Same here! I picked June 10-12 back in February. Let's hope it stays this way and that all the bugs are worked out for the most part. -

And we have an update from Tony: We have good news regarding Steel Vengeance and Fast Lane Plus. The manufacturer has completed adjustments to the ride, and we are now operating with an additional train. Because of this, Steel Vengeance will be added back to the list of rides that accept Fast Lane Plus, beginning tomorrow, Saturday, June 2. Thank you for your patience during this time – we know Steel Vengeance is on your list of rides to conquer at the park, and I can assure you, it’s well worth the wait! https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog/steel-vengeance-update---june-1 -

Good to hear but what about the more important SkyRide? That electrical outage must have done a number on it. -

Whew! Good deal. I can now remove the blade from my wrist and step back off the balcony too. Otherwise it wasn't going to be a good morning. Please remain calm and ride on. You would imagine and I hope so. If anyone is there today after 5 pm please post if you see anything like multi-train testing. -
Nice update! I am now excited for the Animal Kingdom part especially since I have not been to WDW in over two decades. I better start paying attention to these TR's because whether I like it or not I assume they will pull me in for a visit once they open up the Star Wars part. Damn you Mickey! Meal plan sales would probably go up at these parks. And if there was ever a power outage where the ride just stopped....no one would care. Just reach out and 'relax'.

What coasterbill wrote, What he was actually thinking, I think coasterbill may even dream of the Sky Ride getting the RMC treatment someday. -

^ Interesting, thanks for the information. Did you see any heavy equipment out there or in the back employee parking lot? I checked the building and work permits for the city of Shakopee and nothing was posted yet. But, I have seen them post permits weeks after the actual work has been started on other projects. I will make an effort to get there Thursday night if it is not raining and check it out. Anyone else see or know of anything? -

Crazy. Glad to hear at least your OK along with your house but what a mess. But when looking at the pictures I initially thought it was a new remodel at Mt. Olympus. -

^ School for MN children lets out the second week of June (depends on the day for each individual school). So you still might get some buses of kids but remember that those buses usually leave between 4-6 pm so they are not there all day. This early in the season you should be fine on either day. After June 15th is when it starts to get crowded on any given day. -

Yes it did open and unfortunately no. There is no Prince specific music playing while waiting in the queue line. Just the normal music for the Route 76 area which is usually a 70's themed list of tunes. Are you serious? Viking fans don't cry anymore. After four Superbowl losses while also losing our last four NFC Conference Championships were used to it. Were just not used to getting physically assaulted in the parking lot. The worst we usually encounter is when the Green Bay fans always moon the team bus as it leaves town after a game. -

Dropped by the park today to check out Delirious and ride some coasters. Of course I saw 'Renegade Mike' on both my laps. Renegade is running just fine as usual. Even though it was slow at the park the one train abomination Excalibur was actually running its half full train. This was my first Larson Looper. It was fun and smooth. Not as 'dizzying' as I assumed it would be. It didn't loop as fast as the old Enterprise like I expected (which is good for me). It looks great in Route 76 and from the front of park. Took some photo's to share. But first, a shot of the new grass where RipTide used to be. RIP. And now to find Delirious. The Flying Scooters (Flying Eagles) were renamed this weekend due to a lost bet between DP and VF for the NFL Conference Championship game last year. To get the full effect Valleyfair management flew in some Eagles fans so they could bully kids in line and then beat them up in parking lot on the way out. The new Coke Refresh station right by Delirious in Route 76. And here it is! It even has purple rocks at the base of the sign. This one is for you Larry. The loading bridge between Delirious and the line queue. A shot from the main walkway that approaches Delirious. That purple train. Then the purple operator station. If your allergic to purple, you cannot go near this ride. Base shot. The other side. Side view from the parking lot. The view from the parking lot as you arrive. One more shot in all its purple glory. Cover of this year's park map. Going to be a purple year. And there is nothing wrong with that. You don't see it much and it really stands out. And the pin they were handing out for Delirious. They did this for North Star Last year on Preview Day but since that was canceled this year they were handing them out this weekend. -

I am spoiled for earning money and then deciding to spend it on FP+ at CP after traveling 700 miles? You must be kidding. Now if someone paid for the pass and gave it to me then yes, I would be spoiled. If that is the way someone enjoys spending their money and time at a park, that does not make anyone spoiled even if that is the only way they would visit the park. If you don't like FP then don't buy one, it really is that simple. Just please quit complaining about or judging those that do. -

Hey now (said in my best Hank Kingsley voice, ), I never said they were going to do it anytime soon or even at all. I am just saying that it is possible and has been done at the park before. I just get tired of people of posting the thoughts of 'I don't think so, never, not going to happen' . If you want to say 'possible but not probable' or 'maybe/maybe not' I hear you. Just my pet peeve when people post absolutes like that when the president has already happened once. And I am not attacking you or anything so please don't take it that way, just venting my personal pet peeve about the possibility a decent sized coaster could come to VF in the future. On another note I do think a decent sized coaster will come to VF in the next 5 years. I think that because of the plan they have been working on the last three years to expand the water park (much needed), with approval at the Federal and State levels along with city approval last year for moving wetlands at the back of the park to create more space. This plan involves the removal of Excalibur. And when removing existing coasters from a park CF has a history of replacing them with a new one within two years over the last two decades. Now if your going to ask me what kind, I have no idea. I am just encouraged that CF has been working with more manufactures like Gerstlauer and RMC lately which gives them even more options to find a coaster that fits the park volume and price range. Now back to your regularly scheduled program. -

Why not? They spent 10 million on Wild Thing in 1996. In adjusted inflation dollars for 2018 that would be $15,905,289.99 today. If they did it once 22 years ago they can do it again if they want. -

Sounds like you need a trip to visit VF, NU, definitely some Paisley Park and a First Avenue visit. And like you said Delirious is in his 'freaking backyard', Paisley Park is about 10 miles (15 minutes) further down highway 101 from VF. It's always good to have passionate and educated music fans. -
