  1. Fit For A King, "Skin & Bones"
  2. ^ Someone who visited St. Louis who went to both SFSL and SFGAm told me they were identical parks.
  3. I have a friend who is into roller coasters, mostly mainstream ones, and I gave him insight into some cooler, lesser known ones and some weird fun facts too. Also my family is not an enthusiast family but I've told them enough so they know more than the GP.
  4. ^Let's be real...it's probably going to be Battle for Metropolis, although the T-rex Batman Robin duelling coaster would be phenomenal.
  5. Sooo the world's tallest wooden coaster with three hour lines just opened up in 2014 and Illinois is represented by X-Flight...which is also two years older...
  6. Thanks for the report! I realy wish I had been to Six Flags Astroworld! It's sad that are no Ultra Twisters in America as I really want to try one
  7. I'm super pumped to be going to ride Storm Chaser this summer!! In terms of rides I probably won't get to, Lightning Rod and Joker are my most anticipated.
  8. Here is my list of "fun" coasters: Blue Streak - Cedar Point Batman - the Ride - Six Flags Great America (borderline fun and intense) Superman - Ultimate Flight - Six Flags Great America Viper - Six Flags Great America Whizzer - Six Flags Great America Phoenix - Knoebel's Flying Turns - Knoebel's Wildcat - Hersheypark Lightning Racer - Hersheypark Grizzly - Kings Dominion Outlaw - Adventureland Iowa Jack Rabbit - Kennywood Raven - Holiday World (borderline fun and intense) Excalibur - Valleyfair! All Wild Mouse coasters/spinning coasters
  9. I know it came out a while ago, but has anyone read A Work in Progress by Connor Franta? It is FANTASTIC!
  10. I basically listen to all genres, except country and most pop. Right now I'm into a lot of hardcore/punk/metalcore/djent bands such as Hundredth, Vildjharta, Erra, Asking Alexandria, Hellogoodbye, TesseracT, et cetera. But I like lots of genres so if anyone has suggestions I am happy to listen to new music!
  11. Hundredth - "Weathered Town"
  12. This comment goes so well with your avatar! Personally I am happy with this addition. I hope they incorporate the Ew show somehow into this attraction because this is my favourite section of the Tonight Show.
  13. Looks like a great park! The thing that stuck out most was the robot themed instructions for Venus GP. Some American parks need to have themed instructions for their rides *coughcoughSixFlagscough*.
  14. Interestingly SkyRush is my favourite roller coaster and Magnum is my second favourite. I have had no issues with roughness on Magnum or pain on both roller coasters. Am I the only one?
  15. I am VERY happy with this announcement, and I love the trains and the layout. I do wish, and this is just me being picky, that the track could be pink or purple or black or something like that. Now Cedar Point just needs to give RMC keys to Mean Streak and I'm set!
  16. Me too! RCT2 is bt far my favourite but I LOVE how RCTW looks. I also hope this is available for Mac so I can use it!
  17. ^ Awesome!! All B&M trains are beautiful. I love most new trains on new coasters. I also aesthetically really love Arrow Looper trains a lot for some reason a lot (don't judge me). Other than poorly maintained/sketchy coasters I haven't really found any trains I don't think are beautiful.
  18. I agree. When I went there was no single rider lines for the coasters, and obviously I think there should have been. I will say, though, that if you're going a weekday the crowds will not be too bad at this time of the year. (I don't think...)
  19. August 5, Chi-Town House of Blues, Tokio Hotel, MXMS, and Victorian Halls Tokio Hotel is a dance-emo rock band that was popular like 5 years ago or something. MXMS is a "funeral pop" band that blew my mind away. So good Victorian Halls is a local alternative-y kinda band that were pretty good. It was cool to because the members of MXMS hung out after the show and I met them, and it was pretty cool. I hope all three bands get noticed in the near future

  21. ^ I saw that article. There are already bins at Raptor and other rides for you to put loose articles. Parks say not to bring loose articles on the rides. It's that people don't listen...
  22. I don't know much about these rides, is Skyhawk basically a Zamperla Air Race meets WindSeeker?
  23. NOW what are the changes of Gravity Group or Martin and Vleminckx making a launched wooden coaster in China?
  24. Based on Goliath, I love modern wooden coasters, but I do love the traditional-style wooden coasters like CCI in terms of aesthetics and style. I've been on Shivering Timbers, Cornball Express, Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain, Hoosier Hurricane Raven, and Legend, all of which are really unique and memorable and good (with the exception of Hoosier Hurricane which is very unique in that it borders the park and dives under the bridge, but it is one of the most painful rides I have ever experienced). I haven't ridden rides like Boulder Dash, Cyclops, or Tremors, but they all are memorable and unique, especially with Tremor's gift shop tunnel, that one drop on Cyclops, and of course Boulder Dash which runs in the woods and has lots of airtime. GCI coasters, on the other hand, all seem the same and look the same, with exception of Wild Lightning at Fun Spot and Lightning Racer. I've been on Renegade, Wildcat at Hershey Park, and both sides of Lightning Racer, and they are great rides, Wildcat was phenomenal in my opinion, but they all look the same from an overhead view and other than station fly-throughs, they aren't really as intuitive and clever as CCI was. I do believe they paved the way for Gravity Group's early rides like Hades, Voyage, and Ravine Flyer II which are very cleverly designed, and also RMC. I really like this thread because I actually never thought about CCI too much and I do realize they were a great company that will be missed.
  25. I know there's a lot of these Superman: Ultimate Flight clones out now but these actually look really fun! I'm not mad .
