preexisting Cyclone coaster made by someone else. It is based off of Robbie92's Santa Fe Cyclone from his park, Six Flags Santa Fe (which can be found on New Element). As for custom scenery, I'm really just beginning with using it. I don't have that much so there isn't a lot in this park.
  3. And here is the new update! This update will see the completion of county fair. As before, please comment if you like. SCR89.BMP Picking up where we left off, here is the Orbit and some food stalls SCR90.BMP And here is Zumanjaro : Drop of Doom. Standing 400 feet tall! SCR92.BMP And here is the first major coaster reveal : Nitro! Built by B&M in 1999 SCR93.BMP Nitro's station and queue SCR94.BMP Nitro dives into a tunnel, reaching nearly 70 mph SCR95.BMP Nitro then shoots into a low, sweeping right hand turn that pulls high Gs SCR96.BMP With Nitro, I tried to combine elements of both Raging Bull and Apollo's chariot SCR97.BMP Here is most of Nitro's second half. I really wanted to make the environment work with this coaster, so there are lots of trees surrounding the coaster, and the coaster has a few hills over the river SCR98.BMP Here is a pizza stall and gift shop, with X-Flight's keyhole visible at the bottom SCR99.BMP Across the river is also a kid's area, with some small flats SCR100.BMP And here is the county fair food court! I was inspired by SfGam's food court for this one, and I like how it turned out overall SCR101.BMP Here is Whirligig as well as some other county fair scenery SCR102.BMP Here is a nice spot for guests to eat, relax and enjoy the park's scenery SCR103.BMP Pictured here is Chaotic, similar to orbit, but flips, and Spin Out, as well as a Donut shop and Burger shop SCR104.BMP Here is the next big coaster reveal! What could it be? SCR105.BMP Introducing Wicked Cyclone! New for 2015! An RMC conversion of the old Cyclone that was built in 1992. SCR106.BMP Wicked Cyclone climbs 130 feet, and reaches speeds over 60 mph! There are also over 15 airtime moments! SCR107.BMP Here is Wicked Cyclone's drop! SCR108.BMP After the drop, riders experience a double-up and overbanked turn! SCR110.BMP Here is Wicked Cyclone's turn around on the other end, which features highly banked turns and a double-down! SCR112.BMP Wicked Cyclone also features crazy banked hills like this one, which provide sideways airtime! SCR113.BMP Wicked Cyclone overview, I was going for a disaster / apocalyptic theme with this one. SCR114.BMP And here is an overview of what was revealed in this update! Stay tuned for more! Next up is Southwest Territory!
  4. Sorry about the lack of update but an update is coming tomorrow! Lots of content in this one. County Fair is finished and 2 major coasters will be revealed!
  5. I agree its worth it for this park to get platinum as there are a lot of good flats to ride so there's more time for those if you aren't waiting in line all day.
  6. I'd get back to Goliath as soon as possible. Most people go to Bull and Superman first. After Goliath, I would go to Eagle and X-Flight and Demon then Southwest territory for Bull and Viper. After those, I'd head for whizzer then head to superman and go up to mardis gras and yankee harbor for BTR and V2. And after that you'll be back to Goliath. Essentially you'd be going in a circle clockwise from Goliath. But this is just a suggestion, the park is pretty compact, so there are many ways to get around.
  7. Crowds won't be terrible during the week, but expect A LOT of school grouos. Crowds on days with school groups should thin later in the day though.
  8. Got some good work in today. Update likely late tommorow. Can't wait to show you guys what I've got coming up in County Fair, especially my next big coaster which will be likely revealed tommorow, but can actually be seen in some of the earlier shots.
  9. So way back when last off season I think, during an off season tour or something I remeber something along the lines of a park official dropping a clue for the parks future that "coasters are in our D.N.A" or something like that. So could Dive be the first letter of this clue?
  10. This. This is true. And pretty much all of the GEICO "it's what you do" commercials.
  11. Thanks for the compliment! I really like X-Flight myself. I actually had a premier launched coaster there that I didn't like so much so I switched to a blitz coaster which at first was called Chang, but the theming was difficult to do for that so I re-themed it to X-Flight.
  12. Thank you for your response. I was unsure at first about the corkscrews on demon, but I actually like them now. As for custom supports, I have them in my scenery but I'm not sure how to use them, but I would consider custom supports if I learned how to use them.
  13. ^I'm a packer fan and agree it's a silly rule, but it is a rule, and Bryant could not maintain possession through the catch. I am scared about Seattle next week though.
  14. Hi everyone! Six Flags North Woods is a park located just west of Milwaukee, WI. I started this project a little more than a year ago and lost interest, but now am back to working on it. It is NOT a story-line park. Although the coasters have years for when they were built. The park is already planned out. Most of the rides, and all of the coasters are already in place, although modifications may be made in the future. I am hoping to periodically update this thread showing the additions to the park until it is complete in which I may put it up for download depending on demand. All coasters are custom built, and custom scenery is used. So, without further ado, here is what I have in the park so far. Let me know what you guys think! I think my architecture could definitely use work. Stay tuned for the next update! SCR73.BMP Here is the entrance which which will be improved in the future since it's pretty bad now. SCR74.BMP More of the unfinished entrance with Sky Trek Tower visible SCR75.BMP The first themed area is Gotham City SCR77.BMP Gotham city features a variety of flats as well as a pictorium SCR78.BMP And here is the entrance plaza for.... SCR79.BMP Batman : The Ride! Which in this case is not a clone! SCR80.BMP The rest of Batman's layout, which was built by B&M in 1995 SCR81.BMP Next to Gotham is the County Fair section SCR82.BMP This shot shows, although hard to see, the County Fair Picnic area SCR83.BMP More CF scenery SCR84.BMP Zoomed out SCR85.BMP And here is the Demon! Built by Arrow in 1986. SCR86.BMP And here is, in my opinion, one of the best coasters I've ever made. X-Flight! An Intamin Blitz coaster with a launched lift hill and vertical drop built in 2011. SCR87.BMP Another angle of X-Flight with the unfinished Southwest territory visible SCR88.BMP And here is an overview of what has been completed so far!
  15. Good News! We have six new pics of Wicked Cyclone from the RMC facebook page.
  16. The park has stated on twitter that it was not affected at all by the quake.
  17. www.rollercoastersofthepacificnw.com/pages/phare.html Here is a website which has some information on what was most likely the coaster you found.
  18. Whizzer does usually have a fairly lengthy line. It generally has similar wait times as the major coasters in the park. On a Wednesday, however, it should be no more than 30 minutes.
  19. Yeah they are a dark teal, but to me they are more green than blue. I think they should have just repainted the current ones since they look to be in pretty bad condition.
  20. Am I the only one who thinks it looks better with the current supports rather than the green ones?
