  1. Sooo... They've been planning it for a while?? (Like most parks do?)
  2. I would suggest the Holiday Inn in Middletown, OH. It was only like 30 minutes from the park, it was a decent hotel, and only like $90 a night. It is close to a lot of food places, and is close to the interstate for getting to the park. We recently stayed there, and we will stay there next year when we return to KI!
  3. I seriously feel like all we are waiting on at this point are official Dive Machine statistics, and a layout.
  4. I'm pretty sure if I crashed my car into it a few times it would break! Pretty sure this made me laugh more than it should have.
  5. Nina Kleppe not liking this. Pepsi, or Coke?
  6. A 45 minute queue time for a train when the train breaks down as you are the next person to get on it. What is worse than no internet??
  7. True! The person below me likes Salmon!
  8. Last night. When was the last time you watched American Dad?
  9. Granted: But it rains the entire day you are there, so you get to do nothing. I wish I could be on Top Thrill Dragster right now.
  10. EWWWW NO!!!! Do you prefer white chocolate over dark chocolate??
  11. (Not sure if this has been mentioned already.) Bobbi Kristina Brown dies at 22. Like mother like daughter... To soon? In all seriousness though, it is always sad to see someone with so much potential throw their life away.
  12. With the color scheme comment, he's just referring to the fact that Gatekeeper, Millennium Force, Corkscrew, and Blue Streak have relatively similar color schemes, as do Maverick, Iron Dragon, Top Thrill Dragster, and Magnum. By my count, that's 4 blue and 4 red. How dare you forget Pipe Scream I'll call that a coaster when Bieber comes out Lord we can only hope!
  13. If this ends up going to Cedar Point I think it's going to look great. Even though it's orange. . . And there are "way to many coasters at Cedar Point that are the same color" . . . It's going to be a great addition to the parks skyline, and the track is so large that it is unique enough for it to stand out from the other coasters there. No one complained we SheiKra was built even though it is a similar color to Scorpion. Just saying.
  14. I don't really see the angle... But maybe that's just me. Also, if they are angled I am not seeing enough of an angle to create what was shown in the promo video(shown below.) Guess only time will tell!
  15. Ugh, I want to go to Kentucky Kingdom to go down Deep Water Dive so bad. (Obviously there are other attractions that make me want to go there as well.) But Deep Water Dive just looks so . . . terrifyingly amazing. Source.
  16. Judging by the newest photo I would say no. If you look at it you can see the ties where the track is going to be going up the spike, and none of them are turned. Looks like I was right, it looks like it was just a mistake in No Limits when they made the promo video.
  17. I completely forgot about Backlot Stunt Coaster! It is actually a really good compact coaster! It was one of the most surprising coasters of our recent visit! Source.
  18. I agree with the nonexistent theming. Having just visited SDC before going to Magic Springs. When we walked into Magic Springs it seriously felt like we were at a random state fair. Magic Springs makes Six Flags look like a Disney park! This has apparently become the new normal for the park. Last time we were at the park we went to get lunch... There was one family of 4 in front of us, and it took just shy of an hour to actually get our food. Like, I am not a chef, or anything like that but I do not see it taking an hour to cook 2 freaking hot dogs. Not to mention we gave the guy our credit card, and he disappeared for about 15 minutes. Seriously, the food department needs some work. Operations in this park are awful. Last time we were there we were so annoyed with dispatches taking forever that we decided to time them, just because we were curious. Arkansas Twister had 5-10 minutes between dispatches. The only crew that was actually good at dispatching was the X-Coaster crew. Then again, they have 12 seats to check... I mean... How hard could that be?? Crystal Falls is actually a decent water park, and they have a nice mix of slides!! The Flowrider is a blast!! You didn't miss much not riding Old No. 2. Plummet Summit is by far a great way to cool off on a hot day!! Dr. Dean's provides a nice pop of air at the top for it being such a small tower! Wild Thang isn't that bad. I can not do your typical spin and puke rides, but I can handle Wild Thang, and it is a lot of fun!! You didn't miss much with Arkansas Twister... just a really rough coaster! - - - - - Glad you at least enjoyed the visit!! Can't wait for the next report. It's nice to see reports of parks that are not posted on here often.
  19. I mean for a really compact coaster I think the Skyloop coasters are a lot of fun! Source.
