  1. Here's something I noticed over at SfGamWorld, and looked at myself. It appears Brandon Bruce is no longer going to be the PR guy for SfGam. On his Linked In profile it says Past-Six Flags Great America Public Relations - Feb. 2012-April 2014, and Current- Six Flags Over Georgia Marketing Manager - April 2014 - Present. From what I've heard he's a really nice and awesome guy, so it's too bad to see him leave. I think this is kind of strange because he was just interviewed in that construction video from Lake County's youtube.
  2. If it were me, I'd put in a launched Mack multi-looper like Blue Fire or Helix.
  3. It's definitely meh, it's not a big hit with the GP or enthusiasts. I've never waited more than 30 min for it.
  4. It was in 2009 with Terminator (now Apocalypse) at SFMM. Also, wasn't El Toro down for a bit on opening weekend? They could have been called in to check it out. I remember last year when a similar thing happened at SfGam, although I think this turned out to be just some random guy who bought an RMC sweatshirt online.
  5. To me, it looks like the second right most track piece is for a loop on an invert. (The right circle on the previous post)
  6. On a different note, I used a capacity calculator (on the games forum) to approximate Goliath's capacity. If the total ride duration (dispatch and circuit) is 3 minutes the capacity will be 960 pph, if it is 2:30 the capacity will be 1152 pph, and at 2:15 it will be 1280 pph. What do you guys think the total ride time will be counting dispatch time?
  7. 2014 Park Map! https://www.sixflags.com/sites/default/files/sfgam_fullmap.pdf Height requirement for Goliath is 48 in., Golaith snacks will feature nachos, pretzels, and popcorn.
  8. 3 months ago, Cheetah Hunt. When was the last time you rode a wooden coaster over 125 feet tall?
  9. Opening is still set for 5/24, media day is 5/22, and passholder preview is 5/23.
  10. Granted, but you forget that Superman : Escape from Krypton is at SFMM. I wish I could go on a coaster trip through Germany.
  11. ^They almost always leave the cranes up overnight, they usually stop work around 5pm, but start around 7 am. You can tell by the amount of cars in the lot as well.
  12. granted, but the old forceful rides currently in existence are torn down I wish I had NL2 and knew how to use it.
  13. Ride Kumba later in the day, it's much better than early. You should have light crowds, so you should easily get multiple rides on the good coasters, or spend more time viewing animal exhibits and shows. I would recommend Zambia Smokehouse for good food at an ok price (at least compared to SF parks). If you need the credit, I would recommend hitting Gwazi early, it has terrible capacity, but if you don't need/want the credit, I would just skip it.
  14. 2 and a half months ago (Gwazi) When's the last time you rode a Park Railway Train?
  15. Nice! The next couple years are already shaping up to be big years for the amusement industry.
  16. ^^It is being named as an "overbank" so I'm assuming it will be over 90 degrees, my guess is around 100 degrees, I think 120 might be a little high.
  17. What they should do is just make an improved rct2 with more scenery, new coaster types (ie: wing, strata, intamin accelerator, rmc topper track and i-box), more track pieces and versatility so you can make better recreations, and other small improvements. I would definitely buy that game. Rct2 was the best game they made IMO.
