  1. Brisket. Steak, or Chicken?
  2. Well, now I can add Mean Streak to my list.
  3. Look, we can either talk about the trucks or the boats. Which one would you really choose? Hybrid, Aquatrax confirmed.
  4. Given the history of this thread. . . Fixed that for you.
  5. (Photo from the above link) Hey, you gotta give them a little credit. . . at least the tried to hide it. . . I'm not at all surprised that we haven't heard anything about the New Mean Streak yet. Looking back at New Texas Giant's remodel: - The ride closed November 1, 2009. - Renovations began almost immediately. - On March 3, 2010, RMC was revealed. - The total renovation was 18-months. - The ride reopened April 22, 2011. Now let's compare that to what we "know" of Mean Streak so far. - The ride closed September 16, 2016 - RMC vehicles have already been seen on site, and track has already started being removed (Similar to "renovations began almost immediately" with NTG. - Still no announcement yet, (assuming) because they just announced the new water park stuff going in for 2017. Also assuming if they announced New Mean Streak now, then it would overshadow the new water park stuff. From Cedar Point's standpoint I can see why they would want the water park to have its time of shining glory. For those who do not frequent Cedar Point if they announced New Mean Streak now it might make people less likely to want to come back for 2017. They'd rather wait till 2018 and do the new water park, and New Mean Streak during the same visit. - Given the size of Texas Giant, and the size of Mean Streak, I wouldn't be surprised if it were an 18 month renovation for Mean Streak as well, which would put construction ending around March 2018. Still giving them time to test, and cycle before Cedar Point opens in May. I personally think RMC is pretty much confirmed (just not officially, obviously) at this point. Especially after the RMC vehicles being on site. Now, I just can't wait to see what they do with the layout!! I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't add 40ft (ish) of height to the lift hill, making this "The worlds tallest wooden coaster," and worlds only "wooden hyper coaster." Or however they market it. I just hope it has a few inversions mix in the layout, because I feel like that's the one thing New Texas Giant is missing.
  6. I still vote they call it "Iron Streak."
  7. Not going to lie, probably one of the best RMC no limits coasters I've seen! Great job!
  8. Everything about this makes me jealous!! Hope you enjoyed your day!!
  9. I'm not a "Cedar Point Fanboy" and I can tell you that if you follow Coasterbill's "trick." Then Mean Streak isn't that rough. Sure it may be boring as hell half way through, but it's not rough. I can think of plenty of coasters that are way more rough than Mean Streak that people go bananas over. When we rode Mean Streak this past season and did the "trick" we actually enjoyed it, and ended up wanting to ride it again!! It was just to far out of the way for us to want to make the schlep over to it. Maybe Cedar Point is doing something to the ride to bring some life back to that area of the park, and to make the ride more enjoyable in more than 2 seats.
  10. Actually pretty interesting looking. I'll be even more interested if anyone buys one. Looks like it could be a more enjoy experience than just going around in a vertical loop.
  11. Mean Streak* two words. But nice try. *Robb ...and god I hope so. Same.
  12. Haven't you heard?? It's going to replace Mean Streak.
  13. To make it worse its the last Monday of summer. It's Tuesday.
  14. No. Do you like breakfast food?
  15. Togos. What's worse than the Intamin cable?
  16. July 30th 2016. When was the last time you went to the hospital?
  17. I'll add new Dodonpa to my list!!! (As long as they don't mess with the launch.)
  18. Yeah, no. I mean, I guess yes, RMC rides are similar to each other in the way that they all provide crazy, extreme, ejector air. However, the nice mix of some having inversions and some not. Some being IBOX, some not. . . I've never been on an RMC and though "Oh, this is just like all those other RMC's I've been on." However, when riding a B&M 90% of the time it's "Oh this feels just like the other B&M coaster _____________." If anything I feel like B&M coasters are much more similar to each other than RMC coasters are.
