  1. I personally think Fast Passes are great. I think the only people who complain about Fast Passes are the GP who are either: A.) Unable to afford to purchase a fast pass. and/or B.) Not smart enough to understand how they work. They just see it as people cutting in line. They don't understand how the system actually works. I know the older I get the more impatient I am becoming, and the less I can tolerate the GP. We buy a fast pass usually at every park we visit aside from our home park, and smaller parks that do not have, or do not need a fast pass system. However, we have recently got to the point that when we go to larger parks IE: Cedar Point, Universal, or Disney we end up booking a VIP package. To us it is the best way to ensure we can experience everything we want to experience.
  2. I second this. I still think TC will be a great coaster. However the more I am seeing of Wicked Cyclone the more I am really looking forward to riding this coaster. They will for sure both be winners, but Wicked Cyclone looks much more fast paced, and intense! I don't think parks theme coasters based on what happens where the park is located. I think the theme coasters more so based on what would create an awesome guest experience.
  3. Amazing. I can not wait to check out this coaster in person. I love the theming at the bottom of the drop. It is all coming together, and it is looking great!
  4. Having been to a lot of the major parks in the US... There are a very few parks I long to go to. However. One of them is Dollywood. Having Silver Dollar City as our home park, I am very thrilled to visit the park this summer to see just how the two compare to each other. Also, looking forward to going to SFMM. Yes a lot of people talk negatively about the park, however its still on my bucket list.
  5. Looking good! As always! This project has come so far. I can't wait to see more progression.
  6. Amazing!!! WE can only hope that Mean Streak can get this kind of treatment. I don't think anyone would be disappointed.
  7. You know... Holiday World was never on my "Must Visit" park list. I can say that Thunderbird has changed that. I can't wait to get out to the park and experience their new coaster!!
  8. Such beautiful Kings Island photos! Getting me excited for my first trip up there this summer!!
  9. LOVE the hand cut outs! That is to awesome! Glad to see Holiday World putting so much into this coaster! It's little details like this that are really going to set it apart for years to come.
  10. Have you ever actually been to Cedar Point?? The park is running out of room faster than I think any of us would like to admit. Yes the park is huge, but so are a lot of their coasters... Large coasters (for the most part) take up a large amount of room. I don't think there is as much room in the park as you think. Also, where are they going to expand... There is huge thing surrounding the park called "Lake Erie." I don't think the park can exactly move that. Looks pretty full to me.
  11. This park is looking amazing! Such great theming through out the park! Simply amazing!
  12. Very excited to watch this coaster progress! The pov looks awesome, I hope it lives up to the hype! If all goes well I could see these catching on at smaller parks! I could see a park like Magic Springs, or Frontier City getting a similar ride.
  13. Loved the update! Really liked this photo! Can't wait to get out to the park on opening day to see the new addition!
  14. WOW!!! Looking amazing! This project is coming together, and it is looking great! Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see the next update!
  15. Has it been announced? Not that I am aware of. However, looking at some of the photos it looks like they might have seat belts. Then again it could just have been something sitting in the seat. Take a look: (Source) Also, if you look at the close to the end of this video, and look at the left seat you can see what appears to be a red, or orange seat belt.
  16. Home Park: Silver Dollar City. Best Coaster? For me: Outlaw Run. For a more family coaster: Powder Keg. (Both amazing coasters though)
  17. WOW!!! I love the track color! However, (and maybe it's just the photo) but the trains seem so ... blah. The green on the trains just doesn't look as good. Then again, that's just my opinion. Still loving the track color!
  18. I'm probably more excited about this than I should be. I can't wait to see vertical construction begin!
  19. Love this idea, and layout. Do I ever think B&M would build something like this? No. But that is not the point, part of the point of NL(2) is to push the envelope, and create unusual awesome creations, and that's what you've done here! Good work, I really like the layout.
  20. I think these new Nano Coasters look amazing. However, I am on board with everyone else. I really wish the old school Phoenix coasters would return. I feel like now everything is geared toward trying to get parks to buy your products instead of individuals. Which there is nothing wrong with that, but you are disappointing so many others who really want to buy your products. I wish we could just find a happy median where we could get awesome products like the Static coaster trains, and the new nano coasters, AND the old school Phoenix coasters. I have been trying for YEARS to get my hands on a Phoenix model, and never any luck. I guess wanting the best of both worlds is just wishful thinking.
  21. I could see a B&M Dive coaster fitting in nicely at Cedar Point. It will be interesting to see if this actually turns out to be true.
  22. One of mine would have to be Fire In The Hole at Silver Dollar City. I don't know why I love this ride so much. It is just so much fun, and it is usually nice and cool on the inside of the building, and the splash down ending is a great way to end a ride on a nice hot day! I love the cheesy theming, and everything about the ride. It also helps that there is usually only a 5-10 minute wait for it. I know we always make it a point to ride it at least once each time we are at the park.
  23. I could not agree more. It seems like such a forgotten area of the park. If they could give Lost River a makeover, and really redo the entire area it would look so much better. However, I do not see anything happening to Lost River for a while. But that's just me.
  24. You know... personally I do not have anything against Selfie Sticks. I think they can be awesome when used as intended. Like If you want to take a selfie of your group, and you don't want someone to miss out on the photo to be behind the camera, then yes, a selfie stick is okay! Any other time... No. Just... no. I think it is a VERY poor decision for them to be on any theme park attraction, or at any theme park show. Under these circumstances I am all for the #BanSelfieSticks.
