You'd be torn down, and never spoken of again. What if Cedar Point got rid of Raptor?

No. Do you prefer summer more than winter?
-
No. Do you plan on traveling out of your home country next year?

Fixed that for ya. Even if you count topper track as wooden (which I don't, I know I know... dead horse), half the structure is still held up by steel. Ehh, it's a wooden coaster... simple as that. I don't care about the structure, just the track - Which is clearly wooden. Ummm. . . Looks like steel to me. . .

Yes. Do you think Top Thrill Dragster is better than Kingda Ka?

Game: Careful What You Wish For

Granted. But it's a new "worlds best kiddie coaster" era. I wish SFMM and Cedar Point were both in the central United States. -

Energylandia Park Discussion Thread
DoinItForTheFame replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
"Best coaster on the planet?" I feel like that's a bit extreme. Sure the coaster looks amazing, but it does not my any means look like it could be the best coaster on the planet. That being said, I do love the new trains, and the two "splash" downs. -
Three closest parks near you
DoinItForTheFame replied to mike541x's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Sadly Magic Springs and Crystal Falls is the closest theme park to me. 125 miles, 2 hours 30 minutes. Silver Dollar City: 163 miles 3 hours. (However, this is the park we visit the most) Frontier City: 195 miles 3 hours (However we usually go to SFOT instead which is 4 hours away.) -
So parrot coaster has broke all of these Longest wing coaster - 4,164 feet Fastest non-launched wing coaster - 67 mph Tallest inversion on any roller coaster - 170 feet Longest drop on a wing coaster - 164 feet Most inversions on a wing coaster - 6 ?? Well, lets see. . . Parrot Coaster: Length: 4,192.9 ft Speed: 67.1 mph Not to mention that GateKeeper lost it's "tallest/highest" inversion in the world record to Flash at Lewa Adventure. So yeah. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway. . . My list: Tallest/Longest Drop On A Steel Coaster: Kingda Krap Longest Wooden Roller Coaster: Beast I'm not about to try to figure out all the "lame" record holders that I've been on like most inversions on a floorless coaster, tallest hybrid coaster, fastest non-launched wing coaster ect.

I could be (and probably am) wrong but it looks like a Batman clone.

Dollywood Discussion Thread

I'd probably go with the App. If they have decided that they want the park to be open longer because they are expecting better weather or something along those lines, it's easier to change the info on the app rather than changing brochures. -

With Six Flags Magic Mountain and Cedar Point being two of the most popular/biggest name parks in the Six Flags and Cedar Fair chain it got me thinking. . . For those of us who have been to both parks, which park do you prefer? And why? If you have not been to both parks, which park do you want to visit the most? It's a really tough call for me Cedar Point and SFMM are both very different parks, but both have attractions that make them unique. I think I will always pick Cedar Point over SFMM for small reasons like, operations are amazing at Cedar Point, and meh to say the least at SFMM. Not to mention Cedar Point's location is one of the best park locations in the world!! The water surrounding the park makes for some beautiful views from the attractions. So, with all that being said, which park would you rather visit? Cedar Point or SFMM, and why? (Also, I apologize if this thread already exist. I did a search and after looking through 80+ pages nothing similar came up.)

Some parts have already arrived. There is a HUGE difference between TRACK and "some parts." As much as I HATE spinning coasters, if this turns out to be an amazing version of Cobras Curse (where the spinning doesn't seem to make you want to puke) then I'll be 100% happy with this addition. Thankfully we visit the park every other weekend, so as construction starts to progress more and more next season I'll be able to provide us with some consistent photo construction updates. Not to mention I feel like next season is when this ride will really start taking shape!
